She opened her eyes. She was still inside his room, just like what she could remember from the previous night. And everything was still the same. The four poster bed she was on, the picture frames adorning the walls of his room, and the scattered bags around.

Everything seems to be normal enough.

But she was still feeling something was off.

Looking around, a frown on her face, her eyes soon landed on him. He was on a corner, bent over another opened suitcase, and his back on her. Clothes. He was too busy stuffing his clothes inside the luggage.

Just looking at him pack up, it already brought her a different kind of feeling. Like she had the weight of the whole world on her shoulders.

“Kris.” She whispered his name. Disoriented, and still out of her consciousness.

But what surprised her even more was the tears that were still in her eyes. Unconsciously, she touched her wet cheeks. And realized she was still crying.

Something felt heavy. And wrong.

Slowly, she got up from the bed, not wanting to take his attention.

Everything felt so surreal. Like he would disappear anytime if she even give him the slightest of touch.

Scared; that’s what she was. Afraid to even call his name. She couldn’t bring herself to calling him out.

He was there still. Busily packing the things that would soon vacate the room. And seeing how the room looked almost empty made her heart hurt even more.

Her heart hurts and she couldn’t even pinpoint what’s making her feel that way.

“Kris.” Uttering his name like a prayer, she took another step closer to him. And the closer she got, her tears were falling nonstop.

She had no idea why.

With all the courage she had inside of her, she threw her arms around his waist, pressing her cheek against his back.

That sudden attack caught his attention. But he didn’t disappear. She was still there; and she sighed in relief, despite the unknown tears staining her cheeks.

“Y-You’re still here.” She quietly sobbed, hugging him tighter.

And he easily noticed how she was crying, her voice husky and her arms trembling.

“Hey. What’s wrong?” He asked, worriedly turning to face her.

Kris gave her the softest look, his eyes warm and filled with curiosity. He gazed at her, the two of them speaking through their eyes.

She waited again. Silently praying that he wouldn't disappear on thin air. But no, he was still there. In flesh, standing right in front of her, with worry in his eyes.

“Why are you crying?” He repeated. This time, his fingers were gently thumbing her tears away, despite crying a river.

“I. I-I had a b-bad dream.” She hiccuped in between, unable to stop herself anymore from bawling her eyes out. Her dream was too real that she couldn’t keep it off her mind.

Everything felt so real. The emotions; especially the pain. Just thinking about it was enough to make her cry even harder.

He hushed her, his arms protectively wrapping around her small frame. Somehow, she felt comfort and the sense of security being that close to him. It was what she badly needed. Him, hugging her close.

“It’s just a bad dream baby. You don’t have to cry.” He consoled her, their bodies slowly rocking. She knew it was his own way of making her stop from tearing up; one thing he hated the most. But she couldn't bring herself to stop. It was as if her tears had their own minds. They were falling nonstop and the memories of her dream playing in the back of her head.

“It f-felt so real.” She cried, shaking her head. The dream itself was so overwhelming that she couldn’t bring herself tell him about it.

He might end up laughing at her. She knew he had this issue with laughing at inappropriate times. She didn't want him laughing at her despair. It wasn't just a dream anymore. It was a nightmare.

Just the thought of him leaving her, it’s already a nightmare.

“Come on. Let’s have you back to bed.” Swiftly, he picked her up and lead her back to the bed. He joined her, cradling her close to him. Like a baby, she clung onto him, her

Chapter 39: That's adorable. The alternate ending is a better ending for me. I read it in one sitting too, it got me really addictive. To see what's in the next chapter.

Chapter 39: Finally, I finished reading this. For the endings, I felt like the alternate ending seems better since it kind of left off with Hyuna remembering they needed to get the twins from Junmyeon's place. The original ending seems okay but it felt weird how it's almost like the twins don't exist yet in that ending, it's like an alternate universe where Kris never left Hyuna.
The epilogue is precious especially with Hyuna's gift to Kris and his reaction to it, including the twins also.

Chapter 31: The twins will be extremely happy to learn Hyuna and Kris are going to get married. But something tells me that something or someone might stop the two from getting married.

Chapter 28: I'm kind of dreading Hyuna meeting Kris's parents with their kids unless Hyuna already met them when they dated.
Depending on if Kris's parents aren't going to take the kids away or try to get him to marry some girl but he needs to keep the kids with him.

Chapter 25: I love the note that Tao left for Kris and Hyuna to find, it's cute how the kids "kidnap" them so their parents can have alone time.

Chapter 21: The kids are just adorable trying their best to get Hyuna and Kris back together.
Kris should be patient with Hyuna and she will open up to him once she's comfortable.

Chapter 15: Looks like Hyuna might as well tell Kris about the kids since Hyunmi threatened to not perform if Kris is not there to see her.
I love how Hyuna refers to Kris as "tall bastard".

Chapter 10: I think this might be the chapter I left off on before because I remember the flower and chocolate part.
The kids are just adorable especially Hyunmi with the chocolate eating.
I'm actually curious about Kris's reaction when he finally learns who the kids are and I hope he's not going to think bad things about Hyuna for hiding the kids from him.
