RunIt was late night and there was still no sign of the Princess. Seungkwan couldn't sit still, he was in distressed. He didn't know which part of the woods he was currently at, he didn't know how much the minutes had passed, he didn't know where Shinyoung was. He searched in every nook and cranny but there was no sign of his sister at all and it worried him.
"This can't do." the two knights heard their leader spoke. They were about to separate and searched further but stopped at the elder's sentence. "What is?" Mingyu asked as he took a step closer to their leader. "The Princess will never be found in this way," Seungcheol paused for a moment and looked at the taller. Mingyu stood there confused and look at him.
"Use your wolf form."
"That's absurd! The Prince is here." Minghao said in a soft but alarming voice. He couldn't possibly risk their identities, especially not in front of the Prince. Mingyu too agreed, it was just too risky. What will happen to all their efforts of hiding their identities?
"It's either that, or the Princess is dead." Seungcheol stated, his eyes looked cold. The two younger boys gulped at his statement, it was true they had to admit but was it really worth it? The two looked at each other and thought about it for a while, it was a huge deal and they have to think it through. After a moment, Mingyu decided to agree as he was the best tracker among the knights.
He closed both of his eyes and shape-shifted into a grey coloured wolf. Seungcheol watched as the knight sprinted into the woods to find the Princess. Minghao on the other hand was slightly worried if the Prince might actually caught them. He kept looking around for any signs of the Prince but luckily there was none.
However, what they didn't know was the Prince was standing closely from them. He saw every single thing, he heard everything. The only thing he didn't know was what should he do?
"I don't understand." Shinyoung said and look at all of them in the eyes, "I cannot help you, it was a mistake." she said. It had been over minutes, hours? She couldn't tell, but they were getting this clear for a long period of time. The wolves kept insisting that she was the only one who could help them with the hidrance they're facing right now.
"Your Highness, it's not a mistake. We don't make mistakes." the male named Jisoo, who happened to be the one kidnapping her from the balcony, tried to make it clear to her. However, the Princess didn't want to accept her fate. It didn't seem right to her, how could she possibly help these people retreive their justice from 20 years ago?
"Bu-"
"It's useless! She doesn't want to accept her fate." the long-haired male named Junghan stood from where he was sitting and shot her with a cold glare. He was frustrated, out of all the boys he was the desperate one to reveal the truth and let all the faults' receive their punishment once and for all. However, seeing the situation he felt as is all hopes were going away.
"It's not my f
