“Kris” said a young girl as she tried to say something to the man who held her captive. was dry and it certainly showed that she was dehydrated. She was sick and they didn’t know it.

Kris opened his eyes. It had been one day since he had held her captive in that warehouse. Suho and the others still didn’t have any clue on her whereabouts. She looked very pale. “Jae won, are you okay?” he asked and it was making her wondering who Jae won was. Why did Kris call her Jae won even though he knew for a fact that her name was Ji yon.

And for the first time, he was very nice to her. He touched her forehead and told her that she was sick. She was really sick. Her cheeks were flushed red due to the heat. She felt like she wanted to collapse in any seconds.

Ji yon was staring at him. He looked like he wanted to cry in any second. Why he would feel sad for her, she thought. “Don’t worry about me” she said as she was touched by his caring attitude. “Kris is actually feeling lonely” Ji yon thought. was bruised and the dried with blood.

He touched them. She itched in pain. She had not yet fully recovered from the wounds.

Kris undid the binds on her. He was struggled as he undid them. “It must be hurt. I’m sorry” Kris whispered lowly. “Why did he do this?” thought Ji yon as she looked at Kris. “Why would he release her from the binding? Wouldn’t he should be afraid that I will escape from here?”

My wrists were bruised to the ropes that bound me yesterday. I wanted to hug him. He looked like he needed one. Why would he being nice to me since he knew that it won’t bring him any good?

He soaked white towel in a basin filled with water. He twisted them dry. I couldn’t move any of my limbs. I felt numb everywhere. He looked at me with sad eyes from before.

Who was Jae won?

Was she important to him?

Why did Kris hate Suho very much?

What was Suho to him?

Are they related with each other?

All of these questions were exploding in my head when he wiped my dried lips. I was startled and confused.

As he applied a slight pressure on my lips, I was stunned by him for a moment. “I’m sorry that I hurt you. It just that you reminded me of someone that I should have forgotten long time ago” he said as he tried to avert his eyes from looking at her.

“Is she Jae won?” he was startled. The wet towel fell from his large hand.

I held his face and made him look at me in the eyes. “Kris, look at me”

Kris was looking at me. And I saw what I never thought I would.

He was crying.

I didn’t know what I should do since I had never ever seen a man crying.

“Kris, I’m here…You can cry all you want…” I said as I hugged him. I never knew what made him like this. But I thought it was okay to give my shoulder.

He hugged me back and cried as loudly as he could. “You should never forget the one who you loved the most” I said as I looked at him and continued “because that’s what it feels to be a human”

His eyes were red. He was smiling at me.

*dub dub*dub dub*

I had this strange feeling when I looked at him. I feel attracted to him and I didn’t know why.

*dub dub*dub dub*

“What is this feeling that I get right now?”

“Thank you for being nice to me, Ji yon” he sobbed. And that alone was enough to make me not afraid of him. To make me like him.
