Chapter 11: The Meeting (EDITED)

Lisa took a bite of the bread she bought from the café just now as her eyes roamed randomly at her surroundings. Anyone could tell that she was bothered by something but the one who noticed it first is Rose.

“Rose, what time is it now?” Lisa asked for the fourth time. This time, Rose didn’t answered her but gave Lisa a weird look instead.

“What?” Lisa asked, noticing Rose’s face.

“That is the fourth time you asked, Lisa.” Rose replied, making it obvious she already fed up answering Lisa every time.   

“What is it? Is there anywhere you need to go right now or something?”

“No, I was just asking” Lisa answered, avoiding Rose’s gaze.

Not good. I can’t get him out of my head after what he said to me. My mom? What’s with my mom? How do he even know my mom? Mom never said anything to me except we’re neighbours and his family owns a big farm.

“If only he tells me on the spot, I wouldn’t be intensely bothered like this,” Lisa muttered in annoyance.

“Beat it, I don’t want to be alone with him anymore,”

“Yah Lalisa Manoban,” Rose turned around, looking at Lisa with determination.

“If it really bothers you that much, isn’t it better for you to just confront it once and for all and save you from your own misery?? I think that’s way better than you sitting here and just sighing all day” Rose told her. Knowing Lisa, Rose knew Lisa sometimes need a little push before she could make up her mind. Lisa remained still, glancing at Rose unsurely.

“Should I?” Lisa asked hesitantly and Rose replied with a nod.

“I just hope I won’t regret this later,” Lisa sighed before stands up and heads for the class exit.  

“I’ll be back,” Lisa said to Rose second before she disappeared from Rose’s view.

“You better tell me what is this all about!” Rose replied with a satisfied smiled. She then continue to eat her lunch happily but her peaceful lunch didn’t stay long.

“Yah!” Someone called out at Rose and all of a sudden, she was surrounded by three girls who were staring at her intensely. It was Sora and her two best friends, Chaeyoung and Ga in.

“What do you want?” Rose glared back, obviously pissed at them for interrupted her lunch.

 “Heol, you bi*ch” Sora scoffed before she slam her hand on Rose’s table as she said furiously, “Someone told me you shared your umbrella with Jimin oppa yesterday” Sora begin.

“How dare you..Do you want to die?!” Sora glared becomes more intense but it didn’t scared Rose.

“He was the one who grabbed on my umbrella!” Rose countered.
