The moment Shinyoung opened her eyes, she felt the coldness of the weather creeping up her skin. It felt so cold, she didn't have the slightless feel of falling back to sleep. She got out from her bed and head straight out of her room, it was a little too early. From afar, she could tell that her brother was still soundly asleep as his bedroom door was completely shut.

Growing bored, she decided to head to the kitchen as that section is what the princess could describe as warm. She didn't forget to grab her wool blanket and wrapped it around her body. She never favour winter that much as it has always been cold, your movements are restricted too.

Shinyoung walked along the empty hallway, it was slightly dark as it was still dawn, the lights are still off too. When she reached the kitchen, the maids immediately greeted her and she smiled back. She told them to get back to what they were doing and they obeyed. The Princess however, did not stay still but decided to busy herself with them.

She wanted to do something so that she wouldn't feel cold just by sitting around. Of course, the maids opposed at first, but after several pleadings and whinings they had to agree with the Princess. In the end, they gave her the simplest job they could think of. That happened to be chopping the potatoes. Shinyoung didn't mind, she enjoyed it although it was hard.

"May, could you go and get some firewood from the shed?" the head of maids asked. Shinyoung ears perked as soon as she heard that, she felt the sudden excitement to go outside although it was freezing cold.

"Can I come?" Shinyoung tried her luck, she knew they wouldn't let her. "Absolutely no, milady. You might catch a cold." the head maid stated. "Oh, just this once. I have never been to the shed." she pleaded with a sad expression. The maids looked at each other before the eldest finally sighed.

"You may follow her, but return at once." she gave in. Shinyoung smiled in victory and grabbed her wool blanket before following the maid named May outside. As soon as the door opened, she was shock to see the garden was covered in all white. Of course yesterday was freezing cold, but she wasn't expecting it to snow this fast.

The cold outside was worse, Shinyoung could feel herself shivering as the wind blew through her bones. She forced a laugh because she still wanted to go outside, curse her curiousity for today.
