After Eurovision, 5 Pieces went back to Korea on Sunday and went to Japan after a few hours to prepare for their drama filming for Monday. Now, it is Thursday. After spending today as the fourth day filming the drama, Hannah heads to Korea in the evening. Maria went earlier to film for We Got Married while Hannah went after her filming to go on a date. It’s a little fun actually, because Maria goes shopping with Hyunsuk on their WGM-date, while Hannah will go on a real date now in the evening.

Jonghyun has convinced her. He wants to go out on date in public so badly and now when their secret has come out, they have no reason to stay away from the public, and for over a week he has been trying to convince Hannah to go out and eat dinner with him. Jonghyun had even made Maria go on Hannah’s nerves during a day when they were filming for the drama this week, and eventually Hannah agreed on it after she knew she could get some hours off on Thursday.

The girl is dressed in a pair of black jeans and a long oversize t-shirt with print at the front when the white car makes a stop in front of her at the roadside. She has a shoulder-bag and her usual favourite 2-pack bracelets, and her nails are black from the day’s filming. Hannah opens the passenger door, smiling at the handsome driver when taking her seat. She has just sat down comfortably when Jonghyun reaches his arm by her to grab the seatbelt, and she smiles at his face being close to hers.

“You look beautiful,” he tells her sweetly.

Hannah gives a light laugh at the compliment, letting her own eyes leave his face to look at his clothes. He is handsomely wearing a gray contrast-trim shirt with a few white details, wearing jeans and she sees an expensive watch on his wrist when he puts on her seatbelt. It is good she didn’t buy him a watch; nothing would beat the one he is wearing. And he smells nice too… She meets his eyes when he leans back in his seat, his hair is blonde now.

“You look extremely handsome,” she tells him, and the colour on her cheeks makes him smile. “Should I have dressed up a little too?”

“You look perfect in what you are wearing now,” Jonghyun answers and starts to drive. He keeps his eyes on the road while talking to her, happy she is asking him about his day. Today, Jonghyun performed with SHINee for their goodbye stage on M Countdown, the very first performance for him of [Why So Serious]. He has been excited for it and she has been excited for him. He did well; though Jonghyun talks about some things he wasn’t satisfied with she tells him he did it perfectly well. She can’t stop looking at his hair. “Do you like it?” he asks with a chuckle when noticing how she is looking at her hair instead of his face, that he is used to have her doing when he is driving. He takes his hand through his hair and Hannah follows with her own hand in his hair, looking at it.

“It’s not blonde?”

“Silver blonde,” he tells her, and Hannah opens to say ‘aah’, remembering that he told her that in the picture he sent her when he first coloured it. He gives her a glance, still smiling. “Do you like it?”

Hannah nods, taking back her hand but continues to look at him quietly, in a low voice answering; “I like it. It’s different, but it looks good on you.”

“I pull it off, don’t I?” Jonghyun smiles widely like a child, making her giggle and nod at him. He is so proud over his hair, and honestly it does look good on him, and Hannah can’t stop smiling along with him.

They have decided together where to eat – Hannah in Japan and Jonghyun in Korea – and on today’s menu after going to a special restaurant where they can sit on their own they order spicy stirred-fried chicken. It is a large pan put in the middle of the table with chicken, sesame leaves, leeks, sweet potatoes, cabbage, sauce, noodles and more put in it to stir-fry it together. It is delicious and a waiter is helping them to prepare at first before Jonghyun takes over just to be left alone. Both of them are sitting pretty much quiet while waiting for the food to get ready, and Jonghyun tastes it to make sure it’s good before serving.

“Have you watched Kyung Ho’s drama?” Hannah wonders before taking a bite with her chopsticks.

Jonghyun nods, busy chewing but he answers. “I saw last week’s two episodes; he wasn’t in those, but yesterday… I saw, and he was in it, right?”

“Yeah… he even called me this morning to ask if I saw it.”

“You saw it in Japan?”

