Telling that Victoria is back and already knows about Donghae’s relationship with Saenim leave a mark of shock in Donghae’s frozen face. I shook his shoulder lightly and asked,

“What are you thinking Donghae?”

“What did I do Hyung…” he whispered.

“What do you mean?” I asked. But he didn’t respond. I asked him again but there was only silence. I think about what he might be thinking when I suddenly burst out of anger when I finally realize what he really meant.

“You’re not thinking what I’m thinking right?!” I said in gritted teeth.

“Hyung…” he whispered.

“Tell me!!” I shouted.

“I’m sorry...I didn’t want to do it ‘coz I promise you but Vic…” then I punched him in his face.

“Damn! This is not just Victoria Hae!”

“I know… But I don’t want to see her in pain.”

“See her in pain? How about Saenim? What about her pain?! You should know that Victoria will come back for you before you set your foot on Saenim.”

“I know it Hyung. The truth is, I really love Saenim. She’s the one who fill up the empty space inside me when I’m longing for Victoria. I was blinded by that emptiness. But when you said the Victoria is back, my vision become clear again and my strong feelings for her suddenly arose.” he said.

“You’re an idiot!”

“This is the best way. I’d rather take Saenim’s hatred than Victoria’s. Because if I wouldn’t do this, I will just hurt both of them.” he explains himself.

“Why do you say that?” I asked.

“Because I know you’ll support Saenim if I choose Victoria. But if I choose Saenim, who do you think will support Victoria? She’s an orphan and the only people she knew she can trust is Narsha, you, me and Leetek-Hyung.”

“I can’t believe you’re saying that.” I calmly said.

“Neither do I. This decision is hard for me. But I know I need to do it before it’s too late, before I hurt them more.” Donghae said before he walked out of my room.

Then I alone again. I lay down on my bed trying to shake off all the thoughts that are coming in my mind. Thoughts about Saenim, Donghae and Narsha. Thoughts that give me a headache.

“No matter what happened, I will sure protect and support Saenim.” I mumble to myself before I close my eyes.
