Dongwoon’s POV

            When Maeji was done eating and we all decided to meet tomorrow, we split up. Hyunseung went with Chae and I started walking with Maeji. She looked so cute today. Yesterday she had her heels on, so she looked tall but today she was wearing black and white Dr. Martens so instead of almost reaching my shoulder, she was four inches above my elbow. She had on shorts and a too-big sweatshirt. Her hair was dark and wavy, and from what I could tell, she had no make up on and still looked pretty.

            I want her to talk to me, I want to know more about her, I want her to be my girlfriend. . .

            “So where does your brother live?”

            “Huh? Oh, he’s in California now.”

            “I thought you were Junhyung’s half-Canadian friend.”

            “I am, but our cousin started a business in America so he went with him.”

            “Ah, is he there permanently or is he coming back permanently?”

            “He’s there permanently,” she replied bitterly.

            “Oh. . . Do you miss him?”

            She stopped walking and ruffled her hair (something almost as cute as her pout). “No, I just miss who he was.”

            We started walking again and I apologized.

            “It’s not your fault,” she said and nudged me.

            “I know, but it’s just sad that he’s changed.”

            “I suppose so. . .”

            It was silent for a little but I broke it. Because I’m Godwoon.

            “So can you speak English?”

            “Yes, my mom knew so she decided to teach us.”

            “Could say something?”

            “Hmm. . .” The rest was in English and I only caught “friend.”

            “What did you say?”

            “I said that you’re a good friend and I wish you were my real brother and I can’t wait to see you and Hyunseung tomorrow.”

            She smiled her pretty smile and hugged me goodnight since we were at her apartment.

            Haha, hyung! I got the last hug of the night!