This time it is Hannah who nods, but she finishes chewing her food before answering. “I saw it online, just because he had said he was going to be in that episode,” she tells him and smiles when seeing the big bites he takes.

The dinner is very comfortable. It feels good to just sit outside at a restaurant without wondering if she will have to hide her face or worrying about running away to not let anyone see she is with a male idol. Now everyone knows she has a boyfriend, so she can spend time with him without worrying. This is their first time going out after it all came out, and for the first time in three years it is relaxing to be out with Jonghyun, not having to worry for nothing. She can simply enjoy his company, his charms completely. She likes it. They talk about it while eating, mentioning how they are both relaxed in their seats and not glancing around at every movement. They both like it, and Jonghyun looks sneaky when mentioning they can do this whenever they want now. He laughs when Hannah focuses more on the food by his comment.

“You don’t hate it, right?” he asks her, reaching out his chopsticks at hers in the pan where she is trying to take more food.

“I don’t hate it,” Hannah mumbles and takes up a vegetable to put in .

“But…?”

“But I will always be hated for it,” Hannah answers without looking at him, “for having a boyfriend; for having you as my boyfriend.”

“You do know that I will be hated for having you as my girlfriend too? I actually got a letter from a fan of yours, who had written up all the amazing things about you that this fan love, and at the end of the letter told me that I don’t deserve having a girlfriend like you,” Jonghyun tells her.

She looks up at him with a pout, but Jonghyun who had looked a little sad gives a smile.

“I don’t blame them: I got the perfect girlfriend, and it is good they know it. And it isn’t like I’m taking it for granted,” Jonghyun tells her and she smiles too.

“You are more perfect,” she tells him and Jonghyun’s smile widens. Hannah laughs when he takes a huge bite of the food in his mouth, and he keeps smiling with his eyes at her.

Even when Hannah can’t eat anything more, Jonghyun keeps eating. He finishes the food for them; he ate like 3/4 of it all, and Hannah goes to the bathroom a little quick when they are done.

When she comes back, she looks at Jonghyun with a frown. He had stretched over the table, looking very suspicious when smiling at her now. She takes her seat, asking why he smiles like that and she looks at her cell phone that is on the table. She had it in her bag when she left, so she knows he left it there. When picking up the cell phone, cold metal falls to lie on her fingers from the phone, and she turns the cell phone around to see a cell phone strap on the phone, having a small key in silver hanging in it. She looks confused at Jonghyun, who is leaning back to reach his own cell phone that he has in his jeans pocket. When he shows his own cell phone, she gives out a scoff before laughing behind her hand. He has a strap of the same size as hers, but his is a lock.

“Now you have the key to my heart,” he flirts and Hannah hides her face behind her hands when laughing.

“That is so silly!” she laughs at what he has put on her cell phone, and she keeps laughing behind one hand when looking at the strap on her cell phone again.

Jonghyun keeps smiling widely, looking just as proud over this as he has been over his new hairstyle, and he knows that even if Hannah is laughing, she isn’t doing it to make fun of him. Even if she says it is silly, he knows she likes it. He lets her calm down from laughing before saying something.

“It’s to celebrate our 1000 days together,” he tells her, his voice just as sweet as his face-expression, and Hannah’s laughter has become a wide smile at him.

“It’s cute,” Hannah says before she remembers something. She puts the cell phone back on the table and starts looking through her bag (happy he didn’t notice something before), just opening it and picks up a gift box that she reaches over to Jonghyun whose whole face-expression has changed.

“What’s this?” Jonghyun looks at the box with big eyes when taking it in one hand; it is of the size as his hand, fitting in his palm to hold. “Hannah…”

“If you don’t like it, you don’t have to accept it. I bought it last week…”

He glances at her, knowing that Hannah spent last week in London. Jonghyun doesn’t like her buying him things, not knowing that each time he pays for dinner or a gift to her, she has the feeling that she must repay him. For Jonghyun it is daily basic to pay for everything in the relationship, that is how Koreans are like, but for Hannah, she grew up learning to pay 50/50 in a relationship. So when Hannah bought him this expensive exclusive manga from Japan that hadn’t even come out yet, Jonghyun felt like the luckiest man to have such a girlfriend, but also he wants to express his gratefulness some way too. In the end it will just be an endless game of giving back for everything.

