He tried to protect Tao from the crazy waves and ended up soaked from head to toe.   “Remind me never to help you out again.” Kris grumbled bitterly.   Tao sweetly smiled. “Thank youuuu Duizhang~”   “Ugh.” Kris flapped his wet t-shirt whilst flicking his bangs in a perfect motion. Before he could catch you staring, you strode off, inwardly screaming in your mind.    ---   Once the boys caught sight of the animals, their fascination increased. Jaws dropped and eyes widened in fascination. There were some animals and reptiles that they’ve never seen before and they couldn’t help but ogle at the peculiar way they looked.   Lay didn’t notice the clear glass at first and when he saw a bird coming his way, he ducked his head with a small yelp. Then he looked up only to see the bird perched on a branch. *Oh.. Glass windows..*    “Is something wrong, Lay hyung?” Baekhyun asked Lay. Lay straightened up in embarrassment.    “The bird was about to fly over my head.” Lay sheepishly responded and straightened up. Baekhyun raised his eyebrows and Lay rubbed the back of his neck and darted behind Kris.   Baekhyun reached his hand over and felt the cool, sleekness of the glass. He cocked his head to the side with a perplexed smile. *Lay hyung, you are always so clueless.*    Halfway there, you arrived at Monkey Valley.     Your eyes widened at the different kinds of apes. You really loved monkeys.   “OH MY GOD! IT’S AN ORANGUTAN! D’AWWW!” You cooed as you pointed to it. Chanyeol stood next to you with eyes as sparkly as yours, except his attention was definitely not on the monkey.   “Isn’t he so cute? Gosh, I wish I had an orangutan now...”    Chanyeol perked up and tilted his head cutely. “You have me! Why would you need a monkey?”    You laughed and looked at him. He was batting his eyelashes at you. “Yeah? I don’t recall you being furry nor cute.”   “Ouch. That hurt, Maiden.” Chanyeol said, feigning hurt.    The two of you met eyes, and a secretive smile broke on your faces. Chanyeol draped his arms across your shoulders and hugged you tightly as the thirteen of you continued on your expedition.    Perhaps the lion headband that Sehun wore got to his head because half of the time he was pretending to be a ferocious lion. As he passed by a glass window, he did a double take. Tao almost bumped into him.   “SEHUN!” Tao complained in annoyance. His panda headband fell lopsided from the bump. He fixed it and grumbled away. Sehun ignored him and went closer to the glass dome.    The word that caught his attention was ‘dragon’ and he instantly he grew wary. He stopped in front of the glass window and squinted his eyes. *DRAGON? I SHALL SLAY YOU. COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!* His eyes roamed inside the glass.    In the corner, hiding in the dirt was a bearded dragon. It looked like it was asleep. Sehun gawked at it. “That’s the dragon!? Pffffft!” He roared at it like it could hear him. It didn’t look up. He began to thump his knuckles against the glass window.    The loud velocity of the bang made the dragon look up in fright and then to scurry into hiding.    A little boy and his younger sister stared at Sehun in bewilderment. *What is this scary hyung/oppa doing?*    Sehun chortled cutely to himself. *SCAREDY CAT!*   You were laughing with Kai when you heard whispers coming from a couple. They were passing by but they kept looking back with a complex expression on their face. You blinked and looked back.   Your eyes widened. “NO SEHUN! DON’T DO THAT!” You slapped your forehead and ran over.   Sehun blinked and innocently pulled his hands back down.    You pinched his ears. “Sehun! It said do not hit the glass! Can’t you read? I’m sure I taught you how to read hangul!” You pointed to the sign above with a pointed look.   “But I’m a lion! Roar! I defy the rules of this modern day institution.” Sehun made a scary face and balled his fists into claws.    You rolled your eyes but cracked a smile. “Prince Suho, tame your brother, please!” You passed him to his oldest brother.    Suho stared at the maknae who did bbuing bbuing innocently to escape his brothers wrath. Suho chuckled and warmly smiled at him. “Don’t do that again, okay?”   Sehun beamed and nodded.    Gradually, the sky began to darken. The radiating heat from Monkey Valley had dried you all up.    Since it was summer, the Zoo had a special summer splash for visitors. They had a special ongoing summer event called ‘Night Time at Zootopia’ where visitors are given the chance to see night time prowlers and touch freshwater creatures.    You and the boys were allowed to pet and play with the frogs. You were playfully making kissy faces with it.   “Hey, the only one you should be doing those things to should be me.” Kai said, nudging you. You paused and stared up at Kai with wide eyes.   He smirked, and in return, puckered his plump pink lips and kissed the air and before you could register the amount of blood that had flushed in your cheeks, Kai suavely sauntered away. The smirk of victory still on his face.    You almost forgot your grasp on the frog, and luckily for you, Xiumin caught it before it could land on the ground.   You felt a disapproving glare from one of the workers. “S-sorry,” you stammered over your words. You heard Kai laugh and you balled your fists. *Cheeky bastard.*   Everyone was having fun petting the frog, except for Kris. He stared at it like it was a disgusting object that had a dangerous infectious disease. He hated frogs. They were ugly and they never appeased to him. Tao tried to get him to pet one earlier, and he almost died from the heart attack.    “Huang Zi Tao, get that thing away from me before I throw you in the sky.” Kris threatened.    Tao stopped chasing him and the smile slipped off his face. He scowled and hmphed as he paid no heed to Kris. “It’s okay froggy, you’re cute, he’s ugly. Don’t get sad okay.”    Kris gawked at Tao and then rolled his eyes. He raised his head high and remembered he was still wearing his leopard print headband. He slapped a hand over his face. *For... Goddess...*    You had washed your hands and sanitized it properly when you came back out. You saw Kris standing alone with a solemn expression. You locked your hands on your back and walked over to him.
