Jessica's POV

It’s been awhile since I’ve gone here. I can’t just bear the pain of seeing his name in that block of rock. Though it’s written nicely, it doesn’t change the fact that it just reminds me that he is gone.

“Why did you go ahead of me babe?” I cried silently as I fell down on the grass in front of his grave.

It’s been two years since he left me.

“Just when I thought that we could be together, you left me”

“Jung Soo-yeon”

“what? You do know that it gives me the chills when you call me with my full Korean name, Xi Luhan” I told him coldly as I put down my book and looked at him

We are both enjoying the wonderful afternoon under our favorite tree. He’s napping on my lap while I read a book.

It’s been almost 3 years now since I’ve became his girlfriend. We are both in college. We’re both taking arts. I’m an aspiring fashion designer while Luhan wants to be an art curator.

“well, I don’t care if it gives you the chills. As long as it can stop you from choosing your book over me” he pouts and I just can’t help but pinch his nose.

“attention seeker” I teased

“well, life is short Jess. And I don’t want to waste my time you know” he said as he sat up. He caressed my face and kissed me lightly on my lips

“a few seconds ago you were being childish and now speaking as if you’re an old man Lu. How old are you really?” I joked but he didn’t laugh but instead he showed me a very serious face

“old enough to marry you, Jung Soo-yeon” he answered

“Lu…”

“marry me Soo-yeon ah… please be Mrs. Xi” he pleaded while holding my hands

“Lu… why so sudden?” I asked. Well, we’re still in college and I think there is still so much in store for us

“this is not sudden, ever since I’ve confessed to you Jess marrying you has always been the end-point of my plan. I know that you are the one Jess. Don’t you feel the same way with me, you know, spending the rest of our lives together?”

I’ve thought for awhile about what he said.

“if you really did plan this out then where is the ring?” I asked raising my eyebrow on him. He shoved his hands in his pants and pulled out a diamond ring

“will you marry me Jung Soo-yeon?” he asked this time on bended knees

“Xi Soo-yeon? Jessica Xi?… well, it sounds good” I answered him making him smile

Ugh, it’s the wedding day.

Can’t I call on sick for this? Or can my phone suddenly ring and tell me that I need to head to the hospital because there is an emergency?
