Eleven pairs of gawking stares refused to tear their eyes away from you and Lay.    You had your hands casually tucked in your pockets as you whistled comfortably. Lay on the other hand was as stiff as a rock. His eyes were downcast and his cheeks were flushed pink as he kicked the pebbles on the dusty ground.    The silence was driving you nuts. You stopped whistling and bit your lip. You looked up to distract yourself when you locked eyes with Kris. He had his eyebrows raised but a smile had formed on his lips. He nodded his head to the side. ‘Talk to him.’   You scowled. ‘I’m trying!’ He rolled his eyes in exasperation and you took it as a sign as, ‘try harder!’   You crossed your arms and stuck out your tongue at him. Kris chuckled and went back to talking to Chen and Tao.    You cleared your throat.   “Why didn’t you tell me you’re afraid of heights?” You finally asked.    Lay rolled his shoulders sluggishly. “I didn’t want to be a spoil sport.” *And I didn’t want to look incompetent infront of you.*    “But you wouldn’t be. We could go and do other things. Like go to the Zoo section, that's super fun!”    “Zoo?”   You nodded. “A zoo is a big facility where animals, insects, rodent, and reptiles live at. Think of any animals you could think of, and you’ll find it at the Zoo. There’s also even a Safari! Oh ho ho! I can’t wait to see the Safari. The lions... EEEK!” You clapped your hand in excitement.     *WOW SUCH PLACE LIKE THAT EXISTS? I-* Lay caught himself before he could look like a fool in front of you.    Once he maintained his cool, he let out a sigh, still feeling a little unsure.    *What if she’s only saying this because she pities me?* He frowned. “Goddess, you looked like you were having so much fun on the ‘roller...coasters’, it would’ve been selfish of me to burst your bubble.”   You shook your head and reached out to dishevel his hair softly. “Oh, Laylay. It doesn’t matter if the rides are fun. I’m more concerned about your wellbeing than playing on the rides any day. You nearly gave me a heart attack when I saw how pale you got!” You shook your finger disapprovingly with a cute pout, making the insides of Lay melt. “If you’re not having fun, you can’t expect me to have fun either, right?”    His lips twitched and he mustered the courage to glance up at you. You were smiling at him. He couldn’t help it any longer and he broke into a wide smile. “Goddess, you have such a kind heart.”    You tossed your hair back and feigned arrogance.“Yeah, I’ve been told.”    Lay chuckled. Hearing the sound of him chuckle made you warm. For the first time since meeting him, you noticed he had the cutest set of dimples on his cheeks. Instinctively, you leaned over and poked it in interest.     Lay’s eyes fluttered wide in surprise and turned his head. Your eyes were wide with amazement. You had this look on your face that he couldn’t explain. Since coming here, he had been feeling a sense of emptiness. He was deeply home sick and he missed the Kingdom of EXO. He hadn’t expressed this to anyone except for Chen.    But being here... being right next to you, he felt happy, and he felt warm and most importantly, he felt right. Like his spot here next to you was the right place for him. Something he hadn’t felt in so long. It was relieving to know that he was still capable of such emotions.    Your smile grew wider. “Laylay! You have the cutest dimples! Oh my god, I just want to curl myself in there and tuck myself to sleep.”    The blood rushed to his cheeks and he shyly smiled. “Goddess, you’re so strange.”    You laughed and continued to poke his dimple. “Tell me when I’m starting to annoy you. Okay?” You went on your poking spree.      It felt like you were poking his cheek like the commercials of that finger poking Pillsbury dough boy. *Poke, poke, poke, poke.* You gently jabbed his cheek, laughing in the process.   “Lay,” you said as you looked up at him. His eyes were wide, but he didn’t turn his head at all. He actually liked the feeling of you poking his cheek. It felt... nice. (oddly enough)    “Yes Goddess?”    “Is Lay your real name?” You asked curiously. Once you had heard Kris calling someone a name you’ve never heard before in a different accent. You had clearly remembered the voice answering to it, but you couldn’t make out whom that voice belonged to at the name.    Lay’s eyes rounded for a second but he shook his head. “No. That’s not my real name... Do you want to know my real name?”    You started poking his cheek faster while nodding your head, the goofy grin plastered all over your lips.    Lay chuckled. His eyes warmly glowed as he spoke. “My real name is Yixing.”   You snapped your fingers like a detective who just figured out the answer to a mysterious case. “I knew it! I heard Kris call someone that once... and I was so curious to find out. Now I know. Harhar.” You laughed deviously before poking his cheeks all over again.    Lay smiled. “What do you think of my real name?”    You thought for a moment, finding the right word to describe it. “It sounds beautiful. Elegant in a way, actually.” You blushed a bit, realizing how lame you sound since you didn't know what Yixing meant yet you were too stubborn to ask in fear of looking foolish.   Lay warmly smiled to himself, content with your words and glad to know that you had chosen him over
