Author's Note: This is all for a rainy day.

“I’m dying.”

Kai looks down at her, but she still had her eyes closed. He didn’t know if it was just a dream or she was telling the truth. He knew she was a strong girl. She wasn’t going to die, no, not with him around.

“Ani.” He held her close, “Aniyo, you aren’t dying.” He felt the tears from his eyes, “I’m not letting you leave me too.” He wrap his arm around her with his chin o her head.

Kai, SeulMi, and her uncle carried the pictures of the deceased to the burial site. Kai and SeulMi were like zombies. SeulMi wanted to cry but there was no tears left to cry; she was all dried up. The reverend spoke the last couple of words, before lowering the caskets. SeulMi finally broke down and ran to her mother’s casket.

“Umma!” she screams, “Andwe! Umma! Appa! Unnie!” Suho held her back from jumping in to the hole.

“SeulMi.” Suho tried comforting her, “Calm down. They’re in a better place.” Everyone was torn at the sight of the young SeulMi. Losing your whole family all in one day was shocking and a terrible feeling to have.

Kai on the other hand stood by SeulKi’s casket from beginning to end mumbling to himself.

“Wae?” he said, “Why did you have to leave me? We were going to start our new lives together and you left me here.” The tears fell from his eyes, “I love you Kang SeulKi, and now you left me here with nothing.” He huff, “I’m not going to stay here. I’m leaving…” He looks up and sees SeulMi getting restrained by Suho, “everyone and everything, because you left me.” Kai left as soon as the casket were being covered with dirt.

SeulMi was blinded by the lights coming from the windows. She pulls the covers off of her and notice a hand on her that didn’t belong to her. She looks behind her and sees Kai still sound asleep. She slowly takes his hands off of her and get up to get ready for work.

“Morning.” Kai smiles as she walks towards the door.

“Morning.” She says back shyly, “Wake up and get ready for breakfast.”

SeulMi enters the dance room and saw that everyone was there already. Kris was surprise to see her there.

“Morning guys.” She smiles, “One week left to practice.” She sat down next to Kris, “Let’s do our best.” She smiles with her thumbs up.

“SeulMi.” Said Sehun, “Aren’t you supposed to be at home, resting?”

“Ani. Waeyo?”

“It is just…” Sehun looks at Kris for answer. Wondering if he should say anything. SeulMi also looks at Kris.

“Kai said that you were…” Kris looks at SeulMi’s puzzled expression,

“Kai said what?” Kris took a deep breath and shook the thought.

“Are you sure you can practice?” Kris asked seriously, “There is nothing wrong with you.”

“Waeyo?” She chuckles, “Why are you guys all acting like this? All I did was get hit on my head. There isn’t anything wrong with me.” SeulMi gets up and ties her hair into a bun.The three guys sat and stares at here making her feel uncomfortable. “What is with you guys today?” They all look at each other confusing the other girls too.

“Nothing.” Said LuHan, “Let just practice.” He stood up and went to play the music.

Kai sat in his office with SeulMi’s words going through his head. He felt scared and lost at her words; even if it was just a dream.

“I’m dying.”

“What did she mean by that?” He sighs

KNOCK KNOCK

Xiumin walks into his office.

“Hyung.” Kai stood up and greeted his brother. Xiumin sat down in front of him, and sat down as well.

“I heard you found SeulMi.” Xiumin plays with a pen, “Where was she?”

“At her uncle’s house.” Xiumin face palms himself

“Why didn’t you look there first?”

“She isn’t the type to run to her relatives.” Kai was also surprised to find her there. SeulMi would usually go to a park and camp or a hotel. She never liked bothering her relatives.

“Are you talking about instinct or nerves here?”

“Instinct.” Xiumin hits him with the pen, “Ow…Hyung that hurts.” Kai glares back at Xiumin.

“Good.” Xiumin stands up, “Next time rely on your nerves.  Instinct can only take you so far when it comes to woman.” Xiumin leaves the room with a huge smile plaster on his face.

SeulMi and Kai meet up and left together. SeulMi was so tired she dozes off on the way home. Kai couldn’t help smile at her cute gesture. He looks down and saw her hand on her thigh. He slowly reaches over and held her hand. It was soft and tiny.

“My Yeobo is so cute.” He mumbles to himself.

Kai notice the time and it was getting late which meant they’ll eat dinner late by the time they get home. Kai gently tug on SeulMi’s hand.

“SeulMi~. SeulMi-ah.” SeulMi lift up her head and looks at Kai, “Did you want to grab something to eat? It getting pretty late. I know you’ll be really tired by the time we get home to cook also.”

