Packing
You Got MeCho Hee had stopped by the dorm, excited about MinHee’s acceptance for the drama, and brought the girls dimsum as a snack. Of course, seeing the dimsum reminded Cora that she was supposed to meet Mark at the movies. She had made plans to meet him at three. It was two forty five, and she had no excuse to leave the dorm.
She turned to MinHee. “I’m going to go pick some stuff up, I’ll be back in a bit, okay?”
MinHee’s eyes narrowed. “What kind of stuff?”
“The kind of stuff that I need, and that’s none of your business.” Cora joked, smiling at her friend, who didn’t smile back. She knew MinHee was getting suspicious, but she couldn’t tell her about Mark. They’d decided to keep their relationship a secret for a reason. The band wouldn’t be happy about them being back together, and they both knew it. “I promise I’ll be back before it’s dark, okay?”
MinHee sighed. “I leave for China tomorrow morning, with Jackson, and you promised to help pack.”
“I said I’d be back before it gets dark. I’ll be here, okay? Just… chill out.” She said, standing and moving towards the door. She slid her feet into her plaid Vans, and opened the door of the apartment. “Text me if you need anything, okay?” She said, closing the door and hurrying down the hallway. She leapt into the elevator, which Jimin who was on his way to the ground floor, and smiled. “Where you headed?” She asked, looking him over for a second. He was dressed relatively nice, and he was on their side of the dorm.
The female side of the dorms.
“What are you doing over here, anyways?” Cora asked before he could answered.
Jimin flushed. “I was going to take Ji-su out for a late lunch but… she told me she was busy now and couldn’t go.”
Cora’s brow furrowed. “Why? She’s not really-” She stopped. Throwing Ji-su under the bus would not solve her problems with Ji-su at the moment. She laughed a little and shook her head. “Have you ever thought that she was playing hard to get?” Jimin looked confused. “Well, maybe you should play hard to get back. Make it seem like you’re not really interested in whether or not she wants to go anyways.”
Jimin made a face. “How exactly is that supposed to work? Don’t I want her to think I want to be with her?”
Cora shrugged. “Do whatever you’ve got to do, I’m just giving small pointers.”
Jimin laughed. “Small?” Cora nodded. “I don’t think it’ll work, but I’ll try it.” And Cora would try talking to Ji-su. “Where are you going?”
Cora shrugged. “Out.”
He smirked. “Secret date?”
“Maybe.”
“With Mark-”
“Jimin,” Cora sighed. “I don’t know what you don’t understand about the fact that he and I are never going to date again.” She frowned. “He broke up with me for a reason.”
“He could change his mind.”
He had. But
