Free HugsLydia reminded him of Ari, a lot.
They looked alike in many ways considering their mothers are sisters. But it was not that. It was their personalities.
They both had this 'life' like personalities, a word which Kai could only put it up that way. But their 'life' was also utterly different.
Both of them were like the sun but Lydia was more of a sun with planets all around her and gathering them to form a solar system of her own. Whereas, Ari was like a sun that shone without the need to collect others. She of course, seemed to have found him but she never kept him, did she? She went away every time, unafraid that he will be gone in her absence.
The warmth they radiated was also different. Lydia's was scorching, especially to a person like him where as Ari's was warm... and so very comforting.
Ari was now alright, discharged from the hospital and the three of them sat in her room with Lydia talking off her head, Kai stealing glances at Ari and Ari staring out the window of the room.
What was she thinking? An escape... Freedom...? What was it?
She swings her head to Lydia and Kai swore her eyes filled with softness for a second before going back to the same old blank stare.
Ari... she did care a lot. She loved a lot but... she was different. She showed it, a lot sometimes but at other times she hides it. And also there were times when she stopped caring altogether, no bothers about what other people feels...
