Ari's bedroom was an explosion of art, if that could even describe it. It was clean alright but very messy considering she had so much stuff. Her entire wall was painted terribly which Kai assumed automatically that it was her doing.

Wigs were kept in hooks that were in that painted wall, lines of it. It may or may not have creep him out a little.

Lots and lots of books were about, most of them lying on the ground, piled up. Her tables were full of weird looking accessories, her chair seemed to be a bag hanger with so many different types hung into it. In one corner, there was a collection of CDs, probably music CDs. It was organised in such an unorganised way he wanted to laugh. But anyhow he liked it. It smelled like her, it felt like her.

She collapsed into her bed, like she usually does in his and gave a loud sigh.

"I am so freaking tired. My mother is making me work my off by letting me run after my stupid, whiny cousin sister. Do you know how hard it is to remain calm for so long?" She tells him once he settles in her bed too.

Before the discussion could progress any futher, the door swung open and a cute girl, probably their age or younger came bouncing in.

Kai looked at Ari and raised his brows in question.

"OMG Ari! Why did you not tell your favourite cousin that you have a boyfriend." She squeals out loud at that making Ari sigh and roll her eyes.

Chapter 66: I finished this in one go. And I'm thinking what to comment, actually reading this makes me think hard. About Ari, about Kai and all life stuff. lol. anyway, this hurts knowing if only Kai reached out to her, by then this won't end like this. But then again, its in human nature so I understand Kai. He is selfish to only think of his own problems but he is already drowning in his own demons to see that others are suffering as well. But I'm happy everything turns out well for him in the end. And I also salute Ari, she fight long enough though she decided to give up and rest in the end. She is brave enough to at least help and be there for Kai even if she is also drowning in her own demons.

Thank you for this one and I hope you are okay now. If in any case you need someone just to listen to you and has no one else, you can PM me. Cheers for more great work Ms. Author 💙

Chapter 66: This hurts

But I'm grateful for your final message. Life is precious, no matter how difficult at the time. I didn't end up as Ari but I did have a time like her. It's hard not to drown in our own pain and miss that of others. I feel reminded to see beyond myself.

I hope you (and fellow readers) always take care <3