He opens the box and finds cologne in there. As a guy, he knows this stuff, and he smiles widely when recognizing the brand. It is fancy, but not too expensive. He sprays one time on his wrist, bringing it to his nose and smiles again, knowing that Hannah is nervously looking at him. Jonghyun gets up from his seat, reaching out the wrist for Hannah to smell it too.

“Does it fit me, Nabi?” he ily whispers when bending his back to reach down to her, kissing her cheek. “I like it – thank you.”

He kisses her cheek again when feeling it getting warmer, and he smiles when he takes her hand to kiss it. Hannah is smiling like a fool at her boyfriend.

“Thank you,” he repeats before he smells his wrist again. “I didn’t know you liked cologne.”

Jonghyun knows Hannah well. During the two years they knew each other before they became a couple, he found out a lot of things about Hannah. He used less cologne and fragrances only when Hannah said she is sensitive to smells and that she always turned her head away or tried to slink away when a guy with too much cologne were around. Jonghyun has always been careful with it since.

“It’s good on you,” Hannah answers in a low voice, watching Jonghyun take his seat again. He can’t stop smiling.

“Can I use it all the time or do you want it to be special, just with you?” he wonders, suddenly resting his elbows on the table and puts his face in his hands to observe her with this adorable loving look.

Hannah smiles, almost giggling, and it makes him smile wider. He likes it when she smiles, and it is heavenly to hear her giggle. “You decide, I bought it for you to wear.”

Jonghyun bites his lip and leans back in his seat, putting his arms down to pack the cologne in the box again to put it away. “Okay… Then I’ll use it, but not too often because I must keep it for long… And I’ll boast to everyone that it is from my girlfriend,” Jonghyun happily moves his head when telling her this, knowing she is blushing again.

Quietly they sit and look at each other with smiles for a few minutes before Jonghyun suggests them to leave. Hannah doesn’t want to leave, though she follows him out to the car after that he has paid. She doesn’t want the evening to end already. Sitting in the car again, Hannah is quiet while Jonghyun is singing along to the music on the radio. During the commercials he sings to random songs in his head and Hannah just enjoys hearing his voice.

It is getting dark outside. Clouds are covering the sky, but it isn’t cold or rainy, just the evening getting darker with Seoul going home to their families or friends, watching TV or maybe being outside playing. Hannah feels tired sitting in the car, just because she had to take her pill after dinner. Jonghyun doesn’t mind, knowing she has to take the pills. Who knows what might happen if she doesn’t take them?

They drive in on a parking lot outside, and Hannah looks around for a second before she looks at Jonghyun who turns off the engine.

“Where are we?”

“Our date isn’t over yet,” he winks at her before he reaches to the backseat, to Hannah’s bag. She looks confused when he simply pulls out something from her bag and when his hand returns to the front, he puts on a baseball cap on Hannah’s head and then gives her the bag – but he makes sure to close it first. She had used the cap at the airport earlier today, and Jonghyun saw it when he was looking for her cell phone earlier at dinner. “Come.”

He gets out of the car, and locks it when Hannah has come outside with her bag, both of them bringing their things. Hannah is clueless of what he has planned, and she has no idea of where they are. Jonghyun walks around the car while putting on a faux-leather zip jacket (he looks so good in it) and when coming up to Hannah he puts his arm around her shoulders to start walking. She asks where they are going, watching him put on the hood from the jacket to not make it too obvious about his new hair colour. Hannah can’t stop looking confused, and Jonghyun is happy.

“You will see soon,” he answers.

Hannah gives out a cute whine. “I want to know…”

“Fine, fine,” he laughs, acting very cool now, “I want to go watch a movie with you, okay? Can we do that?”

