Chapter 12 (EDITED)

“You’re here!” Taehyung exclaimed loudly at the sight of Lisa. Lisa on the other hand didn’t look that pleased to see Taehyung. Taehyung’s face when he saw herself made Lisa slightly feel weird. No one ever look that excited to see her. His reaction even beat Rose’s.

“Please, have a seat!”

“No thanks. Make it quick. What’s with my mom?” Lisa said coldly, crossing her arms.

“It won’t be long, I promised”

“Just say it!” Lisa urged and Taehyung couldn’t afford to argue more.

“This, I need you to taste something,” He replied bitterly.

“Taste?” She looked at him, puzzled.

“Could you please take a sit first? My neck is hurting” Taehyung complained.

“You better have a good explanation for this” She hissed and took a seat. Lisa intentionally put a big gap between both of them but ignoring her obvious intention, Taehyung casually move closer to her, handing Lisa a pair of chopsticks. Lisa remained silence and just stares at Taehyung, waiting for explanation.

“Tada!” Taehyung then revealed the kimchi and just like what happened before, a strong smells immediately filled up the air.

“Ugh!” Lisa jerks away.

“Are you sure that is edible?” She frowned, fanning the smells away from her face.

“Of course! This is my mom’s homemade kimchi,” Taehyung explained excitedly. “So the thing is, your mom ordered some kimchi from us the other day”

“My mom did?” Lisa replied, surprised. Her mom didn’t mentioned anything to her.  

“You didn’t know? Our kimchi is the best in this town!”

“So?” Lisa replied, didn’t looked amused and that makes Taehyung bitter. 

“How come you didn’t know about that? Geez”

“What does it have to do anything with me?”

“Because your mom asked me to give this to you” Taehyung answered and Lisa raised an eyebrow.

“Your mom came to our shop the other day but our kimchi was sold out. She said her daughter has been craving for it so that’s why I brought it for you today”

Lisa didn’t instantly answer but stares at Taehyung suspiciously. Firstly, she did craved for kimchi the other day but she have no idea her favourite kimchi was made by Taehyung’s mom.  Second, that happened quite some time ago so Lisa what Taehyung said makes no sense to her.

“Don’t get me wrong. I’m doing this for the sake of my family business,” Taehyung cleared his throat.

“I didn’t crave for kimchi anymore,” Lisa replied.
