"Do you need help" Chanyeol asks as I passhim with a huge box 

"No it's fine" I smile and carry the box into the new small apartment which Chanyeol used before for his own.

"Are you sure you want me to live with you?" I ask for the at least 50th time 

"Yes of course. I really need you here t be honest" he says and pints to the kitchen

"I'm not here to cook"

"But..well now that you live here you need to do some stuff for me as well"

"Heeeeey I'm not going to be your personal cook!"

"Mhhh maybe for a couple of days" he laughs and i throw a random sock after him as he tries to run away

"This stupid big guy" i whisper as I unbox my stuff and place them into the small shelf Chanyeol lend me.

"You said what?" I turn around in shock and spot Chanyeol's head peeking around the corner of the door

"Nothing"

He walks up to me

"You said that I'm stupid" he says with an evil smile forming in his face

"I did not! I-I said...stupid because of-- eh- yes that one thing fell down"

"and that stupid thing was me,  huh?" 

"Ahhh"

Chanyeol laughs as he gets even closer

Being just some inches away from my face makes me scared about what could happen next

I can hear him breathing, slowly but smooth.

Without any control I close my eyes

"I will take revenge" he whispers.

As i open my eyes again he has already left

Did I really just think he would kiss me?

I shake my head, turn around and try to focus on the things I did before.

My heart is pounding though.

What is this for a kind of feeling.

I shake my head again.

I once had a crush on him this can't happen again. But how to avoid him and his love for skinship?

The hours pass quickly. Chanyeol left me alone the entire time over. I don't even know if he stayed at home or went out. As the clock hit 8pm I decided to stop for the day, leaving the last 5 small boxes, mostly filled with clothes and random small things for tomorrow.

As I walked into the kitchen, I passed the living room and spotted Chanyeol sitting lazily on th sofa watching a Dance show.

"I'm hungry" I say as I lean myself into the room.

Chanyeol turns his head

"Oh yeah now that you say it me too"

"I could make something for us..?" I recommend

"Ah nah. Let's go out. Go and get dressed. But please...nicely. Like...a dress or something."

"Eh what?"

"Yes you heard me. I'll take you out for a nice dinner"

"Like...like a date?" I stutter nervousily

"Actually...to get you out and treat you like a lady should be treated and to show off the gentleman skills I got over the past years" he answers

"oh..ok..nice"

"Hurry up I'm starving!" he shouts after me after i left to my room

What should I wear? How much make up? natural? much? smokey eyes? dark dress? colourfull dress? High heels? sneakers? casual? formal? how nice is the restaurant? how formal is it? why does he even take me out? i dont believe u, yoda...

I never was that quickly dressed and ready for a "date" as today. Yes i call it a date. Two single people, going out, nice restaurant, formal style, dinner for two - all signs for a date.

My heart pounds again.

For chanyeol? or because i'm just nervous?

Kyungsoo...

Forget this idiot. Time for a new me. I'm allowed to go out again and it doesn't matter with who.

But... Chanyeol is my friend. Best friend to be exact.

I can have a nice evening with him too! Date or not - it's going to be great!

"Are you ready missy?" Chanyeol pulls me out of ym daydreaming torture

"eh - yes of course. We can leave"

As we arrive at the resurant, I notice the black suit he is wearing. I couldn't look at him during the car drive. But now - wow.

His hair pushed back and his suit just - suits him.

"Table for two. I called you earlier."

"Ah yes sir. Mr Park you called for the table more outside so you could have it silent , right?"

Chanyeol nods.

Silent? more outside? 

As I follow Chanyeol's tall figure to the table I start to remember this place. I was once here...long time ago. But with who?

Families everywhere, couples who exchange rings and suddenly it hits me

I drag on Chanyeol's sleeve. He turns around. Facing me he gets shocked.

I'm crying.

That's the restaurant I used to visit with Kai that one christmas night.

Kai is dead.