It’s not that he asks her if she wants to watch it with him, he asks if she will enjoy it with him. Hannah’s eyes grow when looking up at him, thinking of all kind of movies that could be going now. “What will we see?” The child Hannah has returned and Jonghyun smiles. He knew she wouldn’t have anything against it. She loves to watch movies.

“You saw the cast last week in London.”

“Iiiih!” Hannah squeals and hugs him suddenly, jumping with her arms around him. Jonghyun laughs at her bright reaction, and Hannah keeps jumping a little more in excitement. She takes his hand in hers when getting out of the hug, hurrying their steps. She wants to see Fast & Furious 6! She has been whining over it ever since she heard there is a sixth movie in the making, wanting to see it when it comes out. And she did see the cast last week in London, not planned at all but she has been super excited ever since to get to see the movie and know that she has seen the cast in real life. She is going to see it!

She calms down when they are reaching the cinema – he had parked a bit away to let them be out walking a little longer – suddenly very nervous when knowing they will be walking in public. Does her manager agree on this? Would the security stop her if they knew? But she doesn’t ask Jonghyun if he has talked to them, not asking if he has even told Maria who has been on Hannah this week about the date. Would the leader know? Hannah is wondering a lot, but she feels safe. Jonghyun is next to her, holding her hand or arm to make sure she is next to him the whole time when they walk inside the cinema to get their tickets, and she bites her lips to not smile like a fool. Getting in line, it is a lot of people in the large room. Hannah lowers her head automatically, sticking next to Jonghyun’s arm. When someone wants to come past them, she gets up behind Jonghyun, holding on to his jacket to let him know she is there and she rests her head on his back. She wonders if they look weird. This blonde foreigner with a baseball cap, standing with a Korean who has silver-blonde hair, hiding under his own hood – is it obvious? Yet she doesn’t dare to look up to see how others are dressed. She is still tired too, closing her eyes when resting her head on his back.

Jonghyun turns halfway, making Hannah lift her head up and let go of his jacket. He puts his arm around her shoulders to have her under his arm and she automatically rests her head towards him.

“You get tired when you relax,” he whispers to her.

“Is that a good thing?” Hannah wonders, not sure if he is disappointed at her by stating the obvious. They take a step forward when the line moves.

“It is,” Jonghyun answers, making sure to whisper near her ear for just her to listen. “Your mood goes up and down, and that means you are relaxed and that I am doing a great job being the perfect boyfriend.”

She giggles and puts her arms around his waist from the side, breathing him in. “Even on bad days you are a perfect boyfriend,” she whispers to him and looks up to show she is smiling. Jonghyun smiles too. If they hadn’t been in public, he would hold her with both arms and kiss her, but now he turns his attention to buy the tickets for them and Hannah hides her face for the young woman working there who blushes at Jonghyun when he orders the tickets from her. Is it because he is super hot or because she knows he is from SHINee? Maybe both; probably both. The good thing is that Jonghyun doesn’t seem to care, and when he gets the tickets he gives them to Hannah and then he gets the popcorn and mugs before walking to the side. Hannah giggles when he tries to hold on to the three things, struggling to not drop the popcorn he holds in his arms while holding the two mugs in his hands, and she helps him by taking one of the mugs with Coca Cola to help him out.

He is the one finding the right hall and their seats, and when dropping down the popcorn on his seat, Hannah sitting down on her chair, he takes off his jacket and when he takes his own seat he takes off Hannah’s cap from her. She just smiles, taking the cap when he gives it to her and she looks to really sit comfortable there, looking around a little. Jonghyun had asked the woman if she could give seats in the back, and Hannah knows he does it for them to not have to care about people noticing the two of them more than the movie. If she had gone to watch a movie with Maria, they would want to sit at the front, because that gives the best movie experience. But Hannah doesn’t mind sitting in the back. Two blondes sitting together should get attention in the dark room, especially with Jonghyun’s hair almost shining. She giggles at the thought of his hair shining when the lamps will go out for the movie to begin, and when Jonghyun looks at her questioning to know the reason for her giggling; she simply takes her hand through his hair. Jonghyun shoots her a smile by the random move. He loves it. He can’t stop smiling as big as he can at her, unable to stop. He likes it when she touches him.

