Hunters of the Night: The brewing warChen decided to interrupt the awkward silence. “So, why don’t we introduce ourselves and then we’ll tell you guys our side of the story.” Everyone nodded in agreement. SuHo put his fingers into his mouth one, solid high note and then it dropped into a lower note. The window burst open a minute later and Kris and Tao shot through the window, knocking down SeHun, LuHan and Kai. “Oops. Sorry guys!!!” Kris landed and looked at them apologetically. SeHun and LuHan groaned and yelled at Kai. “Get you fat off me!!!” SeHun glared and shoved Kai’s out of his face. LuHan screamed at his friends to yank him out from under Kai. Kai glared at SeHun and stuck out his middle finger. “Get your face out of my !!!!! It’s not like I want to have my fabulous in your face !!!” SeHun snapped his fingers and Vinao grabbed Kai by the back of his shirt and dangled him in the air. “I dare you to say that again. Let’s see what happens.” Kai yelped as Vinao yanked him back and forth in the air. “Shadow!!! Help me!!!!!” Shadow rolled his eyes and circled before settling down and taking a nap. Kai cursed and tried to smack Vinao in the face. He nipped and snapped his beak at his hands. He glared at Kai and dropped him on the floor before flying over to LuHan and Sheea, tucking his wings in and settling down beside LuHan and chatting with Sheea. Everyone burst into laughter as Kai laid there, sticking up in the air. Kai stumbled and stood up and glared at everyone, face red. D.O laughed and pinched his cheeks. Kris dusted himself off and calmed down, stomach aching from laughing. He clapped his hands together, getting everyone’s attention. He cleared his throat and smiled. “Heyo everybody. I’m the pack leader, Kris. I have flight and my companion is Inferno. He’s hanging somewhere outside the window. Now, when each of you guys introduce yourselves, include your name, power, companion, and the weapon you carry. The last one is directed toward the hunters. Now let’s continue. My bros first.” Everyone turned to the next closest werewolf. “Ayo waddup people. I’m Park ChanYeol. I like to rap and sing, but I also like playing instruments. You’ll find me most of the time in the music room. I have the power of Fire. My companion is Nai here” He flicked the charm. “I would introduce you all to him but I’ve put him on close watch. Sorry for how he’s been an . I’m nicknamed the Happy Virus.” He smiled and pointed to the next person. “Hi everybody. I’m Kim JongDae but I stick with Chen. I like to sing and write songs. My bros say I’m a troll, but I think otherwise. My power is Lightning.” He pointed toward Kai and he shot off the floor with a yelp. Kai glared at him. “You !! That ing hurt!!!” Chen patted his companion on the neck. “This here is my buddy Storm Rider. He’s a Storm horse. He doesn’t make noise because he hovers so he might scare you guys sometimes. Not that I mind.” He smiled and gestured to the cursing male on the floor. He looked up at everyone and smiled. He disappeared and appeared on the chandelier on the ceiling. They all looked up, amused. “Hey guys. I’m Kim Jongin, but call me Kai. I like to dance. I have the power of teleportation and that lazy black blob over there is Shadow. He can scare you sometimes. He’s best buds with Storm Rider. I’m Chen’s partner in crime.” He smirked when he finished. The hunters were wondering what he meant by partner in crime, but they decided not to ask. “Annyeonghaseyo!! I’m Kim JoonMyeon but I prefer SuHo. I like to sing. I have the power of water and you’ll find me mostly in my room or with my animal friends at the beach. My friend here is Shaii. He may be quiet sometimes. He has sharp teeth and hooves. I warn you guys not to feed him when I don’t tell you too. You don’t wanna end up with on 9 fingers. If you ever need anything you can come to me!!!!” He smiled and the hunters felt like they could trust him. They turned to the last werewolf. He stood there. Arms crossed across his chest and smiled for the first time. They all smiled back, thinking how cute and better he looked when he smiled. “Hi. I’m Oh SeHun. I like to dance and rap. I kinda have a lisp that appears sometimes. I have the power of Wind. That bunch of feathers there is Vinao.” Then the werewolves went to the wall, some sitting some