Chapter 26: The Past and The Present

“NGOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!” Junel, my friend shouted and hugged me tight.

“Hey bestfriend. Sikat ka na eh, di kita mareach.” my bestfriend, Loidmar said.

(Translations: Hey Bestfriend. You’re already famous, I can’t reach you.)

“Yah, English please. They won’t understand you.” I said.

“Oh, yeah, yeah.” Loidmar said.

“Ah, by the way, I want you guys to meet them.” I suddenly pulled Yerin and Jimin.

“This is Yerin and Jimin. They’re going to be my groupmates.” I said. “And this is Junel and Loidmar, my bestfriends.”

“Oh hello. Nice meeting you!” Jimin said. Yerin just smiled at them.

Jimin suddenly whispered at me, “He’s handsome unnie.”

I smiled at Jimin.

Our staffs are still talking with the producers so we’re still at the airport.

“Oh, and this is my mom and dad.” I said.

“Hello, Rhianne’s mom and dad. I’m Jimin.” Jimin said.

“Hello, I’m Yerin.” Yerin said.

They just smiled at them.

“Oh Rhianne, are they your parents?” Chanyeol asked. I nodded.

“Annyeong haseyo eomonim, appeuji.” Chanyeol greeted them.

“Hey.”

I heard that voice. That familiar voice. I missed that voice. For 4 years or more, I guess, I haven’t seen him nor had the chance to talk with him. I know in my heart, I missed him.

I looked back. Yeah right, it’s him.

“Oh hey!” I said.

“How’s my Pinsan?” he asked then he hugged me.

Yes, he’s Baldwin. The one I mentioned before, my first love.

“Doing great! What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Can’t I come and meet you? We’ve never meet for 4 years and I missed you.” he said.

“Ah.”

I suddenly pulled Mark.

“Pinsan, I’d like you to meet Mark. Mark, he’s Baldwin.” I said.

Mark whispered to me, “The one you’re mentioning before?”

I nodded.

“Oh hello.” Mark offered his hand for a handshake.

“Hello.”

What an awkward situation.

“Okay guys, we’ll go to the hotels now. Please keep in mind to always be together.” the staff told us.

I waved goodbye to them.

Suddenly, Baldwin came near me and whispered something, “I’d like to talk to you next time if you’re not busy.”

Then he kissed me on my forehead. I was not shocked with that because he usually does that to me. But I missed that feeling.

Mark looked at me and I just smiled faintly. Then I looked at my mom.

“I’ll just call you.” I told my mom.

We went outside the airport and definitely a lot of fans are already shouting. We immediately entered the van.

After that we went to Resorts World Manila to stay there.

I texted my parents, “I’m at Resorts World Manila. Come if you want to.”

We were grouped there for our places.

Jimin and Yerin were together. BoA sunbae and I were together. Mark and Chansung sunbae were together and Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Taehyung were together.

We went to our rooms and fixed our things.

“Rhianne-a, I was just wondering. Why did you not take auditions in SM Entertainment?” BoA sunbae asked me.

“Oh, honestly, I was planning to audition but JYP approached me earlier so I was able to be a trainee in JYPE.” I said.

“Oh. But I heard you’re a fan of Super Junior. Is that right?” she asked.

“Yes. I’m definitely an ELF.” I said.

“So, attend our SMTown concert so you’ll see them.” she said.

“I’ll try if the company will allow me. Since, our 15&’s comeback is near.” I said.

She just smiled at me.

Moments later…

We’re at the lobby.

So I went down to the lobby.

While I’m on my way down to the lobby, I saw Mark.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“I’m going to the lobby. They are there.” I told Mark.

“I want to go with you.” he said.

We walked to the lobby and saw them there.

“Until when are you going to stay here?” my mom asked me.

“We’ll be here for a week.” I said. “We just need to finish the shooting.”

“Are you really sure with this?” she said.

“For just one time, can you just please trust me? I mean, it’s my dream. Can’t you just support me?” I told her.

“*sigh* Just text me if you need something.” my mom said.

She went back talking to my friends.

“Is everything fine?” Mark asked me.

“The usual.” I said.

“Hey.” Loidmar said. “Who’s he?”

“Ah, yeah. I haven’t introduced him. This is Mark and Mark, this is Loidmar and that one is Junel.” I said.

“Hello.” Mark said.

Junel suddenly pulled me.

He whispered, “Ngot, boyfriend mo?” (Translations: Ngot (just a codename), is he your boyfriend?)

“Not yet” I said.

“Yet? Yet?” Junel said. “Achuchu, you’ve moved on with Baldwin?”

I tapped him hard.

“Yah, 4 years have passed. What do you expect?” I said.

“Fine, fine, fine.” he said.

“Hey guys, I’ll be going ahead. I still have something to do tomorrow.” Baldwin said. “See you soon.”

I smiled at him then I looked at Mark. He’s staring at Baldwin.

“Oh yeah, hey bestfriend, we too. We need to go home.” they said.

“Oh, okay. Take care! Text me if you’ve arrived home.” I said.

They just nodded.

“We’re going home.” my mom said.

I just nodded and kissed her goodbye.

Mark and I went to back to our rooms.

“Yah, do you still feel something for him?” Mark asked.

“Who?” I said.

“That Baldwin guy.” he said.

I just smiled at him. Do I still have feelings for Baldwin? I don’t know.

“So you still have, that’s why you’re not yet ready for a relationship.” he said.

I looked at him and hugged him.

“Are you jealous?” I said. He nodded.

“Yah, you don’t need to be jealous.” I said.

“But you still like him…” he said.

“Even the strongest feeling expires when ignored.” I told him. “And besides, you’re going to help me remove all the feelings for him right?”

He suddenly pinched my face.

“You’re really so cuuuuuteee..” he said.

“Rhianne, Mark? What are you two doing here? It’s getting late. You need to go back to your rooms and rest.”

We suddenly looked at the person speaking. It’s JYP.

“We’re sorry.”

We immediately run back to our dorms.

“Goodnight!” I said.

“Goodnight! he said.

The next day…

It’s now time for our shooting. I’ll cry in this scene. -_- Dear tears, I hope you’ll cooperate with me so that I can cry easily.

Miss Mylene is a famous actress here in our country. She’
