Kyungsoo's POV

Ok, I think something is definitely wrong with me because she looks so familiar. But that can't be; where would I have met this fair maiden from? Siting on a chair next to her bedside, I stayed there for awhile, not moving. I observed every feature of her sleeping figure. If I wouldn't have known any better, I would've mistaken her to be sleeping beauty. The way her silky black hair falls past her shoulders and the way her milky white skin glows in the sunlight, all seemed way too familiar that it was driving me insane.

Unconsicously brushing a few strands of her hair away from her face, I noticed how soft her skin was. Then slowly examining the rest of her body with my eyes, my hand somehow found its way to hers, intertwining them together. I felt myself slowly getting entranced by her beauty. Accidently squeezing her hand too tight, she started to stir in her sleep until her eyes began to open.

The instant our eyes met, I felt something indescribable. It was like time had stopped, and everything else in the world faded away; it was just her and me. This- no. I can't like her; I have Annabelle...once I find her that is. I then cleared my throat and quickly let go of her hand. Averting my gaze, I tried to speak calmly since I was still not used to being around females.

"Hey, you seemed pretty worn out yesterday. I found you on the beach, and since you passed out, I brought you to my palace." When I didn't hear a reply, I started to panic. "P-Please don't be mad or frightened; I r-really didn't do anything to you. I'm not a ert...promise," I stuttered while still not looking at her.

After finding it weird still not hearing a reply, I finally gathered enough courage to look at her only to find her wearing a funny expression. It looked as though wanted to laugh but no sound could be heard. I ended up bursting into a fit of laughter looking at her face. After a round of laughter, I turned my whole body, facing the maiden only to find her smiling brightly at me. Only then did I realize, I didn't even know her name.

"Hello, I'm Prince Kyungsoo. What's your name? I don't recall ever seeing you in my kingdom before," I said with my most caring smile.

Soon, both of our smiles disappeared. Not only did she ignore me, yet again, she stared down at her hands as if she was mute. Is it me or is it something I said? I know I'm no Luhan, but I didn't think I was that appalling. Maybe I should start taking some of his advice. Buried deep in my thoughts, I didn't realize the maiden staring wide-eyed at me. Not until she caressed my cheek with her hand did I finally snap out of my trance. Totally flustered by her action, my face flushed as red as a tomato. My heart palpitating as I tried to think of something to say.

"Uh-uhm. If you're not comfortable saying your name, can you at least tell me where you're from? I can bring you back home."

Once again, there was still no answer. With a sigh, I pondered about what to do with her. How is it possible for her not to have a name or a home? I guess she's actually mute. Another sigh escaped my lips