“You look tired too,” Hannah comments on what he said to her earlier when they were standing in the line, blinking but not looking away from him because he doesn’t look away from her.

“I have practiced a lot for today’s comeback,” Jonghyun whispers, “and it is the goodbye stage. I couldn’t sleep last night because of it… worrying over too much for no reason at all.” He takes her hand in his, both of them sitting with their backs against the backrests of the red seats, looking to their sides at each other. “You know today was my first performance after you and I made all those headlines of being a couple. But my fans were shouting loudly the whole day at Mnet, they were so loud, Hannah, calling my name because today is my comeback after the accident as well. It felt great.”

She smiles when he is talking. If there is something they know about each other, it is the love to music and their fans and the feeling of making a comeback. Jonghyun smiles at her face-expression, knowing that she knows what he is talking about.

“Have I said that you look extraordinary pretty today?” he whispers to her while some teenage boys take their seats to seats in front of them. Hannah giggles and leans closer to him, giving him a peck on his cheek before shyly leaning back.

Jonghyun can’t stop smiling when looking at her. She is beautiful, and he just loves to look at her.

The hall is filled up almost completely, and some people turn around in their seats to glance at the celebrity couple quietly sitting there and watching the movie. Halfway through the movie Hannah feels bad to Jonghyun, for that she is watching this movie with him. Why? Because Hannah is used to watch these kinds of movies with her ladies, and it is a lot of squealing; for the cast, especially Vin Diesel’s voice and overall Paul Walker, but Tyrese Gibson has a hilarious character and Hannah wonders if she is enjoying this movie a little too much from time to time. Jonghyun laughs along with jokes said in the movie, and then whispers something to Hannah to ask for something he doesn’t understand. But they don’t care about others. They mind themselves, and they enjoy it.

None of them eat much of the popcorns, though by the end of the movie they have both finished their Coca Cola.

Leaving the cinema, Jonghyun puts his jacket around Hannah as it has gotten chilly outside, and he takes her shoulder-bag too, making Hannah laugh and because this is how Jonghyun is like – a gentleman – while Hannah just finds it awkward. She giggles when they are walking down the street with Jonghyun’s arm around her shoulders and she puts on her cap on him.

“You are so obvious with that hair,” she giggles and Jonghyun laughs, fixing the cap to wear it correctly.

“And you have fallen completely for it,” he jokes with her.

His hand is hugging her shoulder, holding her towards him and Hannah smiles when putting her arm around his back. “Are you cold?” she wonders but Jonghyun shakes his head, giving her a peck on her hair.

“Do you have to go back to Tokyo tonight?”

“Yes,” Hannah pouts up at him, “We have an early filming tomorrow, so I have to go back tonight. You won’t make me miss my flight, right?”

He laughs. “I hadn’t thought of that, but who knows?” he keeps joking with her happily.

It is dark outside now, the streets are empty the further away from the cinema they get, and it is really nice to just walk next to each other like this. Hannah smiles at his joke, telling him to not get any ideas before she takes her baseball cap back and smiles silly at him when putting the cap on herself.

“Why do you always have to be so beautiful?” Jonghyun breathes and with his free hand he fixes her hair pointing out under the cap.

“Maybe you should check your sight,” Hannah jokes with him, her joke making him laugh lightly. Jonghyun really liked that joke, laughing so Hannah laughs more and he then holds on to her chin to kiss her tightly on her cheek.

“I love you,” he tells her in a low voice but he is still laughing, walking straight again when letting go of her chin. Hannah giggles.

They walk in silence just for a few moments, smiling out at the street before Jonghyun brings up a topic.

“You still haven’t talked to me about your trip to Sweden.” His voice is light, keeping the playful energy between them but he gets some kind of seriousness in his tone that makes Hannah give a small grimace, though she hides it from him.

