ch.34

««Delivery • Girl • Park • Sun • Mi!»»

After driving over to Choi's resteraunt, and arguing for over an hour about why he deserved her address, he parked on her street, and was walking around for her house. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest, but he kept to himself, and walked quickly, around and around and around the block. "Damn guy."  he scoffed, crumpling up the piece of paper. An older woman sttopped him, and grabbed onto his face. "Aigooo! You're so cute!" she gleamed. "Are you moving in on this street?" Jongmin slapped way her hand, looking at her with disdain. "Don't touch me, uhmma." Her eyes flashed. "Yah! Uhmma... so rude. But, aishh you're so cute. I could just eat you up." she continued to coo, putting down her groceries, and latching onto the handsome boy, who squirmed to get away. "Ah, you look to be about my daughter's age, are you single?" Jongmin fumed, and began to flail. "Yah! Let go of me! I have something to do!" The woman responded with a slap to the back of his head. "So rude, don't scare my daughter with your weird action. She is so cute, and single too! With a personality of her father, come meet her!" she said, and with an iron grip, grabbed her bags, and led him into an apartment building. "Yah!" the woman exclaimed, knocking on the door. "Honnie! Open the door; I left my key." Jongmin ached to dash out, and find Sun Mi's house; he needed his phone, he needed to apologize. "Sorry, I can't do this right now; I--have to find a girl, but ah--" he said, uncrumpling the paper. "I'm a little lost." The woman frowned. "I really wanted you to meet her, but I'll help you cutie, let's see.." she said, peering at the paper, before looking at him strangley. "That address is-" "Gosh ma, don't forget so much; what if I wasn't here?" a female voice whined, opening the door, and then he saw her.  "here.." her mother trailed off. Jongmin's eyes widened, along with Sun Mi's as he pointed at her. "Y-Yah!" Instinctively, she closed the door once more. Her mother was lost, looking back and forth, before she noticed she was outside. "Yah! Sun Mi!" she cried, before the door opened once more, and a gangly arm pulled her mother in, and closed once more.

Her mother inside yanked on her hair. "Sun Mi! How can you be so rude?" She didn't respond, just cried out in pain. "You left him outside, and when he is so cute, too!" Sun Mi whimpered, grabbing onto her mother's shirt. "ahmaa......" she cried, and after a few minutes, pouting walked over to the door. "Do you want to come in?" she yelled through the door. "Yeh." he replied. "Why?" she yelled back. "Because!" There was a silence. "Why should I? Babo!" she screamed. "Yah! You little monkey! Don't act like you are so innocent in this; I should be angry, too!" "Ah yeh! I remember using my sibling to lie to you too. We are really alike." Jongmin growled. "Do you want me to apologize or not?!" Her mother exclaimed from the back of the room. "Awwh! You two are just like how me and my husband used to be." After a few seconds, the door opened, and a cross Sun Mi stood in the doorway; though her bright pink swearpants outfit did not match her personality. Jongmin's face flushed. "Sun Mi--" he hesistated, hating her conceited smile. "Yes?" she teased. "Ge--Give me my phone you little monkey!" he screeched. "I did already!" "Liar!" Her mother rushed both of them in, and shut the door. "You both cause such a scene..." pushing them into the living room, the took opposite ends of the couch, and she sat across from them. "Alright now." she said, staring intenetly. "R-right..." Jongmin said, demanding his phone. Sun Mi slapped her forehead roughly. "I already gave it to your brother; that's how he got the black eye." "Bw-bwo?! Black eye?!" he screeched. "You beat him up?!" "Bwo?" she exclalimed. "N-No, that's not what happened!" but his stubborn ways didn't get it through his head. Gritting his teeth, he stood up. "Then I'm going to beat you up." Grabbing her wrist, he pulled her out the door, her mother following them like a puppy dog. "Yah! You --You can't just take her! Beating her up! What kind of guy are you! Don't walk away when I talk to you!" He paused, slightly raising his eyebrow. "Yah, ahjussi, stay out of it." he said smoothly, before closing the door

