“哥哥，醒来！它早上。”A voice said.

“What?” Kris shook his head and sat up. Tao smiled and pointed at Kris’s ear, in which Kris quickly realized his translator fell out again. It seemed to be very common every time Kris woke up.

“What did you say?”

“I said, 'wake up its morning.'” Tao pulled the covers off the older.

“Oh. You should teach me Chinese. I know this sounds weird but it sounds fun to speak.”

“Really? It can be kind of hard to speak at times because you have to pronounce things a certain way.”

“How? Say something to me in Chinese.” Kris took out his translator ear piece.

“吴亦凡, 我哥哥，你喜欢我也我爱你。你今年二十三岁。我今年二十岁。我好的，你吗,” Tao spoke fluently.

“Okay, never mind then…” Kris put his ear piece back in, “What did you say?”

“I’m not telling you~” Tao stuck out his tounge.

“Tell me.”

“Nope, maybe when you improve your Chinese you’ll understand.”

“Come on~” Kris whined.

“Let’s go get breakfast.” Tao lead Kris into the dining room, which only Suho was sitting at.

“Where is everyone?” Kris asked.

“He means where is breakfast?” Tao grinned.

“Well, usually Luhan and Lay cook but since they’re out I haven’t started cooking yet.”

“Oh yeah, they went to training didn’t they?” Kris reminded himself aloud.

“Will they be any different when they come back?” Suho nervously asked Tao.

“No, they make you work out and use your powers and show you some disturbing things but you’re pretty much the same when you come back…”

“Pretty much?”

“Some people are affected more than others.” Tao shrugged.

“Like who?”

“You’ll see. It may be different than from what I remember.”

“When will Luhan and Lay return?” Kris asked.

“Much later today. Maybe around 9pm?”

“That late?” Suho was shocked.

“Yeah, they’re there all day. Let’s make dinner for them before they get back.”

“Before we worry about making dinner, can we at least make breakfast?” Kris held his stomach.

The smell of food had eventually awakened the other 7 members. Each gathered around the large table and began conversing with each other about trivial things. This is how it’d be for the rest of the week: everyone trying to keep their mind off the future at all costs. Luhan and Lay had returned in a good mood, unlike everyone else whom usually returned angered. A few pointless days had flown by until Kris woke up alone. Tao wasn’t lying in his arms like usual; he was gone.

Kris sighed heavily knowing Tao’s training day had come and he’d be alone today. Shaking off the negativity, Kris stood up, taking notice in a small note left on the dresser. It was written in bubbly Chinese characters, so Kris could only assume Tao left it for him. But how was Kris going to read the note? He’ll ask Lay to translate. Lay happily agreed and read aloud:

“Dear Krissie (Lay gave a slight giggle),

You were sleeping so peacefully I didn’t want to wake you up. You even started drooling in my hair XD you shouldn’t sleep with your mouth open or you might snore. Anyway, I’ll miss you a whole bunch! Don’t worry too much, I’ve done this ‘training day’ like 23 times before; it isn’t too hard. Take good care of yourself today~

Lay laughed after reading the embarrassing note. Kris couldn’t help but smile as well. He’d be lonely without Tao around but he could manage, right?

“I’M SO BORED,” Kris complained.

“Then do something,”  Chanyeol stated matter-of-factly.

“But I don’t want to since Tao isn’t here.”

“Then don’t complain your bored.” Chanyeol shook his head.

“Relax Kris, him and Baekhyun should be home very soon.” Suho smiled.

“Actually they’re right outside,” Luhan pointed out. Kris and Chanyeol dashed for the door. Baekhyun opened the door just as Chanyeol and Kris had raced for it. Both boys were exhausted and looked like they were ready to collapse.

“You guys are back!” Chanyeol gave both a tight hug.

“Hi.” Baekhyun gave a weak smile.

“Are you okay?” Kris helped Tao into the living room.

“Yeah, just exhausted. Really exhausted…”

“Do you want dinner? Luhan cooked—“

“Did you cook anything?” Tao laid down on the couch. Baekhyun had already headed to bed with Chanyeol.

“No, I’m not really good at—“

“I know, but I want something you made.” Tao smiled. He seemed really tired, under his eyes were very dark.

“Okay, I’ll go make something really quick. Do you want me to turn on the TV?” Kris treated the younger as if he’d been really sick.

“Nah, just go cook something. I’ll wait. And if I fall asleep, wake me up, okay?”

“Gotcha.” Kris ran into the kitchen and made the only thing he could make well… ramen. Kris had never learned to cook properly because his mom had cooked all of his meals for him. Rushing quickly back to the younger, he discovered Tao was fast asleep. Instead of obeying Tao’s request to wake him, Kris simply carried him to bed, bridal style. Kris didn’t mind taking care of Tao but he was worried what the training day was like; if Tao was this exhausted, it must be difficult.

“Hey, Kris,” Tao said softly.

“Sorry did I wake you?”

“Tomorrow will be really hard for you; you have to take caution since you’ve yet to use your powers. They’ll force you to tomorrow. Promise me you’ll be careful?”

“I promise.”

“No matter what? Even if they tease you and make you upset?”

“I promise.”

“Do you promise to remain yourself no matter what happens at the training area?”

“I promise.”

“And to love me forever until death do us part?”

“I promise…wait what?” Kris realized he’d gotten tricked.

“I love you too. Good night, Krissie~” Tao lightly kissed Kris’s cheek before drifting to sleep. Kris smiled slightly and pulled his panda lover closer to him.

D'aw. How cute~ Anyway I’m really really tired but I decided to squeeze an update in because I’m a kind author-nim. Btw don’t trust google translate to translate my Chinese. I’m actually studying Chinese right now. Tao said: “Wu YiFan (Kris), My older brother (almost like Hyung), You like me and I love you. This year you’ll be 23 years older, I am 20 years  old this year. I’m doing well, and you?” I’m sorry if the grammar if kind of funky. I kinda rushed a bit. But yeah. Tao just said random Chinese.

Thank you for the comments and love. I’ll try hard to start working on more updates for this and start Tao’s diary entries and maybe work out a few other story ideas I’ve had. I have another Taoris one in mind, a Jongkey, Baekren (the Face the Action one), 2 Yewooks, and a story with no couple to it. Maybe I should make a game. Whoever correctly guesses my favorite bias from a band gets chose their favorite otp for my couple less story. XD just a thought. I hope my Authors notes aren’t too annoying.