leaning against it. Kris raised his eyebrows and told them to start. “Nice to meet you! I’m Kim Minseok but I like XiuMin better. I like to sing, dance, and rap. My power is Frost. My friend here is Winter. She has a lot of honor and pride, as you saw when she was fighting with the phoenix. As for my weapon...” He put his hands by his shoulder blades and his eyes glowed. He yanked his arms forward and two identical frost white swords appeared, with delicate carvings. The blades left a trail of snow white swirls where it cut through the air. “These two were given to me from my father as a birthday present. I give the left I named Chill and the right Pearl.” He twirled the blades and they disappeared, leaving behind snowflakes. He laughed when the werewolves by the wall straightened from leaning back to avoid getting hit. XiuMin sat on Winter and gestured to the others. “NiHao. I’m Huang ZiTao but Tao is what I’ve been called. I like to rap and do wushu. My partner is my panda, Gucci. Yes, I love Gucci. Don’t mock me or I will knock your head off and shove you out the window. My power is time control. My weapon is…” He flipped backward and when he straightened, there was a long solid stick in his hand, tipped with sharpened points. Everyone except the hunters leaned back, accustomed to the proximity of the weapons. “My Ma gave it to me. She hand made it and trained me personally how to use it. It apparently can’t brake, no matter how hard I train or fight with it.” He spun the stick and threw it in the air. The moment it left his hand I shimmered and disappeared, leaving rose petals in its tracks, drifting to the floor. D.O stepped forward. “I’m Do KyungSoo but call me D.O. I like to sing and beatbox. I have the power of strength and my companion is this lovely tiger, Arasha. She smells fear, and I mean it. She literally can so be calm around her if you can and don’t be scared. You’ll get used to her if you haven’t. my weapons are…” He flicked his wrists and knives appeared between his fingers. He flicked his wrists and they embedded into the floor before they could blink. Then he stuck his hand onto the floor and yanked and drew out a short sword. “My mother gave these to me. She loved far ranged attacks, but was very skilled at close range. She said they’d always appear back to me if I ever lost them and that they won’t appear back to me until the target is dead or that I didn’t mean to hit the target and then it’ll come back. She also said that all of our weapons were like that.” He put his hand above the weapons embedded in the floor and they sunk into the earth. He stood up, dusting his hands and stepping back. “Hi everyone. Nice to meet you, I’m Zhang Yixing but I go by Lay. I like to sing and play guitar and piano. My power is healing and my companion is, believe it or not, a unicorn. Her name is Uruhui. My weapon is…..” He swung his arm in a side ways arch and a silver bow appeared in his hand and he grabbed an arrow out of midair and shot it across then room. Then he snapped his wrist and it disappeared, replaced by two deadly looked daggers. “I have a bow and arrows and I have two Chinese ring Daggers given and made by my father. The family member that mostly has the strongest appearance in the spiritual world is usually the woman but my dad had a stronger aura and soul. He made it so that I wouldn’t run out of arrows and that they were made out of nature energy itself.” He threw the blades into the air and stuck his palms out. They disappeared into his palm. BaekHyun and LuHan stepped forward and smiled. “I’m Xi LuHan” “And I’m Byun BaekHyun.” LuHan stepped forward and swung his arms so they swirled inward in a spiral and two guns appeared in his hands. He pointed them and faked a shot. Then he blew on them and they disappeared. “My power is telekinesis. I like to play soccer with XiuMin and I like to sing. My pretty little partner is Sheea. She likes to stay pretty and don’t touch her feathers. They cut. My weapons are two guns that my parents crafted themselves together and made them so that I use my powers as bullets.” BaekHyun stepped up. “My power is light and I like to sing. My partner is that unusually big fox over there talking to ferrets. My weapon is a whip.” Everyone looked at him and he sighed. “Fine. I’ll show you.” He