Chapter Fourteen
Can I continue feeling this way?
I returned his attack on my lips with a simple consequence for his impatience: a nip of his bottom lip. After hearing a little whimper, I ran the tip of my tongue ever so lightly over the tender flesh, feeling him shiver in return. I could feel him hesitate as the effect rippled through his body, causing him to momentarily forget all of his senses. We both took this chance to restock our air supply. I put my forehead on his and attempted to calm my racing heart.
“Kris gege…” Tao said through slow breaths “I… like you.”
He kept his eyes down and stopped breathing. Feeling him halt like this, I did the same. No sounds were made for the next few seconds, the younger anxiously anticipating my response.
I brought my fingertips to his chin, and gently lifted his head up. His cheeks burned red, the effect of which I could feel simply through my fingertips. I bent down and kissed him as passionately as I possibly could, each nerve of mine sending him waves of genuine affection. I did not think there was need for a response after that, but I spoke up just in case.
Breaking apart from the kiss, yet still resting my lips on his, I repeated the same words back to him. Not even a second later did I feel his tense muscles relax. His lips curled into a smile, pleased at my response.
We both leaned in for a final kiss, each one showing the other how true his feelings were.
“What do you want to do today?” I asked Tao. “It is our final day together…” I looked up and over and trailed off, not wanting to remember the fact that
we return to work tomorrow.
“Mmm… Anything really. It doesn’t matter as long as I do it with you.” The teen blushed at the words that just left his mouth. He was definitely not used to being so open with his feelings, but I guess he was just like me: he could be himself without fear when around me, as I could be the same with him.
I responded only with a smile, for I did not know what we should do. Yes, it was a simple thing to figure out, but considering that it is our last day, I did not want to just sit around the house and do nothing. I want to make it memorable.
Then, I got the perfect idea.
My eyes darted back to him and a sly smile crept upon my face.
He looked up at me questioningly.
“Let’s go to Disneyland.”
His eyes almost immediately lit up.
“Really?” He was so excited, and I hadn’t even said everything we could do there.
“Yeah! Have you ever been there before?” I asked the boy.
“No. I’ve never been to any theme park of any sort.”
My eyes went wide.
“Seriously!? Tao, you’re missing out. There’s roller coasters, swing rides, water rides, cotton candy, and best of all, life-size creatures walking around.” Another sly smile crept upon my lips. Since Tao had never been there before, he would believe me when I say those life-size creatures are real.
Let’s have some fun with this.
I hid my devilish thoughts and focused back to the boy. His eyes were wide with amazement. It made my day. When Tao was with all of the other boys during the day or simply during practice, he was always so stoic. Yet, when he was with me, his soft, childish side showed through. It was quite a sight to see, actually.
I put my arm around his shoulder and started to walk him towards his room. “C’mon. We’ll have to leave soon if you want to try out everything there. Pack a bag of extra clothes and snacks incase you get wet and don’t like the food they serve, okay? Meet me in the common room when you’re done.” I gave him a reassuring smile and a light kiss on the forehead before I left. Since I was the leader, I could pretty much do anything I want, including random trips to amusement parks. I called the manager and asked him if it was okay, saying that we had been cooped up in the house so long that we were going to go crazy if we didn’t get out soon, and he said okay. I mean, that was true, but I just wanted to get out to spent time with Tao.
But the managers didn’t need to know that.
After I packed my own two bags of clothes and snacks, (the snacks in one bag and clothes in the other), I sat on the couch and waited for him. There was no need to bring a camera, for I’m sure we would be followed soon enough by more than a few fangirls glued to theirs. I bet we would find ourselves on the internet not even an hour later.
Not that I minded.
Oh the , lustful things some of them say. They think I don’t understand, but trust me when I say I do. Some of those comments make me blush beyond oblivion.
“I’m ready.” I heard from behind me. The vocal disruption brought me out of my thoughts, turning my attention to the voice. Standing there was the damn near cutest boy I had ever seen. Yes, it was Tao, but the excitement in his eyes was enough to make my day for generations. I was smiling ear to ear, and probably looked like a bubbly idiot, but I didn’t care.
This was definitely going to be memorable.
I picked up my bags and put my arm around him once more. I quickly checked to see if he did have everything, and tightened my arm around him to bring my lips to his head once more.
“Kaja.”
