Your heart was beating quickly in your chest. Although the bell had rang for some time now, all you could feel was the pain forming from your heart. Throughout your friendship with Yoonjung, the two of you had never had argued over anything as small as this. Out of everyone, she should’ve been the most understanding.    You swallowed down the lump that formed in your throat and wiped away the tears that had fallen down your face. *I can’t let anyone see me like this.* You washed your face quickly before girls started coming in.    The moment you opened the door, you saw Kris standing in front of the girls washroom with your backpack in his hands. A mysterious smile was on his face. “What took you so long? Did you have a stomach ache again?”   Although your heart was in pain, you managed to break into a small smile. You didn’t want the boys to see you upset. They’ve seen more of your bad days than they deserved. They came to 21st century to experience a new and exciting life, not to wallow in your misery with you.    “Nah. I just had to fix my hair. Why didn’t you tell me I tied it so ugly today?” You elbowed him, trying to play off your usual silly self. He laughed. You glanced around. “Where’s Kai?”   “We made a bet to see who would find you first. Guess I won this time, huh?” Kris said.    You smiled. “Yeah. Good job, champ.” He rolled his eyes, “loving the sarcasm, Goddess.”    For the rest of the lunch period, Yoonjung was no where in sight. You expected her to be at the table when you came in with Kris, but to your surprise, her seat was empty. She had every right to be mad at you. You failed to accomplish what she asked you to do. But it was just this one time. ONCE. How could she be so cruel as to blame you for protecting her?    There was a wild rollercoaster ride of emotions while you sat with the boys. In all honesty, you didn’t know whether you had the right to be mad, upset, or offended. You’ve always had a knack for going on guilt trips.    Although Sehun was chiming with good news about his project he aced, and Xiumin and Chanyeol who were fighting over their food, throughout all that ruckus, you were stuck in your own bubble while playing with your phone. You laughed here and there to show that you were listening to the boys, but really, you just followed the pattern of their laughter and voices. When someone laughed, you were a beat slower. When someone spoke, you were quiet.    “I can’t believe you’re doing this, hyung.” Kai rolled his eyes as Xiumin stuffed rice and ham into his lettuce and wrapped it up. Kris raised his eyebrows in entertainment as he sipped on the straw of his apple juice carton.    “Look at this baby, ooo-whee!” Xiumin shoved it into his mouth with a satisfied smile.    Luhan and Sehun grimaced at the cruel sight in front of them.    “I FROGRAWT TEW ADD KEEM-JI!” Xiumin said, his words muffled by the fat amount of food in his mouth. Some of the food spewed out and landed it on some of his brothers.   “XIUMIN!” Five voices roared his name.    “EW, XIUMIN!” Chanyeol raged in utter disgust. He wiped the pieces of rice and lettuce of his face with a low grumble.    You had a deep frown on your face when you felt something wet land on your cheeks. You blinked rapidly, instantly reeled out of your thoughts. “What the—?!” You touched your dirtied cheek and stared at the few pieces of rice and green stuff on your finger.    Your face turned green itself. “EWWWWWW! WHO DID THIS?!”    “Look what you did Baozi.” Luhan said, fearing for the other boy.     Xiumin’s ears turned hot and red. Instantly, he swallowed his food and clasped his hands together apologetically. “SORRY GODDESS!”    You clucked your tongue and sneered at him. “You’re disgusting, Xiumin. I don’t know how many times I keep telling you this but please keep your mouth shut when you eat!”    Xiumin nodded right away and fervently shook his clasped hands in front of you a few more times in apology before eating like a pig again.    “Turn here, Maiden!” Sehun’s tinkling voice ordered.   You turned his way with a deep frown. “Don't frown Maiden or it'll stay permanent and you'll age faster!” Sehun said whilst smiling cutely at you, his eyes disappearing in the process. He held a wet napkin up to your cheek, and gently dabbed the spot clean.    You chuckled. “Thank you, Sehunnie.” You gave him a grateful pat on the head. Sehun beamed and held your hand. His long fingers playing with yours while you zoned out again. Your foot tapped impatiently on the floor as if it were waiting for something to happen.    Amidst all of their chattering, Sehun’s voice brought you back to reality. “Huh, isn’t that Yoonjung? I wonder where she’s going...”    You immediately perked up at the
