Your POV

Two weeks in Jeju Island was full of lovely memories. The moment Yi Xing and I became one, our first anniversary, the couple rings he bought to show that I am his and he is mine and lastly the promises we exchange for each other.

I couldn't ask for anything else in this world. Zhang Yi Xing was already enough, him and only him, no one else in this world can replace him here deep within my heart.

I was sitting next to Tao and Sehun while Yi Xing was on the phone talking to his parents. We were waiting for our plane to arrive back to Seoul and I already informed their manager the time we will be arriving.

Yi Xing was walking towards me with his wide smile printed on his face which his dimple was showing. I just love the scenery seeing him smile so bright everytime he looks at me; it always makes my heart melt. He sat beside me telling me that tomorrow is going to be his grandfather's birthday and his parents invited him to go home for a while if the management permits him.

"Why don't you call your manager first to inform him about your parents’ invitation" I said and he nodded immediately dialed their manager's number.

He walked away for a while to talk to manager because the other boys were a bit loud while they were playing some games on their phones. After a few minutes he returned to the seat next to me with a huge grin on his face.

"So did manager allowed you to go home to Changsha?" I ask and he raised his eye brows at me.

"And you know what we will be heading there after we arrive in Seoul, PRONTO!" he said making me frown a bit as I look at him.

"We? What do you mean we? Are you bringing the entire EXO on Changsha?" I curiously ask.

"Nope, it's just you and me airen" he happily answered.

"What!? For real? b-but..." before I could finish he placed his finger over my lips.

"No buts, manager already knew about it and by now he must have bought the tickets to Changsha for the both of us, and Airen I really want my family to meet you, just go with me just for three days" he pleaded wrapping his arms around my body.

This boy, I couldn't say no anymore, nothing was actually stopping me to go with him and I also wanted to meet his family personally. I was not a stranger to them because we sometimes talk whenever Yi Xing video calls them.

"Arasseo airen, I'll go" I answered making him jump for joy and the others looked at us with their confused look. Well it is not my place to explain what was happening so he started to explain to everyone. I thought at first that they would complain but all they did was request for souvenirs from Changsha most especially Minseok oppa.

We boarded back to Seoul and before I knew it I was already inside the plane going to Hunan, just me and Yi Xing making ourselves comfortable on our seats. Though I'm excited to meet his family I still couldn't help myself from getting nervous. I had bad memories in Changsha and it was my first trip back then, I'm just hoping that everything will just be fine.

He must have notice I was a bit tense on my seat. He immediately placed his arm over my shoulder making me rest my head on his shoulder and whispered on my ear. "Airen, just relax, there's nothing to be worried about, trust me" he said and I just fakely smiled.

~at Changsha~

I totally forgot that he was an idol. I didn't expect that his fans would be welcoming him and they keep on following us. We were both wearing a hoodie and we tried our best to hide our faces from all the cameras. I totally forgot we were wearing couple hoodies, goodluck on the news later and one thing he was wrapping his arm around my waist as we headed our way out of the crowd. He leans near my ear whispering that I shouldn't mind the people around us.

I was wondering if he even bothers what will the news will say about him. Though I tried to avoid the crowd I could help but glance at their expressions when they saw me with Yi Xing. I can hear them mumble asking each other who am I to Yi Xing. 

For a few minutes we manage to get out of the crowd and safely ride the car which his Dad was driving. Due to the crowd I didn't had a chance to greet his dad when I got in the car, now I felt I was so ill mannered.

"Ummm, Nihao Mr. Zhang, sorry I didn't greet you back there" I apologize as we were heading our way to their house.

"Haha, it's not a problem dear, nihao too, Yi Xing was not actually lying when he said you are beautiful and I can tell" Mr. Zhang said laughing as he continues to drive.

It made me blush from his Dad's compliment and Yi Xing realize I was already turning red which he pulled me close to him. We arrive at the Zhang's residence where his mother and grandmother was already waiting for us with open arms. I was relieve to feel being accepted immediately. I was shy but Yi Xing always reminds me to relax.

