After a long day at the Palace area, the thirteen of you came home to your empty house. Baekhyun flicked the lights on.    Soon all the rooms were lit up. The boys chose to stay in their hanboks for a little while longer—enjoying the carefree feeling and comfort of a hanbok.   You stayed in yours as well. You forgot how comfortable it was wearing the hanbok. You felt so free, in comparison to the jeans you usually wore. D.O. and Suho were in the kitchen, fixing up a quick dinner.   You were in the kitchen helping out D.O. and Suho with the food when you heard Kris mumble out, “I’m going to go change.”   Immediately, you stopped what you were doing. You peaked out from the kitchen and watched him head up the stairs.    The Angel’s grew quiet from outside. They blinked their eyes, observing the sunken shoulders of their duizhang. You and Luhan met eyes for a moment. Confusion was written on both your faces. Your eyes flickered back to the stairs.   Worried lines covered your face as you chewed on your lips subconsciously. *I hope he’s okay.* Images of this early afternoon flashed back to your mind. That forlorn look in Kris’s eyes made your heart twist in pain. Kris was a strong man, with a tough exterior. But that look in his eyes, made your heart quiver in your chest. He looked so... vulnerable. It was like he was trying to open up to you but he couldn’t accumulate enough words to express what he was trying portray.    “Maiden, can you help me with this for a bit?” Suho asked from the fridge, breaking your thoughts.    You snapped out of your daze. “Woops, daydreaming.”   “As always~” Suho joked. You smiled and ran over to help Suho out, however your mind was still stuck on that particular moment with Kris.    ---   After dinner, you quickly cleaned the dishes with Lay and disappeared in your room. Midterms were coming up before the holiday breaks. Therefore, study, study, study!   You didn’t change out of your hanbok. You just sat on your bed, sitting crossed legged with your laptop on your lap.    The boys were downstairs watching T.V and muttering quietly as possible so you could study well. However, about 5 minutes into studying you could clearly hear Tao and Sehun bickering over the remote control.    Surprisingly though, it didn’t bother you at all. You’ve grown accustomed to the noises they made. A house without noise would be a silent house, which in other words can be interpretted as a house of death. Therefore, you were secretly grateful of all the noises they made because it reminded you that the boys were real and that they were here, living under your roof with you.   Around 9, you decided to take a study break. You were lying flat on your back as your fingers thrummed against your stomach, the sounds emitting from it was like a bunch of rocks being thrown into a hollow cave. *This sounds so weird. It sounds so empty yet I’ve ate at least three bowls of rice for dinner.*    “I see you studying very hard, Goddess.” Someone suddenly said.    You jerked up at the voice.    Kris was leaning against the doorframe with his arms folded across his chest. His eyebrows rising high in a tantalizing manner. He had changed out of his hanbok and was wearing a normal crisp white t-shirt and basketball shorts. Even wearing a simple outfit like that made Kris looked worldly.   Or maybe it was the clean whiteness of the shirt.    Whatever it was, it was working well for him. You repressed a sigh.    Instead of replying sarcastically with your usual backsass, your expression had gone back to the mask of worry that appeared this afternoon. Kris noticed it right away and uncomfortably cleared his throat. “Anyway, work hard Goddess. I’ll—”   “You aren’t going anywhere Wu Yi Fan.” You said, pointing at the model-fit boy. “Come in here and sit your right down next to me.”   Kris blinked in surprise. Astonishment crossing his features as he pointed to himself in shock. “You want me... in your room? Sitting next to you? That’s a first.”   “If isn’t obvious enough wise guy.” You muttered, rolling your eyes with a small smile.    Kris responded with his own smile.    The bed creaked a bit when Kris sat down next to you with perfect posture. He clasped his hands together and placed it on his lap.   You slowly twisted your