“Arraso.” SeulMi runs her finger through her hair. That when she suddenly notice Kai was holding her hand. She her whole body heat up.

Kai was looking up and down for any open restaurant, but there wasn’t any. SeulMi pointed to an outside food tent. Kai went and parked his car at the side.

“Kaja.” He took off his buckle.

“Umm Kai.” SeulMi avoid looking at his face

“Bwoh?” SeulMi just shook the hand that Kai was holding onto so tight. Kai finally realized that he was holding onto her hand and let’s go. “Sorry.”

“Aniyo.” SeulMi opens to door and walks out too. The both walked sided by side towards the tent. As soon as they got in the workers were blowing their horns and clapping, startling the couple.

“Congratulations, you two are the 100^th couple today.” Said an older lady with curly hair, “You guys well get our pork and wrap special and it is on the house.” SeulMi and Kai couldn’t say anything but nod and smile.

The waiters brought out a huge tray of pork along with many different side dishes. Kai and SeulMi looked at each other and wonder how they were going to finish all the food. Kai put on four strip of pork belly on the grill.

“Should we call Xuimin and EunMi to come and help us?” SeulMi asked, “I don’t think I’m going to be able to finish this.” Kai looks at SeulMi and smiles.

“Ani, if you can’t finish it then I will.” Kai made a wrap with just the side dishes, “Here.”

“B-bwoh?”

“Eat this.” Kai had the wrap right in front of , “Do I have to force you to eat it?” SeulMi opens and Kai stuck the whole wrap in. Kai smiles as SeulMi tries to eat the huge wrap.

“JongIn!” SeulMi yells out of habit as she struggles to chew on the wrap, “This is so big. I can hardly swallow.”

“Good, at least I know you can eat.” Kai was cooking the meat and added some veggies onto the grill. While Kai wasn’t paying attention SeulMi made her own wrap and put in two huge pieces of garlic.

“Kai.” He looks over to SeulMi, “Open up.” Kai ate the wrap happily until the garlic hit. He grab his water and down the whole thing. SeulMi couldn’t help but laugh at his epression.

“Yah! How many pieces of garlic did you put in that thing?”Kai could barely keep his eye open. 

“Two huge cloves of garlic.” She smirks, “I was wondering, if your were in your right mind for giving me that huge lettuce wrap.” The two basically laughed at each other and continued eating. Kai would have never knew that might have been the last time they’ve smiled like that together.

It was the day before the concert and SeulMi is losing it. She starting for feel weak and her appetite has gotten a lot worse.

“Ahh.” SeulMi trips and falls on her knee. The sweat was coming down hard from her face.

“SeulMi!” Kris helps her up, “Are you okay?”

“Yeah.” She looks up at him, “I just tripped over my own feet.”

Kris notice the way she has been looking the last few days and he could tell her condition was getting worse.

“Maybe you should sit out for a bit.” Kris suggests

“Ani.” She shook her head, “We have to keep practicing.” She tries to get up but Kris holds her down.

“SeulMi, I don’t care if you want to practice or not. You can’t just think about yourself but” he hesitated, “the one inside of you as well.”

“What?” SeulMi was completely lost. *The one inside of me?*

“SeulMi ssi.” Said LuHan, “We all know about your condition.”

“What are you guys talking about?”

“Kai told us everything.” Said Kris, “He told us about you guys.”

“Kris…,” she hesitated, did Kai finally tell the guys. “I can explain, Kai and I, we-.”

“You don’t have to tell explain. I just hope that you take care of that baby inside of you more. Dancing like this isn’t good for your baby.”

“What?” she was shocked, “B- baby?” Kris they all looked confused, “What baby?” The boys all exchanged looks with each other.

“Kai said that you - .” Kris looks at Sehun then at LuHan. He knew he didn't hear wrong when Kai told the guys that SeulMi was pregnant.“Kai said that you were pregnant with his child.”

“Bwoh! Why would he tell you guys that?”

“We were all suspicious of the relationship between you guys so we asked him and he said that the reason he was worried about you was because you were pregnant.”

“I’m not pregnant.” She chuckles, “I just haven’t been feeling well.” The guys didn’t want to believe her, “Look guys I’m fine. I’ve just been stressing over the dance that I haven’t been taking care of myself.”

“You sure?” Luhan was a bit iffy

“Ne. I’m fine.” She stood up, “And I am going to go and have a talk with that friend of yours later."

 Kai walks behind SeulMi into the house.

