He looked up and looked at the wall clock. "Yeah. Right. I'm just hungry. It's 9:30 already and I'm not yet eating."
He then remembered Jinah. She's not yet going down. That means, she's not yet eating too.

He quickly went to the kitchen and started cooking for their late dinner.

After half an hour of cooking their dinner, he prepared it and set it on the table.
