Chapter 21: Good Mornight!

I looked at him and it was Mark.

“Why?” I said.

Mark looked at Taehyung. “Can I borrow her for a bit?”

“Oh, it’s fine. We’re just talking.” Taehyung said.

Mark pulled me.

“Is there something wrong? Or do you want to tell something?” I asked him.

Mark is acting kinda weird today.

“I’m hungry. Let’s eat.” he said.

“Is that all?” I asked.

He nodded, “Yes”

Mark is really kinda weird today. I don’t know why. Oh well. I accompanied Mark in the food stall here and we ate some foods there. After eating, we went back to the dorms and rested.

Finally, I can feel my bed. Wooh! I’m soooo tired today!

1am the next day…

*knock knock*

Is someone knocking?

*knock knock*

I opened my eyes and looked at my phone. It’s 1am and someone is knocking. Can’t he know that everyone else is sleeping?

*knock knock*

Fine. I’m going out.

I rose up my bed and fixed myself first before going out. I opened the door.

“What do you—Oh, there’s no one?” I said.

I looked at my left. There’s no one. Then I looked at my right.

“Mark hyung?” I said.

He suddenly looked.

“Did I interrupt your sleep?” he asked.

“Kinda. But what’s the problem? It’s 1am and you’re still here wide awake.” I said.

“I can’t sleep.” he said.

“Do you need someone to talk to?” I asked.

He nodded to me.

“Since I’ll not be able to return to my sleep…”

“I’m very sorry for interrupting your sleep. You may return now.” he said.

“No. I won’t be able to sleep again. I have sleeping disorders. Haha. Plus, you need someone to talk to and I think it’s now my time to listen.” I said.

I went out of our dorm.

“So, where do you want to go?” I asked.

“Backstage?” he said.

“Backstage will definitely be fine.” I said.

We started walking until I realized, I was wearing shorts.

“Uh-oh.” I said.

Mark looked at me, “Why?”

“Just wait for a minute. I just need to go back to the dorm.” I said.

I immediately ran to our dorm and I immediately put my jogging pants on. After that, I went back to where I left Mark.

“I’m back. Sorry.” I said.

“Uh, so you changed clothes?” he asked.

“I really don’t wear shorts when going outside. I’m not comfortable with it. I prefer to wear pants or skirts as long as it’s not that short.” I said.

“So you’re kinda conservative.” he said.

“Haha. Now you know another thing about me.” I said.

He smiled at me.

Ugh. That smile always kills me. My heart started to beat fast again.

“So if I were to buy you clothes, I won’t buy you short clothes. I’ll always buy long clothes.” he said then he laughed.

“Yah, that’s not what I meant. What I mean is that, I don’t usually wear clothes that will let other people see my body. I don’t need clothes that are too long. ‘Too much always kills’ so I just want the normal ones.” I said.

We arrived at the backstage where he first saw me cry.

“I can still remember the moment when you first saw me cry.” I said. “Yah, why can’t sleep by the way? Is there something wrong?”

He sat down to the same place where he sat when I cried.

“I just can’t sleep. I’m feeling nervous about what is going to happen today, on our first day of shooting.” he said.

Mark is feeling nervous? O.o

“You’re feeling nervous too?” I said.

He nodded, “I don’t know. But I really feel uneasy. It’s just that may be I don’t know how to act?”

“You don’t know how to act? Oh come on.” I said as I come near him to cheer him up.

“So what do you when you sing on a music video? Isn’t that acting too?”

He looked at me.

“Yah. While making ‘A’ story, the short film, I did a lot of mistake and my line was just like, ‘A’ let’s go. And I did it for 5 or more times. Plus being in music video is different. I only need to show my face there. There’s no need for scripts. What if I forget my line?” he said.
