Kai woke up and it was morning. SeulMi was next to him sound asleep. He couldn’t help but realize how beautiful she was, even their hand were still in the glove together. He laid there and stares at her.

“How long are you going to stare at me?” she says weakly without opening her eye.

“Until I’m tired of looking at you.” They both smile, “C’mon let get ready. We have a big day ahead of us.” He gets up but drags her along

“Aren’t you going to take the glove off?” Kai finally notice the glove and smiles at her.

“I thought we said no.”

“Except for the rest room.”

“Well I’m just brushing my teeth and washing my face so you have to come along.” He pulls her along.

She goes and sit on the toilet seat while waiting for him to finish. Kai took a wet wash cloth and wipe her face.

“JongIn what are you doing?”

“Washing your face for you.” He took some water and splashed her face and she screams from the cold water, “See you’re awake already.” She smiles and puts her hand under the faucet.

“Why don’t you let me help you too?” She throws water on his face and he flinches back. They both get into a full on water fight and laughed about it. They both were drenched and the bathroom floor was wet.

“Look what you did.” Kai laugh

“Me?” she smiles, “You started it.” Kai looked down and notice that her white cotton shirt shown through and same with his. He looks up at the ceiling and his face a red. “What is wrong?”

“Your – your shirt is umm.” She looked down and saw what he was talking about and tries to cover her cleavage with her hands, “I should leave.” He takes off the glove and walks out of the bathroom with his head up.

Kai waited for SeulMi outside the room. He had a white V-neck with a dark grey jacket over it and black jeans. SeulMi came out of the room with a black and white sweater, blue jeans, a grey cap and a long brown jacket.

 “So what are we doing today?” Kai grabs her hand and slips on the gloves again, “Oppa.” She blushed.

“We are going to eat breakfast today, and since yesterday we didn’t get to do what you wanted, we’ll do that today.”

“But.”

“No buts. Just spend it like how we would have spent it yesterday.”

“Okay.” she sighs, “Breakfast first, and since it is getting cold we’ll go to a café and get coffee like we use to. Then go to an amusement park around here, then we’ll have lunch walk around, check out, and then head back toward the station.”

They both got off the elevator and heads out towards the closest café. They both sat down at a table in the corner. One of the waiters came.

“What would you guys like today?” he asked

“I would like a Carmel Macchiato.” Said SeulMi, “With a plain bagel.”

“Would you like whip cream with the macchiato?” he wrote the order without looking back at her.

“Yes and cream cheese for the bagel.”

“And for you sir?”

“I would have –”

“He would like an Americano and a chocolate muffin.” Said SeulMi. The waiter looks at Kai to make sure that was what he wanted. Kai nods and the waiter leaves.

“You still remember what I like.”

“Of course.” She smiles, “What kind of wife would I be if I didn’t know what my husband drinks.” Kai couldn’t help but smile and pinches her cheek, “Ah ah oppa.” She rubs her cheek. “What was that for?”

“For being cute.”

“Lies.” She looks at him snobbishly

“Bwoh?” Kai was astonished, “Waeyo?”

“Jong In, you know for a fact that I am not cute. I believe we establish this when we were younger.”

“That was when we were younger. Everything has changed.” He smirks at her

The waiter sets their drinks and food in front of them. SeulMi grabs her macchiato and takes a sip. The whip cream left a mustache. Kai couldn’t help but chuckle. SeulMi was puzzled by his laugh.

“What are you laughing about?”

“This is what I mean when I said that you are cute.” He stands up from his seat and bends over the table, making SeulMi lean back in her chair. Kai took a napkin and wipes off the whip cream and sits back in his seat. SeulMi wipes with the back of her hand.

“Yah! Why didn’t you just tell me that I had whip cream on my lip?”

“That would have taken all the fun out of it.” He leans back and drinks his coffee. SeulMi notice that Kai didn’t have the necklace on.

“Jong In.”

“Hmm?”

“Where is your necklace?” he touches his chest

“I took it off.”

“Why?” Kai sighs and looks at SeulMi

“Didn’t you say that this weekend was just going to be us two? That means no past, just us.” SeulMi was touched but she felt guilty because she knew her sister still meant something to him.

After breakfast they head to the closest amusement park and started to go on rides and played games.

“Let’s go on that one.” SeulMi pointed to a really high ride with a sharp drop.

“Are you sure?” Kai ask nervously, SeulMi nods.

“Are you scared?”

“A-ani.” SeulMi could tell he was scared.

“Let’s go then.” She drags him to the long line. There were ton of people waiting in line for the ride. A group of guys stood behind SeulMi and kept checking her out.

“Hey girl.” They try to talk to SeulMi

“Hey you.” One of the guys tap her shoulder, “Are you single?” Kai notices but holds back because of the crowd. “Cuz if you are I am too.” Kai grabs SeulMi and holds her close.

“She is with me.” He was angry “So if you don’t mind back off.”

“Your girl?” one of the guys laugh, “A guy like you dating someone as ugly as this.” The guys scoff, “Your taste is pretty bad to date her. Why don’t you let me get her off your hands?” The guy reach to grab SeulMi but Kai grabbed his hand first.

“JongIn.” SeulMi mumbles

“Don’t you dare talk about my wife like that you filthy son of a .” Kai was angry, “She may not be the best looking person here but she is my treasure. And if you have a problem, I recommend you keep it to yourself.” Kai let go of the guy’s hand and looks a SeulMi, “Let get out of here.” Kai and SeulMi left the line and walk back to the park. Kai was still angry and didn’t notice his grip on SeulMi had tighten.

