"Shorty~~~" Zelo called you in a sing-song tone while trying to run away from you who are getting annoyed with him. Zelo loves calling you name since it was hard to pronounce your name properly. He even made up around two to three nicknames just so he could call you whenever he like. 'Shorty' has officially became his favourite of all the nicknames he made up.

When asked why he would choose that nickname, he would always give that same lame reason that you are way shorter than him and that explain the nickname that he chose.

"Ya! Doesn't mean I'm shorter than you, you can bully me all you want okay! Where's your respect for a lady like me?" You shouted across the corridor of your school hallway where Zelo was standing. He turned around, catching his breathe and saw you giving up from chasing after him. He his heel and make his way back to your direction. 

"Why? Are you that short till you couldn't catch me up all the way? Ha ha, shorty~~" There he goes again. To annoy you more, he patted your head with his hand and ran away expecting you to go after him. You were tired and you didn't want to waste your energy running after someone. It just not worth it.

Being Zelo's bestfriend for almost three years in high school, you would always have to face this little 'mocking' session whenever you meet him. No matter how many times you beat him just so he could stop with all this calling of names, it was no use.

Chemistry lesson was pretty boring having to listen to your partner talking and talking and talking about her life. Adding up to the bias teacher who always picked on you whenever you day dream in class while she would ignore the rest of the students whenever they are in their own world. Zelo isn't in the same class as you since he didn't took Chemistry lesson since year 1.

"Tsk." MinAh clicked her tongue annoyed while looking at you. You turn to face her and gave her the 'what?' look. MinAh rolled her eyes and breathe out through , "You aren't listening to me are you?" You bit your bottom lip and shamelessly shooked your head agreeing that you had zone out the moment MinAh started to story tell you about her life.

She sighed once again and look at you, "I asked, are you and Zelo dating?" That question totally make you shoot up from your seat and you were completely awake that moment. You must have heard it wrongly, right? You faced MinAh and threw her the 'what-are-you-saying?' look and that you have successfully annoyed her to the level where she groaned and rolled her eyes at you. You couldn't help but to giggled at her reaction, a y girl will always be a y girl. 

"I. Repeat. Myself. Young. Lady." She spoke while pausing at each word she said, "Are you and Choi Junhong, dating? You're not telling me you guys aren't dating are you?" 

"I am not. I mean we aren't dating. Who told you? Where'd you get all that from? Why would you even believe those rumours?" You did not hear it wrongly, the words you heard a few moments ago have been repeated again. Oh, MinAh, why would you even say such things? You sighed silently.

"Like come on girl, everyone is talking about you both. The names he called you, bestfriend wouldn't call his own bestfriend 'Shorty'. I'm sure there is something more deeper meaning of it." You totally went confused at her words like as if the world just turned upside down. You frowned a million times hoping she could vanish from your sight and that you won't have to answer her nonsensical question.

What on earth? You and Zelo dating? Pfft, bestfriends can't date right? Or can we........? For someone who has no experience in love life before, you hate to think about such thing and decide to let this stuff sink in and slowly, forget it. Yeah, forget.

"Shorty~" You swear your stomach just did a back flip the moment you heard that name being called especially with that voice of the owner. Eversince what MinAh told you about the nickname he gave, you couldn't help but to hear that name being called differently. You turn around after having your first bite of your sandwich only to find Zelo walking and waving towards you. He threw himself next to you and stared at you like as if your face are made up of diamonds.

"Wot?" Your mouth were full of the sandwich which make it hard for you to speak properly. "Ha ha, so cute." Zelo giggled and look away. What does he meant cute? Your stomach was churning so badly and you thank God Zelo couldn't see it. After properly chewing the food and guggled half of the plain water, you asked him once again, "What? What do you want? You don't have art class?"

Zelo shooked his head and turn around to look at you once more. "Let's go eat together outside of school?" He asked all of a sudden which make you burst out the remaining liquid in your mouth before you could actually swallow it. Though Zelo and you have been bestfriends for three years, never in that time of span have he ever asked you out to eat together outside school.

'Those typical love story ain't happening now, right....?' You thought to yourself only to be nudge by Zelo.

"Please don't tell me you don't agree? Pwease." He begged you with his both palms together and pouted right infront of you so you could say yes. And that was the first ever time he showed you his aegyo. "Zelo, please. Why are you embarrassing me, stop with this cutesy thing ok?"

"Ok, let me be honest. I like you and I want to go out on a date with you, today, now, right now, this moment, this second. How about that?" You knew it this going to happen. Now this is what everyone's talking about. You couldn't help but to blush and agree to him just so you could get out from everyone's eyes around you.

"You know, you're so typical, Zelo."

"Call me, oppa."
