“How’d you break your leg?”
The boy looked down sheepishly. “I accidentally fell off a balcony.”
I did a double take. “Accidentally? How’d you manage that?”
I swear I saw a light blush cover his cheeks. “Not important. How’d you get in here?”
"I fell off a wall." This time Seungkwan did a double take.
"How does one fall off a wall?"
I smiled brilliantly at him. "They're pinned against it by an invisible force."
"Excuse me?" He asked in disbelief.
"You remember the guy that I kicked out in the beginning?”
“Tall? Red hair? Looked like someone took the biggest in his cereal this morning?"
I couldn’t hold back a small giggle. "That's the one."
"He did that to you?" Seungkwan asked, still gaping like a fish.
I shrugged. “I guess so.”
“Holy ,” he muttered. “How’d you manage to bond with a telekinetic?”
“Well I certainly didn’t do it on purpose,” I answered darkly.
“Right.” Seungkwan still had that disbelieving look on his face. “You just ‘accidentally’—“ he made air quotes around the word, “—bonded with a super powerful being.”
I shot him the fiercest glare I could muster. “Yes. Accidentally. It’s not like I know what the I’m doing.”
Seungkwan raised his hands in a gesture of surrender. “Okay, okay. Sorry, it’s just a little hard to believe.”
“Yeah? How do you think I feel?” I hunched a little in my seat. “If I had known what a bond was or how to form one, I never would’ve done it.”
“Wouldn’t you have, though?”
I gave Seungkwan a look. “And nearly get myself killed?”
