Chapter 27: Tour

“We are.” Mark said.

Everyone started to look at me.

“It’s not real right?” Keiko said.

I looked at them then I looked at Mark.

“You promised you’re going to wait.” Baldwin said.

*flashback*

“But you know that I have a girlfriend.” Baldwin said.

“I know. I know I’m not the one you want. I know that we’re not meant to be. But I promise you, I’m going to wait. I’m going to wait until my heart voluntarily quits.” I told Baldwin.

“Then wait for me.” he said.

*end of flashback*

Everyone suddenly looked at Baldwin.

“What do you mean?” Mark said.

“She promised to me that she’s going to wait for me.” Baldwin said.

Mark looked at me.

“Hey, I think this conversation is not going right.” Anne said.

“You promised him something?” Mark said.

I looked at Mark. It seems like he’s mad.

I looked back at Baldwin.

“I think you forgot something. I told you that I’ll wait for you.” I said.

“Yes, you promised.” Baldwin said.

“Yes, I told you that I’m going to wait for you.” I said. Mark held my hand so tight. “Until my heart voluntarily quits.”

I then looked at Mark. “And my heart voluntarily quit when I met someone.”

Baldwin smiled, “So that’s it.”

And he went out.

“I’ll just follow him.” I said.

Mark held my hand, “Don’t”

“Please, I just need to fix this thing.” I said.

“Let her go for a bit.” Anne said.

Mark let my hands go and I followed Baldwin.

“Yah, Pinsan.” I said.

He didn’t stop. He continued walking. I ran to him and immediately held his arms.

“Yah, why are you like that?” I asked him.

“I never thought that you would give up on me that easy.” he said.

The moment I heard his words, it hurts me.

“You didn’t even dare to know my answer. I wanted to contact you for 4 years but I’m afraid that you might not answer me back.” he said.

He looked at me.

“I broke up with her the moment I realized that you’re the one I love but I was afraid so I was not able to tell it to you.”

I can’t believe what I am hearing right now. I don’t know what to say.

He loved me back and I was so foolish to not recognize it.

“I’m sorry I didn’t fight for you.” he said. He then tapped me, “Be happy.”

Then he left. I don’t know how to comfort him but it hurts to see him go. I loved him but I have Mark now.

“I’m sorry.” that’s the only thing I have said.

I went back to them and saw them having fun.

Loidmar suddenly tapped Mark’s back.

“I know you’re taller than me.” he said. Then everyone laughed. “Everybody quiet.”

“Let’s give the moment to Loidmar.” Keiko said.

“Ahem, ahem.” Loidmar said. “She has been through a lot. I hope you’ll not hurt her.”

“I know you’re just dating. But, please don’t give her headaches or any kind of pain. She’s fragile.” Loidmar said.

“Yah Bestfriend, you’re so corny.” I said.

“It’s not being corny, it’s being real.” he said.

“Don’t worry. I won’t.” Mark said then he looked at me.

“Yah, why is everybody staring like that? I mean, we’re still on the dating process. We’re not yet on the girlfriend-boyfriend relationship.” I said.

“Sus. It’s going to end there too.” Anne said.

I just smiled at them.

We had some small chats. They were also able to take picture with us and the other casts of Dream High 3. After our break, we started shooting again. My friends went home already. They said they still need to do something.

After a very tiring shooting, we’re going to have a short tour here. We went inside our bus.

I was there beside the window then Mark suddenly sat beside me. Then he smiled. I just smiled at him and looked back to the window.

I texted Loidmar.

To: Loidy Bestfriend

Please tell Baldwin, I’m sorry. It seems like we’re not meant to be. I’m sorry I became so afraid too.

He then replied.

From: Loidy Bestfriend

Don’t worry. He’ll understand. Just be happy. I don’t want you to be sad huh? Smile. Don’t think about it anymore. We’ll manage.

I just smiled at him.

We now went to Manila Ocean Park.

“This place seems familiar.” Jimin said. “Unnie have you been here?”

We’re in front of the Quirino Grandstand.

“Oh, yeah. This is where I performed before.” I told Jimin.

“The one with millions of people?” she asked.

“Yes.” I said.

“You performed here?” Mark asked.

“Uh, yes. I performed here before.” I said.

Then we entered Manila Ocean Park.

We have a lot of guards just in case fans come near. I can see a lot of fans here holding their cameras. Mark just keeps on smiling at them.

We entered the oceanarium. I’ve been here before but it seems like it’s my first time. Haha.

We saw a lot of fishes and other sea creatures. We also took some pictures there.

“Rhianne-a, do you like fishes?” Taehyung asked me.

“Not that much. I’m not really into pets.” I said. “Uhm, by the way, when we were in the airport, it seems like you’re not on the mood. Why? Is there something wrong?”

“I liked someone but she doesn’t like me.” he said.

“Is that it?” I asked.

“Yeah, just that. It’s just that, she’s making me feel that we had a chance but ended up with nothing.” he said.

“I don’t know who that girl is but all I can say is maybe she has a reason or maybe she doesn’t know that she’s giving you ‘something’. Maybe for her it’s just a friendly gesture.” I said.

“Yeah, a friendly gesture.” Taehyung said.

Then he walked out. Taehyung started to become cold to me. I don’t know why.

After a few minutes of tour inside the oceanarium,

“Let’s eat everyone!” JYP said.

We went to the restaurant inside Manila Ocean Park.

“So what should we order?” JYP said. “Ah! How about tuna? Is everybody fine with tuna?”

Oh no. I’m allergic with tuna.

Mark raised his hands.

“Oh yes Mark.”

“Rhianne is allergic with tuna.” he said.

Oh, he remembered? O.o

He smiled at me.

“Oh? Really? Okay so let’s just choose other meals.” JYP said.

He is really listening to what I say before. He remembered that I do not eat tuna.

We then eat a lot. After eating, staffs were having a short meeting.

“Haven’t you notice something?” I said to Mark.

“Notice what?” he said.

“Taehyung is being cold to me. He’s not the usual Taehyung I knew.” I said.

Mark suddenly looked somewhere else.

“Maybe he has a problem.” Mark said.

“I know he has. I want to comfort him.” I said.

Mark just looked at me. “Can I?” I asked.

He just stared at me. “Oh please.” I said.

“I’m not your boyfriend so you can do anything you want.” he said coldly.

“But you’re mad.” I said.

“I’m not mad. I promise.” then he raised his right hand.

“Whatever.” I said then I turned my back.

He suddenly hugged me and whispered something.

“Just don’t do something that will make me jealous.” he said.

I just smiled at him. I went to Taehyung who is all alone in the corner.

“Yah.” I said. “Why are you so alone?”

“Nothing.” he said.

“Are you mad at me?” I asked.

He just stared at me.

“So you’re mad at me. Why?” I said.

He didn’t talk.

“Did I do something?” I asked him and still no response from him.

I suddenly made a hand puppet, “Okay puppet so I’m just going to talk to you.” I said.

“Yeah.” I said with the puppet’s voice.
