~ One Year Later ~

"Happy Birthday Sungyeol!!!!!" Myungsoo and his parents yelled. Sungyeol sat infront of a huge cake on the table.

"Thank you everyone."

"Aigoo. My son is becoming a young man!" Sungyeol's mom said wiping a tear.

"Umma, I'm only turning twelve, don't be ridiculous." Sungyeol was obviously embarrased.

"Happy Birthday Hyung!" Myungsoo said as he gave Sungyeol a big hug.

"Thanks Myungie! but it's also a special day for you too."

"Huh?" Myungsoo questioned?

"Today was the day I met you and saved you from the streets."

"Of course, I could never forget that day, I'm still thankful for all of you guys." Myungsoo gave Sungyeol another hug.

"Aww. You guys are so cute. I must take a picture." Sungyeol's mom said as she took out her camera.

"Umma, must you embarrass me on my birthday?"

"I'm sorry Yeollie. Here's your present." She handed him a huge wrapped box.

"You guys didn't have to get me anything, I have alot of stuff already." 

"How many times do we have to tell you how much of a good kid you are. Me and ur Umma love you." Sungyeol's dad said. Sungyeol smiled and opened his present.

"A mixer? I love it! how did you guys know I wanted it?" Sungyeol said with his eyes lit up brighter than the sun.

"It was all on Myungsoo. He picked it for you." His dad said.

"Well i know how much you like to bake so the mixer will be very helpful." Myungoo said shyly.

"Myungsoo. You're the best!!" Sungyeol hugged him.

Myungsoo POV.

We went up to Sungyeol's room after dinner. We were getting ready in bed as we layed on the bed we shared. We were very close that we were comfortable sleeping in the same bed. we layed ther talking about random stuff and some personal stuff.

"Hey Myungie?"

"Yes Yeollie?"

"Do you ever think of me as a spoiled rotten rich kid?"

"Of course not, why would you think that?"

"I don't know. It's just that i got alot of presents today."

"Well it's your birthday. Be happy, and even though i never had any presents on my birthday, I'm happy that you're happy."

"Myungie, you're the best. You are the best present ever." He said to me before he fell asleep next to me. 

I watched his as he was fast asleep, I couldn't help but admire is angel like face and perfectly tossled hair. I was always the last to sleep because I would always watch over him. He was really a sleeping angel.

"Yeolie." I whispered, as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"I love you. I'm sorry this is the only way I can tell you. Maybe one day, You'll love me back, but it you don't it's okay. If you're happy with someone else, I'll supported you."

I kissed his forehead before I fell asleep.

"Wake up Myungie!!!! Time to get up!!!" Sungyeol yelled next to my ear.

"Five more minutes. Please." I mumbled.

"Well you made me do this." He jumped on the bed and landed on top of me. Then he started tickling me.

"Ahh Yeol, that tickles, ok I'm up." I opened my eyes to see his face close to mine. Man I was so tempted to kiss him right on the lips. But that would be wrong.

"Success!" Sungyeol cheered, and got off of me.

"Let's go get ready and go to school."

"Okay."

We finished eating the delicious breakfast that Sungyeol made me. For a twelve year old, he is quite a cooking prodigy. While we were walking to school, there were alot of kids who said hello to Sungyeol. It was normal, he had lots of friends as he is my only friend, I was pretty shy and didn't like meeting knew people. The only other person I talked to was my cousin Sunggyu, who I learned went the same school as I did. He was obviously on the richer side of my family. But we really didn't talk much.

"Yeollie, lets go eat lunch together later."

"Sorry Myungie, I promised Woohyun and the others I would eat with them." I felt sad inside.

"But we always have lunch together."

"I'm sorry. We can eat lunch tomorrow."

I couldn't help but frown right infront of him. He's been occupied a lot recently, and I never really see him much, even after school, he had plans with other people. Of course I was never invited. They didn't really like me I guess. I don't want to feel like a grinch.

"Okay, have fun Yeollie."

"I will."

He walked off and i found myself sitting on an empty table like I have been these pass few days. 

Sunggyu POV. 

I was on my way to class when I saw my little cousin all by himself. He's been like this for a while and now looks like a good time to talk to him.

"Hey Myungsoo." I said sitting next to him.

"Hey Hyung." He said depressed.

"What's wrong."

"It's nothing." A tear fell from his eyes onto his cheek but he quickly wiped it away.

"It doesnt't seem like nothing." 

"Okay. I just feel neglected by Sungyeol. He's becoming really popular and I'm just a shy and lonely kid that nobody wants to hang out with."

"And you're afraid he will leave you behind."

"Exactly." More tears running down his puffy cheeks.

"Don't worry. He could never leave you, I'm pretty sure you're very special to him."

"I'm not so sure anymore. Even at home he just messages people on the internet. It's like he doesn't even notice me."

I could tell this was a big deal since he ran away from home and that Sungyeol was all he has,  But I'm his cousin and if Sungyeol won't confort him, I will.

"It will be okay. Just talk to him at home, okay?"

"I will." He stopped crying.

"Good, I gotta get to class. See ya!" 

"Okay." 

I gave him a pat on the shoulder. I really hope Myungsoo will be okay, and that Sungyeol would stop being too blind to realize that Myungsoo is hurting. 

After they work things out, everything should be fine, right?
