Changes don’t happen automatically, but you were willing to take it one day at a time.    Although you had loved soccer and invested a lot of your time over the years in the sports team, you decided that it was time to put that life behind. University is going to be full of challenges; early mornings and late nights, twenty pages of essays, and endlessly long notes.    No more sleeping in class, that’s for sure.   The first change you decided to make was to re-paint your room and to put away all your old memories away and seal it in a compact box. Of course you couldn’t have done it without the help of your boys.    The thirteen of you stood in the middle of your room. Examining all of the photos, awards, books, ornaments and presents that you collected over the years. Most of the photos were of you and Yoonjung. It captured moments of the two of you from the start of your friendship up until the very end.   The last one was a Polaroid photo of you and Yoonjung on the day of her birthday. You in that salmon coloured dress and her in her pink halter dress. You could see Yongguk and Daehyun in the back, trying to jump into the picture; Yongguk with his usual wide mischevious grin and Daehyun with the trademark smirk that once upon a time ago made your heart flutter madly in your chest.      Your eyes flickered from one side of the room to the other, nostalgia filling them deeply.    Suho touched your arm with a worried frown. “Maiden, are you sure you want to do this? We know how much these treasures in here mean to you. You shouldn’t give up on things you love so much.”    You took a while to answer that. *Am I sure? Do I really want to remove all these memories? My pictures, my awards... my beloved soccer ball...* You bit your nails, suddenly feeling anxious for no apparent reason.   A hand gently pried your finger away from your lips. You blinked and glanced up at the person.   Kris looked at you with a soft expression. “With pretty lips such as yours, do you really want all that bacteria inside of them?”   You couldn’t but snort, though a smile was on your face.    Kris smiled and let go of your hand.    Finally, you answered.   “I’m sure Prince Suho,” you said with a nod. “I don’t think of this as giving up. Rather, I’d like to think I’m putting them into a treasure box. One day, I’ll open it up like a time capsule and look back on my wonder years and be reminded of all the friendships I once had, all the achievements I had and all the hobbies I loved as a teenager. To me, I’m not giving up... I’m simply moving forward with my life.”    The worry vanished from Suho’s face and was replacement with admiration. He squeezed your arm gently with an appraising smile. The rest of the boys gazed at you with the same expression.   You inhaled deeply, the smile widening on your face.   “Well then... shall we start?!” Tao asked excitedly.   “I GET THAT WALL!” Sehun pointed and ran over to the side he wanted.   D.O blinked. “But there’s nothing on that side!”    “Exactly!” Sehun snickered.    Luhan rolled his eyes. “Come here buddy, you’re coming over here to help Xiumin, Tao and I in sorting out the awards.”    “Huh?! But Maiden has hundreds of awards!” Sehun cried.    “Precisely why you’re going to help us.” Luhan rolled his eyes and yanked on Sehun’s ears, tugging him towards the other two boys.   Chen, D.O and Suho helped you clear off all the photos and books off your desk and dresser.    Kr
