Free Hugs“There! That is Kai.” A hand pointed at him. Kai stood there, gulping down the fear that bubbled up from the pits of his stomach.
He tried standing there nonchalantly, like he did not care, like he was not affected by the fact that Ari stood there with the pest of the girl. Seriously that girl spelled doom to his existence.
“That is Kai?” Ari, the explorer version this time in another quirky clothing stood there, her head tilted to a side.
“Yes. Kai,” The girl, whose name he still do not know stood there pointing at him with some smug look on her face and he really wished he could wipe that off with a punch.
Ari sighs and folded her arms. She gives him an overall and Kai felt really, really scanned.
Her eyes were twinkling, Kai noticed when he finally had the courage to look straight into her eyes.
“What sort of man leaves a girl like that?” She was asking, her tone offended but her eyes amused. “That is not very gentlemanly.”
Kai did not reply anything but prayed that he was not blushing. This was an embarrassing situation.
“He does not even talk,” That girl was now pressing herself against Ari and whispering in her ears loud enough for him to hear.
“Oh? You think he’s dumb or something?” Ari replies as though they were not standing in front of him.
“No. It’s his pride. He thinks the world revolves around him,” That girl throws him an angry glare which Kai couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
