I woke up in the hospital. I wasn’t sure how I got there or how long I was out. Honestly speaking I wasn't even sure what the damage was. There was a pounding in my head that reminded me I hit it hard on something. I could barely feel anything in my left arm, making me slightly nervous to look over.

But the amount of damage I was sure to encounter if I asked or dared to look was nothing compared to the amount of relief I felt at just being able to breathe. Memories of Minghao's attack flooded through me. I remembered all too clearly what it was like not being able to move and the panic that overwhelmed my senses. I shuddered slightly.

"Cold?" I snapped my head over towards the voice. Almost immediately, I felt dizzy and lightheaded. Cursing myself for moving so fast, I blinked a couple of times before I was able to focus again.

A boy entered my vision. He had an oval face and auburn hair. He, like me, was laying in a hospital bed. Though unlike me, the only bandages I could see were around his leg.

I opened my mouth to speak, but my throat felt dry. The boy looked at me sympathetically and gestured over to a nightstand located conveniently in between our two beds. I silently thanked him and, with my good hand, reached over to grab the glass of water that was laying there.

"I'm Seungkwan, by the way," he told me while I drank.

I smiled at him. "Mei." My voice was a bit raspy; I figure it could have been a lot worse.