clapped his hands together and smoothed his hands over the air in front of him and snatched at the air. The whip appeared and he flicked his wrist, decapitating the chair beside him. The wolves gaped at the chair. The 6 hunters walked forward and crossed their arms and said at the same time, “We are Exo.” They wolves gaped at them. Then they smiled and walked up to them. “Guess we’re part of your group now.” They were about to head to the living room when the hunters froze. Then they shot out of the room. The wolves looked at each other questioningly and shot after them, turning into wolves as they ran. They arrived and stood next to their mates. Before them were 15 people. They all had the presence of supernaturals. One person broke off from the 15 and held his arms out. The werewolves shot forward to attack, but stopped when they saw the hunters run forward and hug the stranger. XiuMin tackling him with Tao, D.O and the others piling over them. They were all laughing and crying, hugging the man like he was their lifeline. The 14 people were smiling and looking at them. They put their hands up to wave and show that they meant no harm. The hunters dragged the man forward, never letting go. LuHan, who was clinging to his back, introduced him. “This is Leeteuk. He’s a white witch. He’s got the angel blessing. He said he’ll explain what he’s doing here and the whole story if we sit down and listen.” Kris nodded and smiled. He introduced each of them and led them inside. 2 of them stayed outside the door. They looked like they were waiting for something. Kris looked at them questioningly. The tall pale on laughed and smiled. “We have to be invited in. That’s one thing that’s not some stupid made up vampire thing. I’m ZhouMi.” The other vampire smiled, showing his fangs. “I’m Yesung.” Kris laughed, embarrassed. “Sorry. You may come in. I’m Kris.” They shook hands and went inside and led them all to the living room. They all sat and Kris gestured Leeteuk to start explaining. “Ok, so this is how we ended up here……..”

Flashback.
“you need my help?? Mine??? Why me??” Leeteuk looked at the man, surprised. The man smiled and said, “we’ll explain everything. But first calm down and take a seat. I’ll introduce us. I’m Kangin. I’m a werewolf. That dude playing video games is Kyuhyun, a sorcerer. That dude playing with a bunch of turtles and is sitting next to the bug habitat is Yesung, a vampire. That person playing the piano and looks like a chipmunk is Henry. He spoke to you in English. He’s a werewolf. The one over there punching the punching bag is Hankyung. He is also a werewolf. Siwon is the one reading a book. Before he was changed he was a total God worshipper, but now he can’t read or touch the bible. EunHyuk over there, the one dancing, is a shifter. And lastly, the one cooking dinner over there is ShinDong. He’s a werewolf. Now, down to business. You have the angel blessing, that’s one thing. The other thing is that I need you to call your other council members here. We need to talk.” Leeteuk looked at him sheepishly. “I think they’re coming already, and I don’t think they’re very happy about this.” Kangin looked at him, shocked. “What do you mean?? And even if they were they’d never find this place.” Leeteuk looked at him in apology. “if they break anything, I apologize in early, but I’m not gonna pay you anything.” The wall burst in and a lion came bounding in and everyone dropped their things and stared, shocked. The lion roared and pounced on the closest person: Kyuhyun. He cursed as he went down. Everyone was too shocked to say or do anything. A bunch of roots erupted from the ground and enveloped Yesung and caged him in. A small, cute teen stepped through the hole in the wall, eyes glowing. A blur appeared behind Henry and put him in a head lock. Henry shifted into a wolf and tried to bite his arm. The very tall male twisted out of the way and latched onto his torso so he couldn’t bite him. Hankyung dodged as a bolt of blue lightning shot from outside the hole. The light from the sun was too bright to see who it was. Hankyung shot out and tried to bite the attacker. The attacker cursed and put his hand on his face, launching himself over the wolf and flew over head, chanting and shooting lightning. A snake slithered quickly over the floor and