Lisa's POV

 

"What did you guys do yesterday? Both of you seem pretty tired because when we got home last night you were fast asleep."

 

 

"We uhh... we went for a boat ride in the afternoon. Then nothing else."

 

 

"Boat? Where?"

 

 

"The lake behind the golf course"

 

 

"WHAT" Rosé turned to Jisoo who just entered the room, "Hey Chu, Jennie and Lisa went for a boat ride yesterday. A BOAT RIDE. AT THE LAKE."

 

 

Jisoo's eyes widened, "Ohmygosh how did you do that?" I gave her a puzzled expression.

 

 

"She never liked that lake. She always said it was too creepy and she would only go there if her life was on the line," Rosé explained. "So you can understand how surprised we are that she went with you."

 

 

"Oh" was the only thing I could say. I don't understand why she came with me if that's the case. I don't want to assume anything.

Jennie's POV

 

I woke up a little late than usual. If Lisa hadn't opened the curtains and if the sun didn't shine so bright I still wouldn't have woken up. 

 

 

I felt my tummy grumbling so I decided to go out. Jisoo was the only one there.

 

 

"Where are the two?" 

 

 

"Oh you're awake. Chaeng wanted to take some pictures before we go home tomorrow so she dragged Lisa."

 

 

"Okay. What's for breakfast?" I said as I sat on a stool beside the counter.

 

 

"The only thing Chaeyoung can serve us... cereal" Jisoo handed me the box. I laughed.

 

 

It's really hopeless depending on them in terms of food. This is why they can't live without me. They can't cook anything decent.

 

 

"Hey isn't that Lisa's hoodie you're wearing?" She asked me.

 

 

I looked at the hoodie I was wearing, barely being able to hide my surprise as well. , I grabbed the wrong one.

 

 

"Oh... um... it must have mixed with my clothes. I-I don't know how it got there."

 

 

She just shrugged and continued to eat. Moments later she spoke again.

 

 

"Why is there a wound on your lip?"

 

 

I felt my face heat up at the question. I in my lower lip, trying to hide it.

 

 

"I bumped it somewhere yesterday."

 

 

"Okay. I wanna ask you something"

 

 

"What is it?"

 

 

"Are you sure you don't like Lisa?"

 

 

I slightly choked on the cereal I was eating, causing milk to come out of my nose. Ouch.

 

 

"For the nth time, Chu, I don't."

 

 

"You don't what? Say it."

 

 

"I don't like her"

 

 

"You sure?" I nodded. "Then what made you come with her at the lake yesterday?"

 

 

Her question caught me offguard I looked at her with my mouth slightly open. 

 

 

"I don't... I don't know." I remember how many times Rosé and Jisoo would ask me to go with them to the lake to swim but I wouldn't. Deep down I was asking myself the same thing.

 

 

Do I like her?

"Tell me something I don't know" 

 

 

Lisa and I are on our way to the clubhouse. I told her about the music room in there and she got all giddy and said she wanted to go there.

 

 

"Hmm," she thought for a moment. I think she's thinking about saying a scientific fact. "Oh I got something."

 

 

"What?"

 

 

"A bird can fly but a fly can't bird." I couldn't help but smack her in the arm.

 

 

"Dork" she laughed at me. 

 

 

Moments later we reached the clubhouse. The second the door opened to the music room she was in awe.

 

 

"This is even bigger than the one in our school!" She walked over to a set of string instruments hanging on the wall. "They even have the complete set of rondalla instruments."

 

 

She was beaming while trying different instruments I couldn't help but smile at the sight. I sat at the chair in front of the piano and just watched her play.

 

 

After a few minutes she stood up as if she realized something.

 

 

"I wanna play something for you," she said as she sat down beside me.

 

 

"What is it?"

 

 

"Nothing much, just a song I made."

 

 

"Omg you compose songs? Come on let me hear it"

 

 

"Well I don't actually. This is just something that randomly hit me one day so I hope you're not expecting too much"

 

 

"Are you kidding? I'm sure that's amazing"

 

 

"I just said not to expect too much"

 

 

I ignored her, "Come on play iiit!"

 

 

She lifted the cover then began playing,

"Like I said before, it was amazing. Did you write it for someone?" I looked down at the keys to avoid her gaze.

 

 

"Yes"

 

 

"When are you gonna play it for her?"

 

 

"I just did."
