That was always one of the worst ways to wake up. You always thought you were about to fall off a cliff or something. You had rolled to your side and blinked your eyes open. You stared at the clock with hazy eyes for several moments until you noticed the date and time.   The tiredness you felt when you awoke instantly vanished. Your eyes flew open and you snatched your alarm clock in horror.    Then you let out a bloodcurdling scream that echoed loudly from your room to all the way down to the kitchen.   Lay was leaning against the kitchen counter, monitoring Sehun as he washed the dishes. The both of them flinched when they heard you scream. The sharp velocity of your screech pierced their sensitive eardrums.     Chen poked his head into the kitchen. “Was that Maiden?”   Without looking at him, both Lay and Sehun nodded their head.    “Maiden is definitely back to normal.” Sehun said, placing the last dish on the dish drainer. Lay smiled, the deep dimples forming on his cheeks as his eyes flickered up at the ceiling. “You think she’s late for class again?”   “Yep,” Kris said going into the kitchen and placing his used cup into the sink. Sehun let out a groan and stomped his foot on the ground like a child. Kris blinked in surprise. “Relax. I was going to wash it myself kiddo.” .   Sehun let out a breath of relief. “Good because—”   “But Kai is still eating so—”   Sehun’s face fell. His eyes flickered over to his hyung who was eating outside. *Why does it seem like he’s eating purposely slow right now?!* His nose flared impatiently as he glared at his hyung. *EAT FASTERRRRR SO I CAN BE THE ONLY ONE SITTING WITH MAIDEN WHEN SHE COMES DOWN TO EAT!*     ---   You had to admit. You missed those good old days where you could just throw on a uniform and run down the stairs. Now, however, you actually had to think through your wardrobe. Sorta.   Without much effort though, you threw on a sweater, a simple blue jean. You threw on your baseball cap, slung your bag over your shoulders and rushed down the stairs. Some of the boys were still home. You could hear their voices speaking in a fluid, hushed manner.    “Good morning, Maiden!” Sehun appeared at the stairs with a sweet smile on his face. You grinned at the sight of him.    You hopped off three extra steps and landed gracefully into Sehun’s open arms. You gave his head a quick pat and you wiggled out of his arms. “Good morning and goodbye!” You stole a quick glance at the picture of you and your parents on the mantel. *Goodbye Mom and Dad!
