“Ari… What is your favorite food?” Kai whispered his face very hot and looking everywhere but her face. He meant to ask lots of question but this one came out. He doesn’t know why. Don’t ask him.

“Um… Depends on my mood really. But I wouldn’t mind fried chicken most of the time.” She looked up from the magazine she was reading.

“Really? Me too.” He replied, a little too fast and now he was embarrassed.

“That’s great. Let’s go have some chicken then.” She asks bouncing out of his bed making Kai relieved.

“Now?” Kai asked, after a moment as he watched her grab her jacket. She was not hungry, that is for sure because she was munching on a packet of chips just now!

“Of course, now.” She replies in an obvious tone. Almost like she couldn’t believe he asked that.

“That makes it better than.”

“But I don’t even have a car.”

“Hm… We can always steal your brother’s car. I mean he did not take it to work. He used the company’s.”
