  Today was just one of those days where you knew everything was going to go wrong. You woke up three hours earlier before school to see blood stained sheets beneath you. It was a good thing everyone was still asleep or you would have died of embarrassment to explain what happend. You had to creep through the house quietly, handwashed the sheets until the blood became faint and then proceeded to bleach your sheets. It didn’t help that your bedsheets were white either. *Why was I born a girl? This life .*    Feeling dirty from your period, you took a long hot shower. Your nerves relaxed from the warm steam penetrating through your body, but your mind was still irked by the way you woke up.    You left the bathroom and bumped into your Mother who was just about to leave for work with your Father. She was surprised to see you getting ready for school so ready in the morning.    “Period,” you said simply. widened into a small o. With a soft elbow to your ribs, she said, “Aren’t you a bit too old to be staining your sheets young lady?” You flushed red and lightly pushed her towards the stairs. “Have a good day at work Mom! Tell Dad not to overwork himself, alright? Bye!”    “Alright, alright.” Your mother chuckled. “Bye baby! No detentions today, okay?! Treat the boys well. I’m sorry we haven’t been able to help you out with them.” She gave you apologetic look. You shrugged good naturedly and waved. She smiled warmly at you before descending down the stairs and disappearing. When she left, your smile fell.    You really didn’t want to go to school today.    With a wistful sigh of depression, you went in your room to get ready. Yet again, you ripped your socks from pulling on it too hard. This was the second time in a month. By the end of it, you’re probably going to have to buy a new pack of socks. Your hair looked out of a place when you tied it up and you grew frustrated the more you tried to fix it, so you left your hair down today, just like any ordinary plain Jane; limp and dead.    Outside, the boys were coming out of their rooms sleepily when they heard you groaning and complaining in your room.