“I’m sorry SeulMi.” He pleads, “It was the only excuse that I could come up with.” He lied, he wanted to tell everyone about their marital status but he couldn’t say it

“Kai, I’m not mad at you. I just want to know why, instead of telling everyone the truth you made up another lie that made me look horrible.”

“I don’t know.” He sighs, “I just…maybe because I need a reason for this relationship.” At that second he knew he said the wrong words. SeulMi was taken back.

“You need a reason.” She felt insulted and sad, “So you think me getting pregnant is a good reason for us to get married." She threw her hand in the air and took a deep breath, “I preferred the arrange marriage better; at least I won’t look like a like those girls you play with.”

“That isn’t what I meant.” He walks closer to her but she stops him. Her emotion got the best of her.

“Don’t touch me.” She glares at him, “Before you really do get me pregnant. You are sleeping in your own room tonight.” It felt hard to breath.

“SeulMi.” He held onto her wrist, “I’m sorry.” He notice how she looked. Her eyes were barely opening and her pulse was fast. “Are you okay?” he felt her forehead. “You’re burning up.”

“I’m fine.” She moves his hand aside, “I just need some rest.” She walks to her room.

“I’ll stay with you for the night.”

“No need for that. I’ve just been over working myself that is all.” SeulMi walks towards her room.

Even though SeulMi tried to convince him that she was fine he kept a close watch on her. From when she enter her room to the bathroom and back. Kai stood there in case something happens.

KNOCK

SeulMi was drying her hair when Kai knocks on her door.

“Come in.”  She goes and sit on her bed and watch the man walked toward her. He had a glass of water in his hand and some medicine.

“You should take these and sleep. You’ll feel better in the morning.”

“Kai, I told you I am fine.” She sighs

“If you don’t take it I’ll make you take it.”  SeulMi crosses her arm

“And how exactly are you going to do that?”

“Do you want me to show you?” Kai walks closer to her and points at his mouth.

“You wouldn’t.” she smirks

“I would.” He smiles back at her. Knowing Kai, SeulMi knew it wouldn’t be wise to provoke him. She takes the pills and water from his hands and takes it.

“Here.” She puts the glass cup in his hands, “Now can I go to sleep?”

“If you sleep in our room.” he turns to walk away

“You’re kidding right?” Kai turns back with a huge grin on his face.

“Do I look like I am kidding?” SeulMi ignores him and pulls the cover over herself, “If you don’t sleep upstairs I’m going to come sleep down here with you.”

“Do whatever you want.” SeulMi hears the door closes and open a little while later. Then she feels the other side of the bed go down and an arm wraps around her waist. “What are you doing?”

“You said I can do whatever I want.” He snuggles closer to her, “And I want to keep you warm.”

“Kai,” she turns her head, “I don’t want to get you sick.”

“You won’t.” he smiles, “Now go to sleep we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow.” They both enjoy the moment before SeulMi remembers something that she didn’t want to mention. In her heart she knew it was the right thing to do.

“Did you sign the papers?” SeulMi could feel Kai’s grip loosen.

“I did. They’re in our room upstairs. Did you want me to go get it?”

“No.” she regret asking, “I’ll grab it tomorrow. Good night Kai.”

“Good Night Sue.”

The next day everyone was running around getting ready for the collaboration concert. Workers ran back and forth, decorators were doing last minute decoration and entertainers were doing last minutes practices.

SeulMi was feeling better than she was yesterday but she still a little dizzy.

“SeulMi,” ask Sehun, “Are you going to be alright this evening?”

“Yes.” She nods

“Kai seems to be worried about you. He kept asking us if you were alright.”

“Oh, I caught a cold yesterday, which is probably why he is so worried.” EunMi walks into the room and sees SeulMi and Sehun talking.

“Ahem.” She clears , “I would like to talk to SeulMi alone if you don’t mind.” Sehun gets up and leaves.

“Unnie.” EunMi sits across from SeulMi, “what are you going here?’

“I came to check up on you.” She hold SeulMi’s hand, “How are you feeling?”

“I had worse days.” She smiles, “How about you?” SeulMi looks at EunMi up and down, “Are you not telling us something?” EunMi begins to blush. SeulMi gets the hints right away and hugs EunMi. “Congratulations. How far long are you?”

“About two weeks.” EunMi’s smile fades

“What is wrong?”

“I haven’t told oppa yet,” She looks up at SeulMi, “This also means I have to stop with my internship.”

“But you’re almost done.”

“I know.” EunMi looks away

“Is there something bothering you unnie?”

“I- I.” she stutters, “I- I’ll tell you later. After the concert.” She gets up and leaves. SeulMi and Kai passes each other in the hallway. They stared at each other and said nothing. SeulMi wanted to say something but Kai walks away before the words can leave .

