Fifty Four
Summoning the SupernaturalTo be completely honest, the weirdest thing about watching a bunch of supernatural creatures battle it out in front of me was the complete and utter lack of CGI. Yeah okay, at this point reality should've kicked me in the face but, while my sleep schedule and mental health assured me that it did, it was still so hard to imagine that what was happening in front me was not a movie nor a holograph or anything of the sort. And I was witnessing something that honest to God could've shown up in an Avengers movie.
As per our agreement, Seungkwan led the attack with Seungcheol following closely behind. Seungkwan formed a forcefeild around himself and pretty much charged at Mingyu and Jeonghan. Mingyu tried to send a powerful blast of water his way, but Seungkwan's shields held strong and eventually bulldozed over the water manipulator. Jeonghan managed to narrowly avoid getting steamrolled as well only by flight high into the sky. He landed a few feet behind Seungcheol who immediate charged at him. Jeonghan wasn't quick enough to avoid him and his eyes turned the color of ash. When he started to backtrack from something that was invisible to the rest of us, I understood that Seungcheol had managed to use his ability to force Jeonghan to confront the dead.
"ALRIGHT!" I shouted when I decided I had seen enough. The fighting immediately stopped and my four friends gathered around me.
"How'd we do, boss?" Seungcheol grinned, his chest rising and falling in rapid succession.
"Not bad, not bad," I mused. "I'm actually pretty impressed. Though, I did notice a couple of things. It seems like it takes a lot of energy for you guys to consistently use your powers."
"Right-o, boss." Jeonghan grinned at me like we were playing a game and he enjoyed watching me try to figure out the rules. "Using our powers as party tricks for effortless, meaningless things is not a problem, but using them for something a little more serious for an extended period of time is
