“Please don’t kill me” pleaded a young girl. She was certainly a high schooler. She was begging for her life.

She was sitting on her knees. There was a gun pointing onto her head. She was looking at the man who pointed it to her. “Why did you do this?” she shouted. “I have no choice” he told her.

Tears were flowing from her agonised eyes. She despised him. The man she loved was sprawling in the corner of the cabin. He didn’t move at all. He was beaten the crap out of him.

She was writhing in pain as he slapped her. She was screaming. She didn’t care about it anymore.

There were bruises on her body. They were everywhere.

My eyes were opened when I heard her screaming. I wanted to move but I couldn’t. I felt useless.

My body was numb even I couldn’t lift a finger.

I was shocked to see that he was pointing a gun on her forehead. I wanted to shout at her to run away. But none escaped from my lips. I hated him very much.

“NO. Run. Run away from here. Leave me” I wanted to shout at her.

“Sorry, brother” said that man before he shot her head. She fell on the floor with her face facing me.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Without my consent, tears were streaming out of my cold eyes.

“Ji yon, where are you?” asked a black haired man who wore a black jacket, nervously. “It is entirely my fault. If I don’t follow any orders from my father that day, none of these would have happened”

I jolted up from my sleep. I looked at the surrounding. I saw Ji yon being tied on the chair. I looked at her like I was looking at my past. It hurt me so much.

Being reminded like that, made me feel like him. I was not a murderer. I reminded myself of that fact.

I walked to the sleeping girl. She was sleeping as if she didn’t have any worries while in fact she actually had.

I didn’t want to hurt her but my hatred to my brother was so great that I not knowingly had hurt her. I wanted to love her. I wanted to protect her from a man like me and Suho.

Because she looked so much like her.

I touched her face and kissed her forehead. Without a doubt, there were tears falling from my agonised eyes. Many people thought I didn’t have a heart. I used to have it once but it was broken by that certain someone. “I’m not a monster” I said as I knelt on my knees, examining her face.

“Jae- won, please be with me” I said as he touched her face softly and not with the harsh way that I had used that evening. “Sorry, that if I was too rough on you today”
