He felt like he had been cheated severly.

It was already very late into the night.

He stood at the corner of the road and puffed out smokes after smokes. For sometime, he just let the smoke fill his lungs and enjoyed the sensation it bought before releasing it.

It had been an utter failure, his quest to search for Ari. He was very sure that Ari had boarded the bus, very, very sure but even after the bus had returned to its station to retire for the day, she did not come out of the bus.

In simple words, he had chased her round, at least half of the city before finding out that she had obviously outsmarted him, knowingly or unknowingly.

Did she put on a disguise while she was inside the bus and sneaked out without him seeing her?

She was smart, that he'll give her.

But that doesn't mean she will evade him for long, because he can be smart too.
