"Yah, Yaejin-ah,", Jiae said."What are you trying to do with Hyeomin?"

"What do you mean?", I asked.

"How am I suppose to take one side? I mean, both of you are my friends.",she answered."You've been my best friend for like forever but Hyeomin and I get along pretty much better than the both of us."

"You don't have to take a side.", I told her. 

I know what were doing is silly. It's like in one of those animations where these girls do ridiculous stuff to each other just fighting over this guy. I should be ashamed of myself right now.

Jiae sighed. "About Sungjong....", she said.

"...?"

"What do you really like about him?", she asked.

"How should I say this,...", I started. "It's like he makes you uncomfortable, yet you feel safe around him. I don't know, but there's just something about him that makes him so different from others.... Haven't you noticed that?"

"Of course, I have!", she said. "That's why I fell for him on the first day of school."

"Well, that's Lee Sungjong for you.", I said, smiling.

Out of nowhere, Sungjong went into our sight.

"JESUS!", I exclaimed. "Do you always come out by magic?"

Sungjong, confused, said, "I just came from that alley." 

"How do you always pop out whenever your name's called?"

He answered with jazz hands. "Magic."

"Haha. Funny.", I said, sarcastically.

"Well, it's not supposed to be funny.", he said.

"That's why you shouldn't try."

"Same goes for you."

"Yah, I am funny." I put my hands on my hips.

"Prove it.", he said, poking me.

"OH MY GOD STOP FLIRTING!!", Jiae spoke, loudly.

I blushed. "W-We're not." I looked at Sungjong. He had a poker face on. How can he be SO EXPRESSIONLESS?

"Aha.", she said."Yeah, that's obvious." Then, she looked at Sungjong.

"Yah, Lee Sungjong,", she said."Who is better? Lee Yaejin? Kang Hyeomin?" I blushed even more while he just blushed at that moment. Now, you blush..?!

"Ohoho.",Jiae chuckled."Undecided folk we have here."

"J-Jiae! Don't you think that's kinda rude? Asking who's better? Asking about me?", I said.

"Psshh. Don't you think this is good evaluation?", she said, grinning. That evil grin!

"Well, if I have to pick,", Sungjong spoke. "I would say Hyeomin is better."

What is this feeling? It's like being hit by a truck.

"But that's because I've known her longer." Angels brought back my soul.

"In terms of appearance, Yaejin's prettier and cuter." Heartbeat beating too fast. I'm prettier? I looked at Jiae. She had her eyebrows raising at me. Kyaa!~~ I'm dying now!

"Sungjong-ssi, thank you for your words. We must be leaving now. So, goodbye.", Jiae told him.

"Oh, goodbye.", I managed to say quietly.

When I reached home, I was flushed.

"Welcome home my cute sister!", Sandeul greeted me. Cute sister.... "Yaejin's prettier and cuter".

"DON'T GREET ME LIKE THAT!", I snapped at him then rushed to my room. Sandeul was left confused.

As I entered my room, I can't help but smile. Smile wider than the sky.

When he said appearance, I'm better. But, does that mean it ends with my looks? I'm only better at looks? 

No, shut up, Lee Yaejin. Of course, there's more than just looks. Stop being pessemistic. , I spoke to myself. I'm already strangling the pillow.
