Apparently his brother had been hiding the fact that he had a girlfriend, from his father. That made it so much easier to get the bike that he had been wanting. After all he wasn’t badass unless he rode a bike right? Besides he was now 18, a legal adult.

But as he stood and looked at the newly purchased motorbike, he felt all the more miserable. Life was supposed to be better than this. School was a drag but now that he had a bike, he sort of felt as though he got a pair of wings, flying off anytime he wished to.

“K-Kai Oppa,” A very sweet voice rang out as he parked his bike. He turned around to see a girl in front of him. He recognized her- she was the girl who was apparently very popular and who wore lots of make up to stand out.

He raised his brows in question. She was standing there blocking his path and not saying anything other than unnecessarily tucking her hair. She seemed flustered seeing the reaction from him though and he had to sigh in annoyance.

He started walking towards the school but he was again stopped by her, this time by only a few meters. Her perfume was nice at the least, although if he were to advice, he would suggest using a smaller amount of it.

“What.” He snarled a little, his patience running out.

She jumps a little and he is more annoyed at that. What the hell does she want?

“I-I-I wish to date you,” She says, this time tucking her hair in again and smiling very shyly at him. “Can I be you

Chapter 66: I finished this in one go. And I'm thinking what to comment, actually reading this makes me think hard. About Ari, about Kai and all life stuff. lol. anyway, this hurts knowing if only Kai reached out to her, by then this won't end like this. But then again, its in human nature so I understand Kai. He is selfish to only think of his own problems but he is already drowning in his own demons to see that others are suffering as well. But I'm happy everything turns out well for him in the end. And I also salute Ari, she fight long enough though she decided to give up and rest in the end. She is brave enough to at least help and be there for Kai even if she is also drowning in her own demons.

Thank you for this one and I hope you are okay now. If in any case you need someone just to listen to you and has no one else, you can PM me. Cheers for more great work Ms. Author 💙

Chapter 66: This hurts

But I'm grateful for your final message. Life is precious, no matter how difficult at the time. I didn't end up as Ari but I did have a time like her. It's hard not to drown in our own pain and miss that of others. I feel reminded to see beyond myself.

I hope you (and fellow readers) always take care <3
