Lee Ji Eun's POV

It's been a crazy months with BTS promotion on going, releasing my single and making a new track. Everything passed in a blur. I don't get to meet Yoon Gi and the other BTS members that much due to their crazy schedule. I worried about their health, but they always said that they were fine. I hope that was true though. 

I ended up release my song under the name IU. Jungkook was the one who came up with that name. The name IU was deriving from the phrase 'I and You'. Jungkook said that it symbolize the force of music between people. I like his suggestion and Bang PD seemed to like it too, that's how we ended up using IU as my stage name. 

The response of my debut single was better than I expected. So much better if I could say that. The song became a big hit right after it released and topped many digital charts, even neck to neck with BTS's. As a newcomer, without a name, and even without a face, it was a big accomplishment. Now, IU becomes the hot topic everyone's talking about, the media keep talking about who's the person behind it. They have a few guesses of course, for example, an ex unpopular idol who try to gain popularity, an actress who secretly good at singing, hidden trainee of Bighit and some peoples even speculate that the person behind IU was very ugly and that's the reason for her not showing her face. It was hilarious for me to read all of the comments. 

The members were really supportive about my debut. I don't know how Yoon Gi know that I love chocolate, but he sent me a box of chocolate on the day I release my song. 

Jungkook and Taehyung for some reason beg Bang PD to make a duet song with me. I don't know why they want it so badly. I mean, it was just me. But Bang PD seemed to have other ideas, he wanted Jin to do it instead. I think it would be a great choice. Jin has a great voice but he didn't get to show it much and I would be very honour to have a duet with him.

Taehyung thought it was unfair and he kept pestering me about it, so I ended up promise him to write another duet song for him. Not now of course, I already have a lot on my plate right now.

On the other hand, Jungkook was helping me making this track, Bang PD thought it would be great for him to practice his music producing skill. So he always visit my studio in between his hectic schedules to brainstorm with me. I was kind of worried about him, but I could tell that he was really passionate about making music. I think he will be really great someday.

It was Thursday morning. Jungkook and I are sitting on my studio to brainstorm about the concept of this duet song. He'll have a schedule at 12 pm, so we have to finish before that. 

"Noona, what do you think about this concept?" Jungkook showed me his paper. It's full of scibbles and scratches that he wrote. 

I took the paper and scanned it. "Nagging?" I mumbled. 

Jungkook nodded, full of anticipation.

"Okay, tell me."

"I think, IU has this innocent and pure image, that's why I want this song to be sweet yet romantic." I could see him blushing slightly while explaining. What a cute kid. "Well, I didn't have any experience myself. But I thought that couples usually have a little fight, and that's made their relationship stronger. I wanted to make the song while thinking about that."

I reread some of the lyrics that he wrote. "Wow.. This is better than I thought." 

His lips twitched into a smile. 

"Though it need some slight change. Give me a pen."

He handed me a pen without questioning anything. 

I start dribbling the paper, made a slight change on some part that I thought needed it. 

"Here." I handed him the lyrics satisfyingly. 

He took the lyrics and looked at them thoroughly. 

"Wow.." He said with an unbelievable tone. "Noona, you filled in the parts I was stuck just now, even the phrase I couldn't think properly, you amend them. It looked perfect now."

He sighed after putting down the paper. "I wish I was a genius like you or Suga hyung or Namjoon hyung."

"I think your work is not bad Kook ah, you have the talent. You just need to practice more, and I'm not a genius by the way, I just work hard to do my best."

"I wish I had more confident like you." He smiled bitterly.

I grabbed his hand and rubbed the back of his hand with my thumb. "You have to believe in yourself, or at least believe in me who believes in you."

He gave me a strange look, like he was staring deeply into my soul, then suddenly he grabbed my hand and put my palm on his cheeks. I was taken aback for a moment.

"Thank you noona." He snuggled into my palm. 

"Aigooo.. Uri Jungkook." I patted his cheeks lightly. 

He lowered my hand slowly but still holding it, I let him. I was kind of used to his clingy behavior by now. He was an introvert kid, but he likes to be touchy with people that he's close with. Maybe I'm one of them. "Noona, are you sure you don't want to debut as a singer? You're really talented, you know. Besides IU was a big hit, I'm sure you'll be very popular."

"I'm not interested to be a celebrity. But I don't know if I might change my mind in the future. For now, I was happy the way it is."

"If you say so. Just to let you know, I'm always be your number one fans."

"Army probably would cry if they heard you, but it was a honoured for me to have an international superstar as my fans." I ruffled his hair. 

He grinned from ear to ear. 

After that we continue our discussion until it was the time for him to leave for his schedule. Sejin oppa, BTS's manager, came to pick him up. 

"Jungkook ah, it's time to leave." Sejin oppa informed.