SeulMi woke up and made breakfast. Kai went upstairs and got ready. As he walked back down the stairs he had the documents in his hands. He walks into the kitchen and leaves the envelope on the table.

“Kai,” said SeulMi, “Sit I’m almost done making breakfast.” She hears a door close and turn around.

Kai was gone.

“SeulMi!” Yells Kris from the end of the hall

“Ne?” she yells back

“Ppalli we only have a little while to practice on stage before the concert.” She nods and looks back at Kai, who turned the corner already, and then runs in Kris’ direction.

The song plays and the three duos start to dance. SeulMi felt like her head was throbbing the whole entire song. She tried to hide it the best she could. When the song was over she was sweating a lot.

“SeulMi are you okay?” Kirs notice the sweat beads coming down her face.

“Ne.” She smiles, “Let do our best later. FIGHTING!” she smiles and leaves the stage. Kris watches as she left the stage. Kai watch from afar as she left the stage.

“Why don’t you just go and talk to her?” Kai turns around and sees EunMi, “I know everything.”

“Really?” EunMi nods

“I know about the divorce, the bet, your feelings and hers. I know everything.” EunMi pats him on the shoulder, “And I also know that you are going to regret something really soon…both of you.” EunMi walks away to help the decorators finish up the center pieces.

6 P.M.

Xiumin and SeulMi walks up on stage to sign the contracts. Mr. Kim and Mr. Song comes up and makes a speech about the celebrating the contract of KIM and Sujeong. After two long speeches, it was time for entertainment.

“We welcome our first group of entertainers, EXO K and EXO M performing GROWL.” Said the MC.

All the guys went up and SeulMi was amazed at her oppas’ improvement in dancing and the choreography.  She was amazed as she waited for her turn. Her dance group was last. EunMi and SeulMi couldn’t help but make comments on the dance coordination.

“You think that is great.” SeulMi recognize the voice. She turns around and see Luna in a revealing dress, “Watch what oppa I do for our performance.” She smirks and walks away with her tail skirt flying.

The performances went by quickly and before she knew it, it was Kai’s and Luna’s turn. Kai walked pass SeulMi and EunMi. Luna was on the other side of the stage.

“Our next performance is by Kai and Luna,” Kai couldn’t help but look back at SeulMi, “performing Troublemaker.”

The music came on and Kai walks put snapping his fingers and whistling. SeulMi saw how handsome Kai was, he absolutely stunning. Not too long after Luna comes out doing the same thing. SeulMi couldn’t stand it, the way Luna wrapped herself around Kai.

“I can’t watch.” SeulMi turns around and listens only to the song. At the end of the song SeulMi heard gasps and screaming from the audience and turns around. Luna and Kai were kissing. Suho and the guys could see from the other side what was going on. The curtains closes and Luna finally parted with Kai with a smile.

“What was that?” ask Kai in surprise

“You’ll find out soon enough.” Luna walks off stage. Kai eyes connected instantly with SeulMi. He walks and towards her. He read her expression and it sad hurt all over it. He was about to say something to her but was cut off by the MC.

“Our last but not least performance is a collaboration of both companies, the group called KIM SUJEONG.” 

“That is my cue.” She took a deep breath, “Wish me luck.” She walks pass Kai brushing his shoulder. Kai turns and faces EunMi. All EunMi did was shake her head at him.

The three duo stood pretty close to each other. Kris and SeulMi were in the back. Each couple had their own spotlight time before the whole group dance together as one. SeulMi started to feel lightheaded towards the end of the song. The light was too bright and her body felt heavy. As the song came to an end Kris notice SeulMi had become a lot paler.

“Are you okay?” Kris whispers to her ear. She shakes her head, she couldn’t even see properly anymore. “Just hang on to me until the curtain closes and I’ll take you to sit down.” She nods. As soon as the curtain closes Kris walks her to the end of the stage. Her breathing was uneven and she was seeing double in her vision.  SeulMi felt something warm drip from her nose. She touches it.

“Blood.” Kris notices it too. Her vision blurs and she blacks out. Kris catches her before she hits the floor. Kai sees this and runs towards them.

“SeulMi!” Kris shook her, “SeulMi wake up.”

“We don’t have time. The longer she stays her the more likely she won’t survive.”

“The only way we can help your wife now is with a bone marrow transplant.”

 “Only God can help us now.”

“Don’t act like you love me now because I am dying. I hate you Kim JongIn.”

“I know she said all those things just to hurt me.”