wrapped itself around Siwon, holding him captive. He turned into a wolf and struggled with the snake. A brown wolf shot out of the hole in the wall and bit EunHyuk in the shoulder. He yelped and tried to fling him off. The whole living room was a catastrophe. Leeteuk looked at the mess and raised his hands, glowing a bright and pure white. His hands flashed and he yelled in a loud clear voice. “STOP!!! Sungmin, get off the poor boy. Ryeowook let him breath!! You’re killing him in there!!! ZhouMi stop banging his head into the piano keys!! Heechul stop flinging lightning like it’s a toy!! I thought I taught you not to waste energy!!!! Kibum, Donghae hold off. Stop suffocating the poor dude and Donghae I am not healing him. You are going to patch him up yourself.” Leeteuk sighed and rubbed his temple. Kangin looked at him, amused. He turned toward his fellow members. “Boys!! Fall back. They are not the enemy.” They all backed away from each other. “Now. Introduce yourselves and then we’ll sit down and talk about what happened and why we have your leader.” Leeteuk glared at them when they had smug looks on. “NOW.” They all ran and hugged him. “We’re so happy you are ok!!! Don’t you dare yell at us!!! We were scared to death!! You are never walking home by yourself ever again!!!!” the latter was crying. Leeteuk smiled gently. “Ok. I’m sorry Ryeowook. I wont, ok? Now we need to attend to the task at hand.” The council members turned toward the others and told them to introduce themselves first. “I’m Cho Kyuhyun. I’m a sorcerer who loves playing pranks and my video games. Which are broken thanks to someone.” “I’m Hankyung. I’m a werewolf and I like martial arts and I like to cook occasionally.” “I’m Yesung. I’m a vampire and I like turtles and bugs.” “I’m Henry. I speak English and 6 other languages. I’m a werewolf and I like to play the piano, but I think the keys are broken.” “I’m Siwon. I’m a werewolf that likes to read. I used to go to church, but that’s in the past.” “I’m Eunhyuk. I’m a shifter and I’m bleeding on my floor here!!! I need medical attention, like, right now!!!!” they ignored him and continued. “I’m Shindong and I was in the kitchen so I have no idea what happened in here, but I’m a werewolf. I like to cook.” Then the council members started to introduce themselves. “I’m Ryeowook. I apologize for almost suffocating you to death. I’m a witch.” He directed the 2nd sentence toward Yesung. The lion shifted back into a person, a cute, fluffy looking man. “Hi!!! I’m Sungmin. I’m a shifter! I’m sorry Kyuhyun for tackling you and breaking your video games.” “I’m Heechul. I’m a witch. I don’t want to apologize, but I have to for our little angel over there. I’m sorry Hankyung for almost zapping you to death.” “NiHao I’m ZhouMi. I’m a vampire and I’m sorry for banging your head constantly against the piano. No hard feelings Henry.” “I’m Kibum. I’m also a shifter and I apologize for crushing you. Sorry Siwon.” “I’m Donghae. I’m sorry for almost taking a chunk out of your shoulder, EunHyuk.” They all put aside their first meeting and sat down and talked over food. Kangin spoke up. “ok. So here’s the thing. I had to make drastic choices and here we are. An ancient evil is awakening and we need as many men that you have. They need to be trained. It’ll come in the end of next month, the solstice. But the main key is 12 people: your 6 hunters that recently disappeared and 6 werewolves. They are the bearers of the 12 powers of the Circle. They are the key to defeating the ancient evil. We need to go get them. We need help finding where they are. We can’t detect them anywhere. We need your help. When we get them we need to train them for what’s to come. This is urgent and they are the key to success. That’s all but it isn’t as simple as it sounds. Many may die, but it’s a sacrifice that is necessary. We’ll talk again tomorrow. We don’t have enough rooms, so you guys have to split and share rooms. What about the ones who attacked you guys can get to know each other?? Yea that’s a good idea. Dismissed. Be ready tomorrow to deploy.” They headed up to their rooms. It was a very interesting day.

Min_Chan here!! Do you guys like it so far??? The end is coming, the biggest decision of their lives. The next chapter(s) or so will be about Leeteuk and them. LOL.
