Carnival Day II
The Girl Who Never CryLISA POV
“Winner, Mokbang Highschool!”
“You guys really got us worried for nothing,” I smiled to myself and happily clapped for Hanbin’s team too.
“I can’t believe how fast the table turned,” The stranger behind me told his friend in awe.
“I know right, I thought our school is going to win all the sets,”
That made me realized I was actually watching with the other school’s team section instead of my own school. No wonder that Hanbin and his team didn’t come to this particular side to celebrate just now.
“Yah, why is he staring here? Is he trying to provoke us for our lost??” The stranger behind me nudge his friend and I ended up looking at what they’re talking about. To my surprised, my eyes met Hanbin’s so I instantly look away.
“Did he saw me? No way,” I said to myself and fix my hoodie cap, hoping that it will hide my face from his view even though I have no idea why I did that. Embarrassed, I slowly made my way out from the court area.
“Ah it’s hot,” I sighed as I put off my cap. Maybe mom is right, I shouldn’t have wear something like this especially in a crowded place.
“Let’s ask Jimin out to the carnival!”
I immediately flinched at that loud voice coming from behind. It’s Sora and her gang.
“Yah, that person look familiar? Isn’t that the cold hearted girl?” I gulped nervously at Sora’s remarks.
“Eyy no way she would come to this place. That is so pathetic for someone like her,” And they laugh out loud. Letting out a small sigh of relief, I then hurriedly put on my hoodie cap back and leave to the bus stop without any second thought.
ZZZT. ZZZT.
Hanbin: You came. I saw you from the court.
My eyes widened at his chat. So he did saw me just now.
Hanbin: Did you already went home?
Before I could reply, he already send another chat. It’s a picture of a ticket.
“Trolls.?”
Hanbin: I have extra tickets for this movie. Do you want it?
Again, before I could type any reply, he already send another chat.
Hanbin: Don’t get me wrong, you’re not watching it with me or anything like that. I just thought it would go waste if I just throw it away.
I paused for a second. No matter how I think of it, something doesn’t feel right..
Hanbin: You can reject if you want.
“What’s with him?” I tilted my head in confusion. Is this a prank? He is being weird, again.
Hanbin: Where are you now?
Lisa: I’m already at the bus stop.
I ended up replying it without thinking much. Well, maybe he will change his mind if he know I’m about to go home.
Hanbin: I’m on my way.
“What?” That surprised me.
