Chapter 13

Ailee's POV

I arrived school this morning and when I stepped inside our room, I noticed that Amber is already there. She's here early.

"Hey Am, are you sure you're already well?" I walked up to her and touched her forehead.

"Yes, I feel so much better. Thanks a lot, Ailee... For taking care of me." She held my hand.

I blushed madly.

"I-It's nothing. Here, I finished your other half of the project. I did it yesterday while you were asleep." I handed her the folder.

"Omo, you didn't have to Ailee. I was just gonna tell Ms. Lee and ask for extra time. But thank you for doing this for me. I owe you a lot." She looked in my eyes.

"You don't owe me anything, Amber. I want to do these for you. I-- I'm in love with you." I confessed.

Her jaw dropped, obviously surprised with what I just said. 

Amber's POV

What in the hell did she just say?

My jaw dropped and my eyes widened in surprise.

"Ailee, I..." 

Nothing came out.

"I..."

"Good morning guys! You're here early today! What's up?" Luna chirped out of nowhere.

I slightly jumped at Luna's voice.

"Hey Lun, nothing much, we're just checking our project if it's all set for submission." Ailee spoke.

I stayed silent. Thankfully, Luna and Ailee started chatting and I was left alone.

She what? She loves me?

Ailee's really nice and she has done a lot for me. She has great personality, she's pretty too. And man, she's an amazing singer. Anyone could easily fall for her. 

Why didn't I notice it? Why didn't I realize it earlier? I guess I got my eye somewhere else. Or someone. But Ailee's been good to