“I told you it was fun, that we met all these Swedish celebrities and had a lot of fun even at the hotel just with the ladies…” Hannah shrugs her shoulders a little under his arm. “What more do you want to talk about?”

“The fact that your family was watching from TV at home?” he suggests, looking at her from the side. “You said your grandmother mailed you afterwards; she liked it.”

Hannah nods, biting her lips quietly. Jonghyun rubs his hand on her arm. He wants her to talk, and she pouts, avoiding looking at him. “She is the only family in Sweden who has contacted me…” Hannah says in a low voice. “I know mom and the others watched Eurovision too, grandma told me, but none of them has said anything. … I performed on one of the most watched non-sporting events in the world, Jonghyun, and all I get is my grandma telling me I did well? It’s like … it’s like they didn’t even know I was there.”

“They saw you perform,” Jonghyun is confident in that, “and they are proud over you.”

He shakes his head when she gives him a stare. She doesn’t think like him.

“Being proud is not in my family’s genes,” Hannah mutters. She doesn’t say that just because she is not in the mood for the subject, she knows it is the truth. No matter what you do, you never get any praise or a pat on the shoulder – that is how she grew up. Jonghyun though, can’t help but to smile.

“Your Korean surely has improved.”

“It’s the only language I get to use,” she keeps muttering.

“The viewers loved the performance anyway,” Jonghyun keeps talking about it. “I keep watching it online, reading the comments. Even at the company they are talking about how great 5 Pieces did.”

Hannah grimaces again. The ladies saw the comments online too, people commenting on 5 Pieces’ performance at Eurovision this past Saturday.

According to the comments, 5 Pieces have gotten a sudden raise in their popularity, getting more fans because of this performance. Articles in Sweden came out saying that 5 Pieces was professional on the stage, always finding the camera and having a powerful stage presence. They were in synch with their clothes, live singing and the most fascinating thing for the viewers was the choreography. 5 Pieces’ performance was something Europe had never seen before, and Hannah’s only thought was that they have never witnessed k-pop before.

“Could we change the subject?” Hannah wonders, not liking to talk about this. She really had a lot of fun in Sweden at Eurovision this past weekend, all of the ladies had a great time, but she still feel that it was more of a dream than reality.

“What do you want to talk about then?”

“You.”

“Too bad, and I wanted to talk about you,” Jonghyun whispers and smiles when Hannah laughs. He just fools around with her.

But as an on-screen couple, they were no match to the real-life couple that late that evening was caught on date, stealing all the attention.

Just a month ago, SHINee’s Jonghyun and 5 Pieces’ Hannah confessed to be a couple, creating chaos not just among their own fans but for all k-pop fans. Jonghyun had in a smaller car-accident and Hannah has been busy promoting in Japan, so both parts haven’t been able to meet, but yesterday the couple was spotted by citizens enjoying a cinema movie date together.

Jonghyun, who made his comeback with SHINee on yesterday’s goodbye stage on M Countdown, is rumoured to have picked Hannah up after his schedule to go watch a movie together. Hannah is said to have been in Korea for just a few hours before returning to Japan. The couple was spotted because of their outstanding looks when leaving the cinema and the pictures taken have left fans blushing and giggling over how cute this couple actually is.

Hannah looks up from the tablet after reading the comments to one of the articles that has come out. A Japanese woman had said her name, asking her to get ready. Hannah nods and turns the tablet off before heading up to do her scene. It is the next morning after her date with Jonghyun. The ladies are filming for their drama, none of them really caring about the articles because Hannah and Jonghyun is openly a couple and people can comment however they want. Hannah doesn’t care at all. A month ago she would care, now she doesn’t. Now it is all out anyway. She focuses instead on the drama filming, helping her members from time to time when she isn’t too busy helping herself, and she helps to communicate between everyone too. It is fun. The staff and directors are really nice and understanding, as this is 5 Pieces first time acting and acting together, and it is supposed to be fun, not just work. They seem to do just great for that. And Julia can’t stop talking about that she is practicing wildly for her solo debut; on Sunday she will film the music video. All of them are excited for her on that front too.
