Um....
Mute
"Good morning.", I said.
"Morning," said Sungyeol.
I didn't get a greeting from Sandeul.
"Good morning, Sandeul-oppa.", I said to him.
He just stared at me while eating his breakfast.
"Yah,", Sungyeol said to Sandeul."What's wrong with you?" Then, Sandeul whispered to Sungyeol. He may have whispered something so sudden that made Sungyeol spit out his breakfast.
"Mwo?!", he shouted, spilling everything from his mouth.
"Aigoo... Sungyeol-oppa, clean yourself again before you go to school." I said.
"You clean yourself, too.", he replied.
Confused, "Why?"
"Are you dating Mute or not?", he asked. "Spill everything."
"Your boyfriend?", Sandeul asked.
"Yes.", I joked.
"It was a joke.", I answered, remembering. Then, relief washed over his face.
"But, we do go on dates...", I mumbled.
"What did you say?", he asked.
"What? Did I say anything?", I asked, pretending.
That reminds me. I need to tell him we should stop. The lessons, that is what it is.
When I entered the classroom, I got hugged by Jiae from the back.
"Yaejin, I'm sorry. You're date-able.",she said.
"It's okay.", I said."I was just over reacting."
"You know what, you're cuter than me. That what makes you date-able."
"It's okay. You don't have to say that much."
I looked around the room. He wasn't there. I guess, I'll wait.
"YAH! LEE SUNGJONG!", I suddenly heard my brother shouting. Then, Lee Sungjong rushed to the classroom. He stood beside me.
"YAH!", Sungyeol came in. "Don't you dare flirt with my sister. Arasseo?", he warned. Then, the whole class started mumbling.
The teacher came. Sungyeol bowed then left.
"Why was Lee Sungyeol of Class 3-2 here?", said the teacher.
"Seonsaeng-nim,", I spoke. "My brother came to give me this." I held up a notebook from my bag.
"Ah, is that so? Well then, everyone sit down. Homeroom will now begin."
h,
The school bell rings.
"Everyone, don't forget to do your homeworks.", the teacher said then left.
"Yah, Yaejin-ah. What's this about Sungjong-ssi?", Jiae asked.
"It's nothing.", I answered, seeing Sungjong walk out the door. "Oh, Jiae, I have to go now. I need to do something." I followed him.
"Huh?", Jiae said. "Yah, Lee Yaejin.."
"Sungjong-ah!", I called out. He turned to me.
"I'm sorry about my brother.", I said. "He's kinda annoying."
"It's okay. I don't mind.", he said, quietly.
"Um... about the da--", I caught myself before saying it. "I mean, the lessons..." He stayed quiet.
"How do I say this? Uh,.."
"You want to stop?", he asked. I looked at him.
"Uh,...yeah.", I said, then bowed. "I'm sorry."
"Don't bow. There's nothing to be sorry about.", he said.
"But...."
"It's okay. We only had one session, though." I kept quiet.
"You were really difficult to teach, too. You kept making mistakes even after demonstrating it again and again. Now, I have less work to do.",he said with a smile.
"Eh? I didn't know you could be mean.", I said. He laughed.
He looks cute when he laughs.
"Yaejin-ssi,", he said, waking me from my daze. "Shouldn't you be in class?", he asked.
"Huh?", I replied. "Oh, it's time for math. Shouldn't you be in class too?"
"I have something to do. I'll be there later."
"Huh, but---"
"I'll see you later." He gave me a smile and left.
Sungjong's talking to me. I hope I'm the only one who sees this side of his.
~~Somewhere else~~
"Sungjong's talking to Yaejin. They're getting close." , I'm the only one who sees that side.
