Chapter XXVII
#1 Look and ShootJessica POV
My heart stopped by the indignation I felt at the thought that Jadyn believe me out of her reach.
—That am not yours? —I said, annoyed, sitting up in the bed.
I grabbed my knees and clung to the sheet. Jadyn followed me and stood behind me, her head lowered. She couldn’t see my face because it was hidden by my hair, but she could feel my anger.
—I wasn’t of nobody ten minutes ago, —I added perceiving how Jadyn let out a drowned sigh on my neck.
—Sorry —she muttered—. It’s just that thinking that you're going to...
I put a finger on her lips so would stop talking.
—I'm here and I'm not going to leave your side.
Her gaze was so intense that pierced me.
—Is that what you really want, Jessica?
—What do you want, Jadyn? Tell me.
—I want you. With me.
—Then I will.
She embraced me with passion that only her arms could transmit. And I felt asleep still feeling her fingers my hair.
Between dreams I felt her lips kissing mine.
Jadyn POV
I got out of bed to get my phone. I had received an SMS. Luckily, Jessica didn’t wake up, she only shifted between the sheets.
It was my father.
«Meeting Choi Bonhwa moved forward. 10:00 am Sunday. Hyomin sniper. Confirm.»
Roger that.
I went back to bed after deleting the SMS. I stared at Jessica and I felt strange. She had said she would be with me, that she was mine, but I wasn’t sure whether she would continue thinking the same after she discovers the kind of person I was. I was eighteen, yes, but I was the best in my work.
I inhaled the scent of her hair. A light fruity scent washed over me and I closed my eyes before kissing her on the forehead. She shifted letting out a soft moan. I tilted my head back and stared at her parted lips.
I kissed her. It was a warm kiss, serene, but full of desire. She answered me my cheeks.
I wanted to say goodbye.
—Wake up, princess —I whispered on her lips.
She opened her eyes and glanced at the window.
—There’s not even a dim light. It’s still dark —she muttered clinging to my neck. She was right, there was still no light, but wouldn’t go away without saying goodbye.
—I must go.
—Nooo... —she reneged, still sleepy.
—You’ll end up being tired of me. —I smiled.
—I doubt that gets to happen. —She finally showed me those brown eyes.
I kissed her while my mind projected what I would do in a few hours. Kill Choi Bonhwa.
—I’ll see you tomorrow? —she asked, my hair.
—You know you will.
She sat up wanting to hug me. I took her in my arms and placed her on my lap. She was so fragile, so small... I was so pleased hug her, I don’t think I could stop.