“JongIn.” Kai stops and turns around and takes a deep breath

“What?”

“Can you loosen your grip a bit?” Kai looked at his hand and let go of her wrist.

“I’m sorry Sue. I didn’t notice.”

“It is okay.” She rubs her wrist

“I should have punch that guy in the face for saying those things.”

“It okay. I’m used to it.” She smirks, “I’m used to being compare to others and being called ugly. It isn’t anything new.” she looks at him. “Let just continue our date and not let them ruin it.”

Kai and SeulMi walks pass a place with cute grey caps. SeulMi stops and looks at it.

“Jong In,” she takes it off the rack, “This one would look good on you.” He takes off the other one and puts it on her.

“This one makes you looks even cuter.” SeulMi makes a sour face and pinches his cheeks. Kai and SeulMi bought the caps and walks throughout the whole park and notice it was almost lunch time.

“SuelMi, why don’t you go and grab some food and meet me over there.” He pointed to tables that sat in front of the stage.

“Where are you going?”

“I’m, umm….going to go use the bathroom. I’ll be back.”

“Okay hurry back.” Kai left SeulMi waiting in the line.

SeulMi got the food and yet Kai wasn’t back yet. She went and sat at the table by herself and waited for Kai. A couple pf minutes has pass and the food was getting cold. She looked at her watch. She was about to get up and look for him when a song came on.

There were two people dressed in penguin suit and started to dance with red balloons in their hands, everyone started to come out in pairs dressed in cute animal suits. Pretty soon a crowd had gather. Not too long after Kai came out with dog ears and started to dance too. She couldn’t help but laugh, because Kai wasn’t really good at cute.

When the song ended Kai took two balloons and gave her a balloon. The workers gave the balloons out to the crowd.

“We can make a wish again.” He smiles

“How – how did you make this all happen?” she was surprised.

“When you fell asleep I snuck out and talked to the person in charge here and some of their workers and this is how this all happened.” SeulMi was speechless and gave him a hug.

“Gomawa JongIn oppa.” He hugs her back

“No problem.” SeulMi let go and took a pen from her bag and wrote her wish on the tag.

“I wish him health, happiness, and true love”

Kai tries to peek but she wouldn’t show him. Kai takes the pen from her and writes down his wish.

“I wish for her happiness and that our relationship will grow.”

“You ready to let them go?” he asked SeulMi and she nods, “On my count, 1…2…3” they both let go of their balloons. SeulMi watched as the balloon disappears into the sky. Kai looks at her, “What did you wish for?”

“Not telling you.” SeulMi goes and sit and start to eat food. Kai goes and join her. “Thanks JongIn.” Kai looks up at her, “For everything.” Kai just smiles and eats his food.

“It is snowing.” They heard girls saying. SeulMi looks and notice the snow falling.

“What luck,” he looks at the windows, “we get two wishes today.”

*My wish will still be the same.* SeulMi thought

SeulMi POV

The day was coming to an end, and I knew it was coming yet I didn’t want to let go. We both went and check out of the hotel and headed towards the station. He held onto my hand and I didn’t want to let go.

I looked at the time and notice it was almost time for the train to come.

“Jong In.” he looks down at me, “It’s time to say goodbye.”

“What?” I took out the train tickets from my pocket.

“There are two tickets, one for this train and one for the one an hour from now.”

“I don’t understand.” He look as lost as a child

“We separate from here JongIn, you have fulfilled the agreement. You have given me a weekend worth remembering. I can never wish for more in my life.” I felt the tears trying to escape, my heartache and my breathing got heavy, “You either leave now or I do.” He look at the tickets in my hand. He takes a hold of both my hands and looks at me.

“I’ll go first, since I know you at saying good bye.” I smile and nod

Arthur POV

CHU CHU

The train was nearing and she tried her best not to cry.

“Thanks for everything Jong In.” She looks at his expressionless face, “Even though we didn’t have a lot of happy memories as a married couple I could say this replace them all. Thanks for making this weekend the best I had in years.” The tears were about to fall from her eyes. “When you get to the station leave; don’t wait for me. Just leave.”

“Sue” was all he could say as the emotion rushed to him

“We promised each other. I’m setting you free.”

“ALL ABOARD!” yells the workers, “TRAIN LEAVES IN FIVE MINUTES.”

Kai stared into her tear filled eyes before he pulls her into a tight hug and kisses her forehead. He turns and boards the train. As he let go of her hand and left the connected glove with her; she couldn’t help but let her tears fall. She watches as he sat down in his chair and stares at her through the window.

 She couldn’t bear to watch him leave and turns around and cry. Kai wanted to run out and hug her but he knew he couldn’t do it. They stayed in the same position. The train blew it whistle for one last time and SeulMi turns to say her last good bye. They wave to each other as the train left the station leaving SeulMi there alone.

Kai felt guilty and sad for leaving her.

 SeulMi board the next train like she said, and it felt like the longest train ride of her life. She felt as if she’ll never get to the station. She watches as the snow fell to the ground, just like her tears. She got off the train and headed for the station with her head down.

“Sue.” She slowly looks up to find Kai standing at the station entrance

“JongIn.” He slowly walked to her, “Why are you still here?”

“I couldn’t leave without you.” The both stared into each other’s eyes, “I couldn’t bear to leave you.” He walks closer to her, “You made me fall for you like an idiot and expect me to leave you like that?”

“Oppa.”

“Kang SeulMi.” He sighs “I have feelings for you.”