behind him. Sun Mi was silent, the whole walk to his car, afraid of what was going to happen. He shoved her into the passenger seat, before walking around to the front, and sat in the driver's seat. She stared out the window silently, even hitching her breath to not make too much noise. Biting her lip, she couldn't concentrate with the constant flicking to the left of her. Jongmin flicked the top of his lighter open and closed, resting his head on the steering wheel. "What did you do?" Quickly, she turned to him, eyes wide. "Its not what you think; I didn't beat him up! I threw your phone at him, and it hit him in the eye! Don't beat me up." Jongmin lit his cigarette, blowing a puff of smoke in her face. "You are really a dumb thief, Park Sun Mi." Angrily, she snapped. "Don't call me a thief! I didn't take anything!" he scoffed in disbelief.  "So my phone doesn't exist?" "The one you left when you two lied to me!" Jongmin inhaled the cigarette and sighed. "I said I was going to apologize." Sun Mi rhythmically tapped her fingers on the dashboard. "You still haven't yet." He opened his mouth to speak, but instead patted his shirt. "Have you seen my keys?" Rolling her eyes,  she looked out the window. "Yeh. I threw those at your other brother." Vroom. She had never ridden in a car so fast. "Where are we going?" she asked, but he didn't even look at her. "You talk too much." he said simply, pulling into a driveway. Stepping out, he waited for her for all of three seconds, before impatiently tapping at her window, startling her. "Are you coming?" he snapped, and she immediately followed him. Pulling a key out from his pocket, he opened the door, pausing to kick off his shoes. "Ahma!" he yelled, pulling off his coat. A stout older woman walked to the front door, wiping her hands on her apron. "Jongie, use your insisde voice." she scolded softly, with a warm smile. They met with a hug, while Sun Mi stood at a distance. Pulling away, his mother looked past him. "Jongie... who's this your friend?" "Hmph." he replied, walking past, and up the steps. Sun Mi waved meekly. "Hello.... do you remember me?" she asked softly. "Yes." his mother replied. "You're the one with the gift..." "Right!" Sun Mi pointed. "Jongie.." his mother said, turning, but he wasn't there. "Leaving your girlfriend down here.." "She's not my girlfriend!" he yelled from upstairs, appearing, with a bag under his arm. "If anything, she's Yongmin's." he said flatly, pulling another cigarette from his pocket. His mother scowled, and slapped the stick from his mouth. "Not in here, I told you. I don't want that in my couch." Her smile returning, she faced, Sun Mi. "He's upstairs, you can go up if you like." "Thank you." Sun Mi said quickly, running as fast as she could up the steps. His mother clicked her tongue. "Such a strange girl.." she said lowly, returning to the kitchen. Sun Mi saw the first room on the left with an open door and stood in the doorway, leaning against it. Yongmin's back was to her, glued to the computer. "Wow, if I knew I did that much damage to you, I'd have used something bigger." he immeditely swiveled around, and a smilie grew. "So you came to visit me, ah? Do you always visit the ones you bullied?" he teased, and she walked in. "Just the ones that still owe me money." she said, lightly touching his face. He tried to pull away, but she frowned slightly, "Aish, Yongmin let me see." Half of his upperface was swollen, and he had a big black ring around his eye. "You need ice." Reaching behind her, he picked up a bag of frozen peas. "My mom has had me on lockdown ever since I got home." Sun Mi stifled laughter, and sat on his bed. "Such a tough guy, living with his momy" Yongmin laughed. "You confused me with my brother; I'm the soft easily bruised guy who likes his mom's cooking." he said, throwing a pillow at her. "So how did you get here?" Sun Mi bit her lip softly. "Your brother brought me; you know that stalker actually found out where I lived and drove me here, and after he threatened to beat me up! If I had another cellphone.." she trailed off, and Yongmin laughed at her. "Don't get ahead of yourself; you only got me because I was caught off guard." Sun Mi laughed, and nodded her head sarcastically. "Suurree.. so, do you live here with your mom?" Yongmin nodded, closing out of the computer. "Yeh, I'm only eighteen, you know." "I know; but I just figured--" Yongmin cast a glare at her. "You thought because I'm the heir of a big company, I'm the single, luxury living playboy..." Sun Mi 's eyes widened, and she pushed away the thought. "NO! No! that's not what I meant." Yongmin crossed his arms behind his head, and stretched back in his rolling chair. "Well, you're right. I am; this is my house, my mom is just here to check up on me, you know, she misses her little boy." There was a knock at the door, and it opened. "Yongie! You're laundry's done! I folded your laundry just you like, your undis are in little squares." "AHMMAAA!!!!!!" he screeched, pushing the door closed. He faced her, with a red face. "She--she does the laundry, too."

Sun Mi lightly punched his arm. "Sure, playboy." "Still bullying me? So vicious." He stared at her for a moment, which made her squirm in her seat. "What?" she asked. Yongmin smiled softly. "Sorry about lying." "Yeah, what was up with that? I thought we were friends!" "We are!" he defended. "Friends don't lie like that; and leave me with their jerk lookalike brother." Yongmin laughed. "I thought he would be better for studying, and my dad was being.. well, himself." The room got quiet, with air that so so very tense. Sun Mi tried to ease the awkward glances by giving him a hug. "Just call me next time? He made me spill ice cream on the floor." Yongmin burst into laughter, and mussed her hair. "hey!" she cried, pulling away. "Yongmin!" "Oppa!" he cried. "Never!" "oppa, or we aren't friends." Sun Mi scoffed. "my life was alot better when we weren't friends." she teased, and he stared at her. "Don't say that." Sun Mi's smile fell. "I was just kidding." "I don't care." She swayed from side to side. "Yongmin, I was just kidding. You are my best friend; my life was a lot less drama filled, but it wasn't as fun. I don't regret meeting you." His smile returned, and so did hers. "oh. right." she suddenly remembered, snapping her fingers. Reaching into her hair, she yanked out her ponytail holder, and reached for his wrist. Slipping it around his hand, she smiled. "There." Yongmin looked at her strangely. "So I can tell you two apart. I know its not much, but until I can get you something different, keep this on, and I will know its you." she said cheerfully, before her demeanor switched to grave. "And if you ever play the switch game again..." Yongmin laughed. "I won't! I won't!" he said, waving her away. "You're so dramatic; its so funny." "Yah! Yongmin, I'm being serious!" He played with the elastic around his wrist. "What if I take it off? It won't be too hard." Sun Mi raised a finger like she had just invented the lightbulb; a twinkle in her eye. "That's the genius part; if you take it off, I won't talk to you." "Ah, so if I want you to shutup; I just take this off?" "Yah! Yongmin!" she screeched. "Yongmin!! Dinner! And bring your girlfriend!" Yongmin snickered, and stood up, opening the door. "Hungry, girlfriend?"