His mother was really lovely and caring which now I know where Yi Xing got his caring side from. Mrs. Zhang offered me to sit and relax a bit telling me to feel comfortable and treat their home as mine too. 

"My sweetie, I never expect to finally see you, when Yi Xing told us he will be bringing you along I was really excited to see my future daughter-in-law" Mrs. Zhang said making me blush.

Did she just say I'm her future daughter-in-law?

I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed, me as their daughter-in-law was one of the greatest word I wanted to hear from his family. 

"I'm glad to see you too ma'am" I politely said.

"Ma'am? Isn't that too formal dear, you can call her mom and call me grandma, after all you are part of the family now" his grandma said and they all giggled.

"Seul Joo is a real shy type, but she will get used to it, right airen?" Yi Xing said smiling as he turn to me.

Her mom then suggested us to head to his room to rest knowing that we were exhausted from our trip from Jeju. I was a bit surprised that they really allowed us to be sharing the same room. To show my gratitude after a few hours of resting, I decided to help Mrs. Zhang in preparing dinner. Though she hesitated a bit she ended up allowing me to help her.

I couldn't imagine that we became best buddies immediately while we prepare dinner. She was like my mom who likes to cook. She was even amazed by my cooking skills and telling me that Yi Xing will be having a rival when it comes to cooking. When dinner was ready I headed back to my airen's room to wake him up.

"Hmmmm... this taste good" his grandfather complimented.

"Dad, that's Seul Joo's cooking" Yi Xing mom said.

"Wow! Not only you're pretty you are also good in cooking" his grandpa said.

"Thank you grandpa" I said smiling to him.

"Yi Xing, this one is a keeper, she will be a perfect wife for you" his father said making my cheeks warm and I started to blush again.

They all giggled seeing me turning red. "Awww, look honey, you made her blush, don't mind her sweetie, he just really like to tease" his mom said.

Yi Xing was also laughing seeing me so shy in front of his family. He pulled me close to him and planted a kiss on my forehead making me surprise from his sudden action. I can't believe he would do things like that in front of his family and he was really proud of it.

After dinner I help Mrs. Zhang clean up and she was very thankful for my help. I headed upstairs to Yi Xing's room to have some rest while he was still downstairs having a talk with his Dad.

Lay's POV

"Son, can we have word with you? We'll just wait for your mom to finish" dad said.

"Sure dad" I answered.

We headed to the living room while we wait for mom and Seul Joo to finish cleaning. My grandparents were already at their rooms resting, they were really full from the delicious food that my airen had prepared for them.

After a few minutes mom join us in the living room while Seul Joo was already in my room resting. We then started our conversation. They told me that they were really happy to meet Seul Joo and they love her. But things got a bit out of topic about Seul Joo when they mentioned Mei Lyn's marriage which was cancelled because the man she was going to marry run away with another girl. I told them that I'm not interested with Mei Lyn anymore. It was over a year already that she and I broke up and I already set my heart to love Seul Joo. My one and only airen.

"Mom, Dad, I feel sorry for her but I can't do anything about what had happened to her, I love Seul Joo more than anyone else and I don't want to lose her" I explained and they completely understand what I mean.

"We understood son and we respect your decision on choosing Seul Joo" Dad said

"And about Seul Joo, not to compare her with your ex, but when I first saw her I thought she was Mei Lyn" mom said.

I couldn't help but laugh at my mom's judgment "well that's what I thought too, but she's totally different compared to Mei Lyn" I said.

"Precisely, she's much better than Mei Lyn, we are assured that you will have a wonderful future with her, she knows household chores, she cooks, she's very beautiful, nice and a nurse, it is just like you hit the jackpot" Dad elaborated.

I continued laughing at my parents; they were really amused with my airen. They even told me to take good care of her and they will be hoping that we will get married. Well that's what I'm planning to do in the future but we are not ready yet. Seul Joo and I are just taking things one at a time.

After my conversation with my parents I headed to my room and spotted my airen already fallen asleep. I join her in bed covering ourselves with the blanket and I drifted to sleep as we cuddle each other.
